Joint replacements.(12).total for various reasons. I wouldn't know what to do if Downeast Orthopedic wasn't here for us in need of help with our aches and pains and old joints that need replaced etc,etc.I just recently had my twelfth joint replacement
Actually a revision surgery my joint was over twenty years old and was in really bad shape. Dr Walsh took very quick action to
Make.sure that I was out of harms way. He as usual did a wonderful surgery. I'm very happy with my out come. Dr Walsh is a very pleasant Surgeon and I'm so glad that he took me back as a patient and put me back together. He's the best Thank-You Dr Walsh.

Excellent session with Dr. Walsh. Informative, prompt, complete and detailed.

All questions were addressed and a specific plan for future action was effectively communicated.

Dr Walsh was amazing. From entering, to physical care, to leaving surgical care, I was pampered and given 5 star attention. The atmosphere was calming and serene making for a pleasant experience.

The office called this morning to move my appointment earlier due to the pending storm. Dr Walsh as always was wonderful, fully explained the surgical results, and answered all my questions about the plan going forward. On to knee # 2.

I went to see Dr. Walsh for a second opinion I was very comfortable with him, explained everything to me in detail, and was satisfied with the results of my visit

Dr. Walsh is the best orthopedic surgeon. I would never consider going to another one.

From start to finish, this has been the best possible experience. The entire staff are the most professional I have ever encountered. And they are very kind.

Everything about the way that Doctor Walsh and his staff worked with me to get me to the point of being able to have knee surgery was very encouraging. It took me a while but it all paid off. My surgery for knee replacement and my recuperation all went great..I am looking forward to having my other knee done as well. The care and utmost professionalism is definitely a 5 out of 5.

A great doctor and a great person. Dr Walsh is the best orthopedic surgeon ever. I have had a few surgeries and the healing time and level of pain is minimal compared to previous experiences, his staff at the office are all kind and compassionate and efficient. His team in the OR are truly caring and very skilled in their work. I feel blessed to have had such capable hands fix my knee. Cannot praise them enough.

Seven years ago Dr. Walsh performed a total knee replacement surgery on my right knee. The surgery turned out very well. I have virtually no pain and complete freedom of movement with my right knee. He did an excellent job and I recommend him highly. About 4 years ago we moved to Virginia. When my left knee required surgery it was convenient for me to have an orthopedic surgeon in Virginia Beach perform the surgery. Unfortunately this surgery did not go very well and I have limited range of motion in my left knee. To get a second opinion, I went to see Dr. Wash while we were visiting in Maine. Doctor Walsh was extremely helpful in diagnosing the reason for the stiffness in my left knee and recommended a plan for treatment. I will have him correct the problem with the stiffness in my left knee. He is a wonderful surgeon with a great manner. I highly recommend him to all who ask. My only regret is that I did not have him perform the surgery on my left knee, but I live in Virginia and not Maine.

I could not of asked for Dr Walsh to be more understanding and he gave me hope when I didn’t think there was any. I would highly recommend him!
It’s now been a year since I made my first review and I have had both knee replacement surgery’s. I’m six weeks out from my second one and I can say that I’m certainly glad that I have had them done. It’s a lot of hard work but they are there to help you through it. I would highly recommend Dr. Walsh and Misti. They are a great team to have on your side and I can’t thank them enough!

“This place” is a practice consisting of orthopedists with various sub-specialties. In the past several years I’ve seen five of them and had surgery with two, Dr. Walsh being the most recent. Everyone I’ve seen on this practice has been absolutely excellent, and I have found Dr. Walsh to be the same. He is very experienced in performing the procedure I had. He has inspired me to to feel great confidence in his skills and in my prospects for recovery. He is professional in manner and also personable and caring, a trait I’ve not usually encountered in most of my previous surgeries, not including this practice. I’ma curious person, and he has patiently answered my many questions and explained things carefully and thoroughly.

Dr. Walsh has the best bed side manner and makes me feel comfortable and confident in all of our discussions. He is wonderful in answering all of my questions (even some weird ones!) and making suggestions to ease my recovery from knee replacement.

I have had nothing but positive interactions with everyone at Downeast Orthopedics

He is very professional and listens to what your concerns are! I personally think but know that he is by far the Top rated knee and hip Doctor ever!! He has helped a lot of friends and co-workers!!
