Lorenzo's Fresh Italian Cooking

This is the place that would offer you the best service possible in NJ restaurant, we are not from Garwood but highly recommend this restaurant for its such warm and friendly staff and really fresh food. The owner even went above and beyond by bringing the booze of our choice and our waitress was extra sweet and courteous with our order. Would highly recommend their pizza and would visit again. Delicious Tiramisu!

This is our favorite Italian restaurant in the area by far! Prices are fair and the food is so fresh and so delicious. You will not be disappointed with this restaurant. Restauranteur Luis is a terrific host as well. He will make sure your experience is the best! Try Lorenzo’s for lunch as well!

Sharing this review after receiving the pan sear salmon Lorenzo via Uber eats. I must say I’m impressed. So many times you order salmon out it is overcooked and dry. This arrived perfectly cooked and tasting very good. Broccoli beans and tomatoes were delicious as well. Nice portion size as well. Arrived with small side house salad and a nice loaf of fresh bread which I was not expecting, Uber eats menu did not state so but a very welcome addition. Overall a great dish that I would recommend.

This place is literally around the corner for me, and this next week there’s a town wide promotion called “Taste of Garwood” running, so OF COURSE I had to walk over with the family and have a nice Friday night dinner out. Everything was outstanding, from the service to the food (penne vodka with shrimp was great) to the dessert! We got there a bit early for a Friday night, it was quiet when we walked in, busy when we walked out (and everyone else’s meal looked good too)! 5 stars to this great local Italian spot, make sure to check it out!

Absolutely fantastic. We went on New Years DAY. Party of 6 and a child. Everyone got something different and all of us were very happy with our meal. It is a BYOB a grate plus. We should have gone sooner.
We will definitely go back.

Lorenzo's seafood is top notch. I've only ordered takeout but the freshness is evident. From their scallops, flounder, & calamari, the options are plentiful. Also the chicken soup is delicious.

Showed up for dinner one night with family without reservations. They took us in very quickly. Your typical Italian family style resturant atmosphere with great portions and great flavor. Was surprisingly pleased with my experience. Manager even came out to greet us for a personal touch.

Chicken parmigiana was good, not soggy like most places. The bread was crispy and the arancini were good. My sister had ravioli and she liked it as well.

Chicken Murphy Xtra peppers, the cherry peppers kicking it up a couple notches, right where you want it in spiciness,makes you slowdown to catch your breath .The desserts? Forget it I was already stuffed.

Went here with a large party. The staff was very friendly and tentative to request and clearing the table. The food was amazing by far some of the best I’ve experienced so far. A huge menu with choices for everyone no matter what they like or can’t eat. The food came out in a timely manner with enough time between plate to finish the plate and relax some.

Seven of us were there last night to celebrate my boyfriends birthday. The food was absolutely delicious. We’re still taking about what a Great night we had.The service was great and the owner was a sweetheart. He came over to our table to make sure we were satisfied with our meals. I can’t wait to eat my leftovers tonight. Will definitely be going back.

Ordered take out from Lorenzo’s for the first time using their online site. There’s a 5% discount for first time online orders. I was a little confused with the menu, I selected a soup but did not receive with either of my meals. Large menu with lots of choices. We got the chicken francese and penne in vodka sauce with grilled chicken. They came with salads. Both dishes were very good. We will be returning!

Family oriented, had a bday party here and it was great. Good verity of appetizers, main course and desert. Food was well cooked, service was good and fast. Plenty of time to chat and enjoy food

Seriously the best Italian food around! I recently had my sons baptism party there, in the room next door. It was beautiful and every guest complimented the food, staff, place itself. It’s also a great place to just simply go out to eat. Would definitely recommend this place 11/10! 👍🏼👍🏼

We went to try the new ownership of Lorenzo's and we were very happy with our dinner. The portions were generous, the red sauce delicious and the pasta was done al dente as it should be. One of the owners came out and it was a pleasure to see him take the time to introduce himself, greet the tables and check how the experience. Service was friendly and timely too. We consider this to be our new local go-to Italian place! Another note, I went back to bring a friend there on Monday and again, the food was well-prepared and delicious! It is great to have a good restaurant open on Monday, when many are closed.
