Big O Tires

Big O Tires is like having your dad work on your car for you great friendly customer service, makes appropriate suggestions for future car care, no hi pressure sales pitches ( not that my dad ever charged me for big repairs) offers coffee, has a television for you to watch.

This location in really nice because the big waiting room is not cramped and dirty with magazines and newspapers scrambled about.

. It's big and open with comfortable seating and tables and WiFi.

And they were fast I had made an appointment, they concise and on time.

The service was excellent! The staff went out of their way to make the situation more convenient for me. After having a flat tire Saturday night, I was eager to stop using the spare tire and replace it before the start of the work week. Since my car is all wheel drive, and my other tires were at the end of their lifetime, it made the most sense to replace them all. However, they only had 3 tires for the size I needed at the store. Despite it being a Sunday afternoon, the staff drove to another location that had 1 more, and as a result were able to install all 4 tires that same day, so I would not have to come in again. Thank you. It is very much appreciated!

I was halfway to school with my daughters on a frigid November morning when my tire went flat. Fortunately I was right across the street from Big O and drove in. We had a warranty on the tires from another store and I planned to put on the spare while my girls waited inside, but Tyler said he would put the car up and put the spare on for me at no charge so I didn't have to be out in the cold. Excellent service and compassion even though I wasn't even a paying customer. Such a positive experience, I really appreciated it and will be back.

Went here for the first time to get my tire patched. Could not have asked for a better experience. They patched the tire for FREE and didn't even try to sell me on a bunch of other stuff, which was refreshing. The front desk gal was really friendly and helpful. I will definitely be giving them my business when it is time for new tires! Highly recommend!

I've had nothing but good service every time I've brought my car here for the past six years. It seems now a days it's hard with other locations that you get honest technicians who appear want to fix the issue and care for your well being. However, this is not the case as Greg has always been upfront and has does an excellent job. Jeff is also very courteous and they both go above and beyond. I'd recommend this location especially for all types of tires, brakes, alignment, and wheel type service., its very rare for me to write a review but it's much needed.

We discovered a nail in our tire as we were leaving town to drive 1,200 miles. The employees were super friendly and repaired the tire extremely quickly. Even the employees not directly working with us were super friendly. No charge for the repair and I was fully confident it was done the right way. Made it home with zero problems!

Very professional group of people with the best prices in town for what I got. They swapped my winter tires for my summers, and it was quick and easy for them. They have wifi in their waiting area, which albeit slow, worked perfectly so I could work while waiting. They had a tv on so I could listen/watch that while getting some good work done. It was a quiet atmosphere and plenty of seating. I was treated well and would recommend Big O Tires to anyone that needed car work done.

Incredible service from the entire staff! Went in to have tires I already purchased to be mounted and balanced. Got a quick quote through the phone, and my three time I dropped my car off. It was done in a hour and a half. Truly painless experience!

Gary the Mechanic was thorough and showed me the tire on the rack and his opinion on my tire choice. Also cares about the set up of suspension and the under carriage. and the front desk gal Ellie? was encouraging through the process. good price, great service!

I come here for the great service and friendly staff! They always do an amazing job and i'm outta there in no time. I recently had my oil changed, noticed it was leaking and brought it back to have it checked out. They made an honest mistake and apologized. Took care of the problem right away and my car is in good driving condition again! I always leave happy and less stressed!

A company is as good as its employees. My primary interactions with Big O have been with Dustin at the front desk. This guy goes above and beyond to help the customer. He helped me through all my issues and provided top notch service and suggestions. Also, he was very mindful of social distancing. I will be coming back for sure for my next set of tires.

Just went in to get tire replaced after I got a flat. He quoted me for two new ones at first for what seemed like a reasonable price, and then once they took my car, came back and told me they were actually going to try to repair the tire. Turns out they were able to, so I didn't have to buy any new tires! Very honest and genuine customer service here, thank you guys!

I wasn't expecting to be able to get in right away to fix my flat, but they had some time and offered on the spot. Great work and they were done within 20 minutes! I've gone here a few times for tire issues and they are always accommodating.

I brought my truck in on a Sunday morning to get the tire patched from a screw puncturing it. I had tried setting up an appointment online but there wasn't any availability. Being that it is a work truck and I couldn't drive it with a flat tire, I just asked if I could leave it there. The receptionist said that they would try to fit it in even though again, I didn't have an appointment. I left and about an hour later, received a call that it was fixed. I went to pick it up and they said my first fix was free. Great way to manage clients' expectations and then over deliver on service!

$900 in repairs wouldn’t usually make me happy to give a 5 star review, but the service was second to none. Ellen is absolutely fantastic with her bubbly personality on top of her willingness to help. Gary is extremely knowledgeable, treats you with respect, and is very fair. He explained every little detail and has so much experience. I won’t go anywhere else. Thank you!

I cannot say enough great things about the SLP Big O Tires.

From a purely financial standpoint, the folks at SLP have saved me hundreds of dollars. They offer free tire patches, free basic inspections, and always have a great deal on synthetic oil changes.

More importantly, they are honest and trustworthy. When I bought new tires, I expected to pay the ~$90 fee for wheel alignment, but the mechanic told me my alignment looked great and it wasn’t necessary. He could have easily charged me that fee for a quick buck, but he was honest and saved me the money instead. I would not trust every auto shop to be so reputable.

Finally, I appreciate that the mechanics alway seem happy to educate. I am not the most automotive-savvy, so I really appreciate how they answer my questions, take time to explain what’s going on with my vehicle, and give me a few maintenance tips.

I can’t recommend SLP Big O Tires enough. I’ve recently moved away from St. Louis Park, but still continue to drive across the Twins Cities to this location for my automotive needs.

Went in to get my snow tires mounted, as inexpensive as Costco, with better service. Done same day. Tyler was very helpful, will definitely be back. If you are thinking tires, definitely check them out.

My husband and I were on our way to my 30th birthday party and ran over an Allen wrench on the highway, as my tire pressure slowly counted down we thankfully happened to be close enough to pull into Big O Tires in SLP off hwy7! The staff was so friendly and quickly took off the tire and replaced it with our spare FOR FREE and explained what we needed to do to get a new tire on there, but we were able to get to my party and be on our way so fast!!! I thought the day was going to be ruined but it was actually so amazing how awesome the staff was. Thank you!!!

I had troubles finding the new generation of Michelin X-Ice tires, Mark at this location helped me order them and pick them up in less than a week. They also had a great price. I'd recommend checking this store if you're looking for winter tires.

Definitely my new car spot! Got my car in quickly for an oil change on a very cold day with a lot of other customers needing battery help. Very professional and personable. I’ll absolutely be back!
