What an absolute treat this place is and probably one of the best experiences I've had since I've been to San Diego.

The owners were there and were more than happy to help us out and their charisma was just something you don't really see that much in the entire state of Nebraska. They had such a willingness to help, and their goal was to share an amazing experience as much as possible.

They went over the menu with us and gave us tips and tricks from other customers and ultimately we settled on slice orders of The Alfredo, Tony's Favorite, The Veggie, Spicy BBQ Chicken, Pasta Salad, and Two pieces of Cheesy Bread.

The cheesy bread came out and it looked fantastic, like it literally was rushed as soon as it came out of the oven, still molten and all. It came with a side of sauce as well which tasted great with it, but the bread itself seemed seasoned well enough that it didn't even really need it.

We tried the cheesy bread in some of the pasta salad "sauce" and it was absolutely incredible. Just dip it in there, I'm sure you'll love it.

When talking with the owners originally they described slices as a giant slice cut into two, which is exactly true. Two orders of slices as they stated comes down to about a half of a medium size pizza.

Moving on, the pizza was absolutely incredible. Not too stiff of a crust, but not doughy either. A nice crisp/crunch to it and each bite was just absolutely fantastic. I was actually upset at myself that I didn't order more, but they were topped perfectly.

When I say perfectly too, the Tony's favorite was just magical. To the point that I blanked out because my mind short circuited with the perfect flow of flavor. It wasn't just one flavor that was overwhelming, it was absolutely everything working together and I don't think I can describe it in better words than that. Get a slice of it, and just take a big bite into it and chew.

In the end, this is the kind of place that I wish I could somehow yell at Dave Portnoy and others just so they got the chance to try it out. We don't live close to it at all but if people were to ask us "Do you know where to go to get the best pizza in Omaha?" then there's no doubt in my mind I'll absolutely tell them here.

This place was a complete surprise and genuine pleasure! We had an unexpected evening off and I wanted to support a small business so we tried this place early on Friday evening. It is located in a strip mallnon the northeast corner of 72nd and 370, next to Great Clips. It was very clean, the food was great, and the service was super attentive and warm. The pizza crust was the true standout. Thin without being soggy or crunchy. Crisp and chewy! Perfect! The side salad was generous with iceberg, tomato, cucumber, olives and banana peppers. They even had a Balsamic vinagarette. The large sized pizza fed four hungry adults. The marinara was well balanced, tomato-y without tasting undercooked or overspiced. The Italian sausage was ground fine and didn't have an over powering anise flavor. The toppings were heaping and very typical of Omaha style pizza. The dining room was accessible with basically zero entry but did have two swinging doors. They have 4 large TVs but thankfully on mute and high enough not to be intrusive. The music was reasonable. They even have an outdoor space, bar seating and take out. We spent $48 on pizza, and soft drinks for four and two side salads. My dad and sons all said how much they liked it. All and all a very positive experience and would highly recommend!

My only ticky tacky persnickety issue was that the ceiling fans were lower than the recessed lights so the dining room had a low grade strobe effect . Not a deal breaker but I noticed it.

The name Caniglia’s is synonymous with good food. Caniglia’s pizza and pub is right up there We had a half meat, lovers and half vegetarian pizza. The crust was nice and crisp. We had side salads also and they were very fresh.
The service was outstanding. The owner himself waited on us, and it was very enjoyable to talk with him.
I would recommend this hands-down and plan to eat there again next time we’re in Omaha.

I love everything here, but their Veggie pizza is amazing. I never thought I would like a pizza without meat on it. The sausage and peppers pizza (pictured) is also one of my favorites.

This was our 2nd visit. The pizza is great. The buffalo chicken sub was also great - one of the things I dislike about subs is TOO MUCH BREAD - but the bread on this was just right. The chicken has a nice grilled taste (and is in chunks so easier to eat!) and I was able to get the sauces on the side so I could adjust the heat level. The pasta salad is made in house and has a slightly sweet dressing. I loved it. The servers are attentive, making sure we got our refills right away.

Oh my gosh. My new pizza favorite! Pictured is Tony's favorite. V good portion, great flavor! Wife had basic hamburger pizza, enjoyed it. With 1 Italian draft and soda, $21.50. Very reasonable! It was so good! Jordan, manager/owner very hospitable! Been back several times, great menu. Off 72nd and highway 370. 11425 South 72nd Street. Across from Russell's Carwash.

Heard about this place and thought we would give it a try. We were not disappointed! Tony and his crew put out an outstanding pizza! We had a Large Tony's Favorite and our friends ordered a medium Hamburger Onion. We started with Italian Nachos which were delicious, served with whole wheat tortillas. Staff were super friendly and attentive! Pizza toppings were abundant, fresh and tasty! Crust was on the thin side and crispy! I will make a special trip back to try their Sausage and Peppers! You have to try this place, you won't be disappointed!

The pizza and service was amazing. We arrived around 12:15 on a Saturday for lunch, there are only 4 tables in the whole place so there was a wait. We were able to order while we waited for a table, but were seated before our order of cheese bread and pizza was ready (it all took less than 15 minutes). We purchased drinks from the cooler and the cashier put them into a cup with ice for us. Overall the experience was great and I’m glad we tried it out. The pizza was delicious and hot - we got the double pepperoni sweet heat. I would definitely recommend if you’re looking to try a new pizza place.

They welcomed us right away and helped us promptly. One thing we appreciated is that they sell slices but most importantly their pizza is amazing!!! Thank you for the great service and time. We will visit often 😊

You have it go here! It is SO amazing. This was our first time and we will be frequenting here often. The staff are beyond nice and very helpful. I got the Sicilian sub, which was packed with meat. My husband’s pizza was amazing and packed with meat. If you are thinking about going here, do it!

We visited last night for the soft opening.

We ordered carryout and were told it’d be 30-45 min. We arrived about 35 min later, and they were expectedly busy. We ended up waiting another 30 min for our food. The wait really didn’t matter, because they were right on top of the customer service. Despite the chaos of orders flooding in, they were striving to make everyone’s experience a good one and make up for the wait. Unfortunately when they got to our order they had just run out of the large crust they needed to make it. To make up for it, they made the large chicken alfredo pizza we had ordered into a medium instead and threw in an additional medium meatball trio pizza as well. This was a happy accident, because when we finally dug in that meatball trio pizza was by far the standout. I think I would have been a bit underwhelmed without it. But I would definitely go back for that one alone. The meatballs and thin sliced pepperoni had the perfect flavor and spice. The crust was the ideal pizza crust you look for - crunchy but soft, and the pizza sauce was fantastic. If you’re going to have a first experience with Caniglia’s, I would hands down recommend the meatball trio pizza.

The chicken alfredo pizza left a little more to be desired. The crust must have absorbed the alfredo because it was pretty dry. I think with a little less spinach and a lot (and I mean a lot) more alfredo, I think this would have been a good one.

The meatball sub ranked second after the meatball trio pizza. The sauce, meatballs, and cheese were heavenly. However, I think using the same oven for the subs as they do for the pizza chars the bread a bit too much. The burnt bread unfortunately overpowered the sub toppings. Additionally, the cheesy garlic bread was good, but not a standout, so probably not necessary to get again.

All in all, they’re still working out some kinks (as expected with any new restaurant), but with their customer service making up for any wait times or ingredients that sell out, we will likely stop back again to get another tasty meatball trio pizza. And to try the salsiccia and peppers sub we also had our eye on!

Be patient, and give them a shot! And get the meatball trio pizza!

Phenomenal customer service!

The speciality is thin crust pizza with generous toppings. It was a a very good thin crust, with a crunchy bottom, slight chew in the middle and enough structure to support the heavy toppings and sauce. Toppings tasted very fresh and the sauce didn’t have that metallic after taste you get from some other places.

They also have pasta. We tried the pasta for one with Alfredo sauce. The penne pasta was cooked to perfection and was Al dente. The sauce was rich and garlicky. You can chose from the same topping list as the pizza. Overall, it was a good pasta dish. It would be nice if Shrimp was one of the toppings for pasta.

They have a well rounded list of drinks available.

The location is pretty, it’s located within some townhouses and is like an small European colony with British and German design. Inside cozy feels a bit like a house. I believe inside there are half dozen tables and there is also patio seating for when the weather wants to cooperate.

As mentioned earlier, the service was top notch and clearly they put their customer first. As a bonus they are kids friendly.

We will definitely be back.

I have been here two time. Great experience each time. The food is home made and great. They have a waffle pizza to die for. It's a home made waffle with cheese and pepperoni. OMG. We order two pizzas and a a Sicilian sub. Nothing is bad here. If I had to complain about anything, it would be the young staff. Very little customer service. But that will come with time and maturity. My wife and I will return. Thanks Jamie

Excellent pizza with tons of toppings. Quick friendly service. Be sure to try this place if you like pizza. They have sandwiches also but I haven't tried them yet. They also have a good beer selection.

This place is all around a fantastic place to grab a pizza! Great crust, great sauce, and great toppings. I came here when they first opened and the place was packed. The owner personally apologized as soon as I walked in the door for the wait and gave us free beers while we waited and a free app. We only ended up waiting like 5 minutes before we got to sit down and eat. All around a fantastic experience.

So I've picked up pizza from this place twice. Each time it's been AMAZING. I haven't found a bad pizza yet.

I wanted to share a picture of the lovely whole pizzas, but they just don't last that long around my family.

My daughter exclaims "yes the white box!!" When she sees these on the counter.

Also, I think the box has a list of all the better pizza places... aka no where has better pizza than this place!

HOLY BUCKETS!!! Okay I am letting the secret out of the bag❤ This is an amazing place!! It’s not like the typical pizza places around the area. As soon as you walk through the door you feel at home. Friendly staff, very clean and amazing food. They do have take away which is a plus for a picnic or game night. They have a lovely area to eat outside if you choose. They have subs which will be my next choice & salads for the people who want green 🙂 I promise you won’t be let down step out give it a try👍

No wait, great food, nice people, great service, good music, sweet drinks, awesome pizza, big salad, fresh dressing, what more can I say... Happened to stumble into Caniglia's on a Saturday evening and it hit the spot. Recommended Tony's Specialty pizza or the Meatball Trio, Cheesy bread with your salad, and an ice cold Dr. Pepper.
