Had a great experience with the after hours girl on the phone she was sweet helpful and made me feel welcome. Then the next day worked with a lady at the front counter about having my tied down. After talking with her because she was nice and helped full I decided to have them fill up my plane and put it in the hanger to warm up for a couple hours. I normally don't want to pay for "extras" but because how nice I was taken care of on the phone I was ok with the little extra. Then when I got there everything went from good to AMAZING my aircraft was filled, in the hanger, inside was warm, line girl was helpful willing to work, was happy, and let us pre flight in the warm hanger. Then after she had us get inside the hanger and pulled us and our warm aircraft out so we could start. Plane started great! Plane was nice and warm and the 2 hour flight home was nice and warm too. Next time I come to Mankato I will skip the tie downs and just have them take care if it. Cost was way worth it! I do feel that Northstarr Aviation has stepped up there game!

These guys went out of their way to make sure we were able to leave safely, and on our schedule. I would definitely do business with them again.

A bit pricey but it's reasonable for a flight school

Stopped here on a XC flight for fuel. The line guy was great but it took forever for someone to get to the desk to pay for the fuel and then once there it was a whole process of adding me into a database in order to create an invoice to pay for a few gallons of fuel. This cross country trip was 1200miles and this place by far was the longest wait on paying for my fuel.

A bad flight school. They don't care about students.

Absolutely one of the worst experiences I have ever had. I was enrolled at the college, and the instructors were all demotivated, rude and always rushed through coursework. On top of that, everything is upcharged at a ridiculous rate and you have to have those items to fly. ON TOP OF THAT, there is NO WAY I could get a refund for the flight lab in which I only flew 3 times. Ridiculous.

Woken up at all hours of the nights cause these rich people want to fly their toys.

Plans make touch downs at airports well past 1030pm at night!

The guy operating the front desk, I think his name is John, is a real piece of work. He is one of the least personable and most abrasive individuals I have ever met. Second only, maybe, to the line worker that was accompanying him at the front desk.
