Excellent orthopedic practice. Well organized and detail oriented. Dr.McGuire is very informative and a great listener who takes the time to answer all questions and concerns.

This was my first time meeting Dr. Thomas McGuire but I have been through a lot since my car accident and you learn to look for certain features. Dr McGuire was very attentive, present and made me feel like I was in the best of hands. More surgeons should be built just like him.

Dr. McGuire did a fabulous repair on my right knee meniscus. I was able to walk on it the same day. I have already scheduled my other (bad)
knee to have the same procedure.

Went in for knee surgery with Dr McGuire and his surgical staff they were all very efficient and clear on everything that was to be done he was very attentive and made me feel very comfortable knowing what he was going to do and made me feel listen to and I'm very proud to have had him and his staff operate on me and would recommend anyone that needs orthopedic surgery to see Dr McGuire

If I could give Dr. McGuire more than 5 stars I would. He has been attentive and compassionate throughout my healing process. After a non-related medical crisis forced me into the hospital for a week, he made special visits just to visit me and ensure I was receiving the best care possible and ensured that I developed no complications post-op. I honestly cannot recommend anyone more qualified or compassionate than Dr. McGuire. Not even just Dr. McGuire, but the entire staff at Downeast Orthopedics has been nothing short of amazing. Every concern or question I’ve had has been met with compassion and sincerity. Cannot recommend that practice enough.

Dr McGuire was great. I really like that he rather avoid the surgery option if possible. He is exceptional at his job and has a great personality. Unlike others with his skill. I would highly recommend him and DownEast Orthopedics

He is very pleasant and knowledgeable also puts you at ease and explains everything. I need surgery on my knee and am very relieved to finally find a physician who was able to take one look at my knee, listen to my complaints and knew exactly what the issue is and how to fix it! What a relief after being put on one med after another, referred to a rheumatologist and sent down various other rabbit holes for almost two years. I am so grateful to know In a short time the knee will be pain free! It was also easy to schedule with him and the wait was minimal! Wow, just like it used to be when you went to the doctor and they understood and fixed the issue quickly! Thanks Doc!

I have been seeing Dr. McGuire for about a year and a half and he has performed two major surgeries on me. He is absolutely amazing. He is very professional and caring. He also does amazing work. He has truly given me a better life! I would recommend him to anyone. His staff are very kind as well. I have never had a bad experience.

When my son broke his arm, Dr McGuire was amazing. He explained everything, treated my son and us wonderful. I had a text from him before my son even woke up from surgery. Excellent care. Thank you so much!

The staff are always very pleasant to deal with and very accommodating. They went above and beyond to fit me in for a follow-up on the same day of my original appointment when I called to reschedule due to a school function for my children.
