Staff are super nice and knowledgeable. I was a bit scared to start PT 2 weeks after surgery but after my first visit I have much more confidence in what I should and should not do while I heal. Dr. Allen did a great job with my surgery. He took the time to answer any questions I had. I have had almost no pain post op. All the support staff greet me with big smiles everytime I go in.

I met with their provider who was very professional and efficient. Checking in was easy. The provider was actually early. I accomplished several things during the appointment. I'm very impressed with their providers and their staff and would highly recommend them to anyone.

I feel such a relief after visiting Misti Guerin today. First of all she is so down to earth and friendly it made the visit a wonderful experience. I feel like we now have a plan to follow and she will be with me throughout whatever comes. Thank you Misti!

I have been very happy with my Downeast Orthopedic services. They are seriously some of the nicest people around in addition to being highly skilled and competent at what they do. They actually really care about their patients. Bar none, their skill levels are some of the highest I’ve ever encountered in my 76 years.

Cara is awesome. She is very knowledgeable and super friendly. I would recommend Dr. Books' team to anyone. The front office very friendly and his secretary, Julie is always ready to help.

Cara is such an awesome part of the DEO team: she listens and takes the time to explain the condition(s) as well as various treatment alternatives. She is very sharp, and her personable, common-sense approach is SO appreciated. Lastly, she genuinely cares about the patient’s(my) improved health and is a great resource to help make that happen.

My experience with Downeast Orthopedics has, and continues to be excellent. The entire staff is pleasant and professional. They all are considerate to maintain confidentiality and are very responsive to questions about the care that I am receiving. Having worked as an RN for 46 years, I can easily rate this practice as a five star health provider.

Misti, was awesome! She was kind, Very thorough in her examination, explained everything to me, answered all my questions, made me feel way less stressed about my visit. I wish there were more like her! I also would like to mention that your whole entire staff, from walking into the door to leaving your building, all were kind, polite, and very pleasant. I can't believe I'm going to say this but, I can't wait for my follow up appointment! I hate going to a doctor but you all made my visit very pleasant.
