The short: Amazing, amazing staff, great food, and great views.
The long: We had our wedding here in August 2016. Chef Beth was amazing with our food needs and we had SO MANY compliments on the food, the amazing staff, and the view. One thing that is super great about this place is the membership that comes with a booking for a large event, so you can try different foods every day/week/month if you like. For example, we had passed cheese curds, no joke! And they were amazing!! My now husband and I really got to know the staff, so any anxiety about anyone working at our wedding was gone because I already knew 75% of the people there. I seriously cannot rave enough about the staff. Just amazing, real, kind, generous, thoughtful, smart, speedy (took 20 minutes or so to serve like 250 people in two rooms), AMAZING. Jen and Jane always promptly (within an hour >90% of the time, within a day the rest of the time) reply to emails about any questions, bookings, food requests, etc. They act as amazing liaisons with not only the staff and the kitchen, but also all the vendors we hired. They both know the questions I'm forgetting to ask, and they always acted as if this wedding was going to be super fun for everyone, including the staff! :-) Bonus: there are so many photo ops here - we did pictures against the Ivy wall, obviously the view from the ballroom and the terrace are amazing as well! I cannot recommend the Campus Club enough!

The U of M Campus Club is a really unique and special place on campus - full of history and hospitality. It's a great place to meet with U of M community, clients, family, friends. We've participated in family events (Mother's Day Brunch, Easter Brunch, etc.), department events, seminars, Wine and Scotch tastings, countless lunches and enjoyable happy hours. The food is outstanding and the environment elegant and inviting - the views of campus and downtown are beautiful. Highly recommended!

Was a wonderful little hidden gem. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking to have a good time. Had a great time here with my friends. Great seating and an inviting staff.

If you’re looking for a hidden gem on the U of M campus, the Campus Club is for you! They provide wonderful entertaining with a spectacular view! Would highly recommend!

Campus Club has an extensive and diverse catering menu, a large and beautiful event space, and an affordable price. There is a perfect view of downtown Minneapolis and the Mississippi from the banquet area, and they have a beautiful bar with a gorgeous solid wood bar top and a bit of an Art Deco vibe.
The event coordinator (we worked with Liz) is organized, accommodating, extremely knowledgeable, and just plain great at her job. Would recommend to anyone looking to hold a wedding in the Twin Cities.

Awesome environment! Wish I had come here when I was a student. The drinks are delicious and are regularly rotated. Food is very good. Usually not too crowded so you can have a nice dining experience. The rooftop has great views of downtown MPLS and Northrop. Very fun and affordable! You don’t need to be a member to come to the campus club, but you do get discounts as a member and is well worth it if you stop by a few times times per year.

We had our wedding at the Campus Club last weekend, and I must say it was a success with many thanks to the staff there! We had our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception all at this location, which made it easier for out of town guests so they would not have to move once they arrived. Jenn, our coordinator, was so helpful with the details and made sure we were taken care of from the moment we booked this venue. Everything was flawlessly and all of our guests loved the gorgeous view from the terrace and the bar room for conversation throughout the wedding as well.
In addition, the food was absolutely amazing. It tasted great at our tasting but honestly it blew us away at the reception. I highly recommend this gorgeous venue along with the great staff that will make sure you're set for the big day! Thank you to the Campus Club!

I remain very happy to be a Campus Club member. The staff are stellar and the food is top notch. The only "issue" is that whatever I've eaten has made me want seconds. They recently served a shrimp okonomiyaki that blew my mind. The price for meals is more expensive than the fast food that's available on campus, yet very competitive with sit-down restaurants. I never feel that I'm getting overcharged. Whether it's catered lunches for meetings or dining for lunch or happy hour, you are sure to be pleased with what you're served.

We are so pleased that we selected Campus Club for our October wedding. From the first email inquiry we sent to the Campus Club, we were impressed with the diligence, competence, and experience of the staff. The space worked well for us and our guests. There is plenty of space for everyone to spread out - the terrace, the dining room, the lounge area, and the bar. We had a variety to guests from kids to my 90 year old grandparents and everyone was comfortable. The views are stunning from every single one of the spaces! We had hoped that our ceremony would be on the terrace but it was unseasonably cold (and snowing) on our wedding day so we ended up having it indoors. We were initially disappointed but it worked out great to have guests sit at the dining tables and was really pretty. The space is nicely finished and requires very little decor to look pretty for a wedding - we only did centerpieces and cafe lighting and it looked great! This saved us a bunch of money too. The food was excellent and all of our guests’ dietary limitations were accommodated. Leading up to our wedding, we worked mostly with Jenn who is very organized and responsive and takes care of all the details we hadn’t thought of. She responded to every one of our (million) questions right away. On the day of our wedding, the managers and staff made everything run absolutely perfectly. These people really know what they’re doing. We couldn’t be happier about our wedding day. Thanks Campus Club!

Liz , Nick and team were awesome. The view , facilities and food were great and some many of our guests let us know they felt the same. The only issues with Nick and Liz were they don’t seem to know the word no as they answered all our requests with a yes or sure we can. Special thanks to Nick for getting my vegetarian daughter a special meal without sauces, fulfilling a last minute request on the day of the wedding. Just one of the “ of course we can” responses. We’re dialing up to a Six Stars on this one.⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Love this place! Great food, drinks and events. The University is lucky to have this gem on campus. Whenever I am looking for a place to bring business associates for lunch or a place to hang out with colleagues after work, this is the place to go. The Campus Club is truly an asset to the University.

My new husband and I were thrilled with the U of M Campus Club as our venue and caterer. Their level of service and professionalism was phenomenal -- they basically do everything for you which makes set-up and tear-down extremely easy! This was the only venue we toured and knew we wanted to book it right away because of their amazing floor-to-ceiling windows displaying a gorgeous skyline of Minneapolis! And the food -- incredible! We loved that everything was organic and local. Best of all, they were one of the most affordable venues! We highly recommend this venue!

We hosted our reception at the Campus Club, and could not be happier with the way that everything turned out. Jenn, our contact at the Campus Club, was incredibly helpful throughout the process. She was willing to offer advice when we needed it and was incredibly flexible and accommodating as we went through the planning process. The evening of the reception itself was incredible, the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful at every turn. The food was hands-down some of the best I've ever had. Further, my wife has 15+ severe food allergies and the Campus Club was able to alter one of their menu's dishes for her and other vegetarians at the reception. The facility itself is gorgeous, from wonderful views of the Minneapolis skyline to an incredible terrace to a separate bar/lounge for those looking to take a break from dancing. All in all, this is an incredible venue with marvelous staff; we feel so fortunate to have hosted our reception here.

We got married at the Campus Club 2 weeks ago and it was amazing. My husband and I met on campus and loved coming back to get married at the U! Jane was so nice and so easy to work with. We met a few times in person and did everything else through email and she made the whole process super simple. She and Jenn were so fast at responding to my emails and questions and they walked us through the whole process. We had our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception all at the Campus Club, which so so easy and the events transitioned seamlessly. The terrace was amazing for the ceremony and the reception hall and it's views are spectacular. Our guests loved all of it! A lot of guests also spent time on the terrace during the dance since it was so nice! The food was delicious and the staff was so helpful. I was very pleased with the wedding and I would highly recommend this venue.

Hands down the best wedding reception venue ever! My husband and I couldn't be happier with our choice to have our wedding reception hosted at the Campus Club. The food was delicious (multiple guests commented on how much they loved it), the staff was helpful and great to work with, and the views are second to none! The patio was the perfect place for people to hang out during cocktail hour and the dining room worked out great for the dinner and dancing. Overall, a great experience at the Campus Club!

We absolutely loved having our wedding at the Campus Club. All of the staff we encountered through planning and execution were incredibly warm and supportive. Jenn was our lead contact and she was simply fantastic to work with: responsive, organized, and also just a funny and friendly person! Staff noticed and attended to all the little event details throughout the night - the space was beautiful, our food was *amazing*, and the dance was hopping. We really appreciated the feature of a full service bar right at the venue - many of our guests had a drink before the event and we hired an accordion player that really set a festive mood during happy hour. My husband and I felt totally taken care of and like we could just enjoy our wedding!!

My now-husband and I had the Campus Club as our wedding ceremony and reception venue this June, and it was fabulous! We had been to a friend's wedding reception there shortly after becoming engaged and from there forward could hardly consider other venues. We knew we wanted the ceremony on the beautiful terrace that overlooked the U of MN campus and downtown and to have our reception in their wonderful dining room with, most importantly, *excellent* food and service. They also had a top-notch bar. And it was within our price range! SCORE! We secured our reservation and were thrilled from there forward. The coordinators worked with us to make sure we took care of all the necessary details, worked well with our other venues, and adapted to our needs where necessary. They even rearranged the room to move the dance floor so that it easily became the dance party we wanted, after dessert. Everyone was very complimentary about the location and the food, the views, etc. We will be renewing our membership with the Campus Club, soon, since I absolutely would reserve space for other events in the future and would recommend it without question, in the future, to others seeking a place to host an event. Thanks to Jenn and Jane for making all our details come together!

I came here to have lunch with some friends who are on the faculty at the University of Minnesota. I have been here several other times over the years and I enjoy the food, lively discussions and outstanding views of the Mississippi River and downtown Minneapolis. The food choices of cold and hot foods, already prepared or made to order are excellent. The cafeteria style access is efficient and flows smoothly. The staff are terrific.

We had our wedding at the Campus Club in August, and it was PERFECT! We live in NYC and we had to plan the wedding from out of state, but Jenn, Jane and their team made it very easy to plan, they were there to help every step of the way, answering questions whenever we needed. And the wedding day was BEAUTIFUL. The ceremony was outside on the terrace with the beautiful view. And there was a rain plan if it rained, which was important to us. We were able to have the ceremony outside, but we loved that they were flexible and able to decide last minute if we were going to need to move the ceremony indoors. The reception in the West Wing was spectacular, and we had our first dance, speeches, and dinner as the sun was setting - it was an epic, cinematic sky! We've gotten so many compliments on the space and the food. The food was something that was very important to us, and it was local and unique and delicious! The Staff was so friendly and helpful. We always had what we needed. I couldn't have asked for a more wonderful experience. And all at a reasonable cost. We HIGHLY recommend this venue!
