New Victorian Inn & Suites

I was very pleasantly surprised by this hotel. It is clean. It doesn't smell, the carpets are not dirty. I booked in a no smoking room I don't smell cigarettes (even in the hall). I don't smell animals either Which I almost expected.. I have a service animal myself. I actually don't hear Dogs barking either. Nor can I hear through the walls. The room was pleasantly decorated with some innovatIve lighting choices. The bathroom is nicely appointed and seems that of a 4 or 5 star hotel. I wish I could find a hotel like this everywhere I go, I've paid a lot more for a lot less.

The staff are friendly, good people. The rooms are comfortable (I'd consider this to be business-class lite). The breakfast includes sausage gravy/buttermilk biscuits, bacon & eggs, and a make-your-own waffle station. They have a clean, well-maintained pool. There's plenty of parking, even if you have a trailer.

And it's right next to a Statie station so you can rest assured there won't be any tomfoolery happening here 🙂

I recommend this place to anyone that wants a good night's sleep at a comfortable spot right off the I-80 in Omaha.

Two of my family members and I came to Omaha, NE for a wedding. When we arrived at the New Victorian, we were greeted by two gentlemen at the Registration Desk. They were professional, friendly, and very helpful! Breakfast was from 6-9 am. They had Biscuits & Gravy, 3 types of Cereals, Bagels & Cream Cheese, Toast, Coffee, Milk, Orange Juice & Apple Juice and you could make your own Waffles! Everything was fresh, tasted great and the area was very clean! I am forever grateful to Todd, who works the Registration Desk (among other things and he was one of the gentlemen who greeted us at the Registration Desk), and Seth, one of the Maintenance Employees! I was frazzled and had a lot on my mind that weekend. On Fri. afternoon, one of my family members accidentally locked her keys in her vehicle - a 2004 Toyota RAV4, which she had a key to unlock and to use to start the vehicle, not a Key FOB - and
she accidentally left it running for 3 hours! 😢 She didn’t realize this until it was time for my family and I to go to a function and she was looking for her keys! Believe me, we were frustrated and she was sick to her stomach! 🥲 She went to the Registration Desk, and, long story short, Todd called Seth and after about 30 minutes of working hard, Seth was able to unlock her vehicle! Seth was patient and persistent! We were/are truly grateful! 👍 Our rooms were clean, quiet and we all slept very comfortably!
The only thing I didn’t like is that we did not have washcloths. But, I don’t blame the Inn! They have a laundry service that they use and the service did not supply the washcloths. We made due using hand towels. I would definitely recommend the New Victorian Inn and Suites! 👍

For the price, it's a great value. Big screen smart TVs, hot breakfast, and decent service by hotel staff. It is not a fancy hotel by any means but for the price and amenities it will be hard to beat in the area.

Matt the manager was super helpful and kind and understanding. Breakfast was amazing and fresh. The rooms were nice with friendly decor and clean. I'm extremely picky so that means a lot. Looks like they are doing a little remodeling can't wait to come and see the finished job and go take a swim in the outdoor pool.

Breakfast was very good. The guys at the front desk were super nice and went out of there way to help me get into my room. And extremely understanding and nice when I lost my key to my room a million times..Thank you . I will recommend and will stay again.

Really clean rooms, great window of time for breakfast.

We came in quite late in the evening and the gentleman at the front desk was extremely friendly and accommodating despite the late hour. The room was clean with plenty of room for my cat to calm down after a long car ride. The window for breakfast is also quite large, so we didn't miss out even though we were up late.

Very clean rooms I would recommend to anyone clean hallways very clean outside

This place is excellent in more ways then one, I would have never thought of staying here until somehow i accidentally was booked at the most terrible dirty frightening horrible hotel ever (the travel inn) my experience there left me almost running out, I noticed the well lit clean tall building across the road I had called and explained my terrible situation at travel inn and the front desk worker was so kind and helpful getting me into a room very quickly. Very spacious nice clean room! Prior to the nightmare booking at TI I had checked out of Magnolia- you can imagine the shell shock. Experienced my suv being stolen and cards etc out of it is what lead me to having to find a place accepting of cash and not with a crazy high deposit, being out of town and no branch here to withdraw from made it difficult. This place is very welcoming and helpful to their patrons. I have quit renting rooms in the Old market all together because this place has just grown on me. All staff is very kind, all entries and lobby etc is kept clean. The gentleman at front desk are very kind, Christian stands out in mind as I’ve noticed he goes above and beyond to help anyone and everyone weather guest or not; he treats everyone very well. Issues handled very professional and sympathetic. Not often can you keep going on and on about the good of businesses like this, or any for that matter; The New Victorian INN however you definitely can.

This place took us in gave us a discount for the first night due to the travelers inn not allowing us to fulfill our reservation through Priceline. The room was so nice and clean very comfortable! They were extremely nice and had great service!

Omaha's best kept secret; this historic hotel doesn't try to hide the years it has spent serving guests. It has been a home for refugees, it's been a last stop before hospice where loved ones can be together and relax, and even disaster relief and emergency housing. It is a place where service animals and pets are welcome (We all love animals at my house!). There's even some little natural grassy areas with indigenous foliage around the building to explore. Children are welcome here, They are the Very Important People here. Breakfast is delicious, the housekeeping staff is down to earth and tells it like it is, and the management is on-site, so every detail is mostly perfect, with a few exceptions to remind us that we are still human, after all. It's far enough from downtown that most events don't affect the prices, but there are exceptions. Why book any other hotel?

Best place to stay I really like mostly everything Thanks For The Service

First of all, the staff is exceptional, very helpful & kind. The beds are so comfortable, I didn't want to get up! The rooms are very clean. I'm not a coffee drinker, but my mother went on about how good it is. It's available all day. Breakfast choices were awesome. I honestly can't say enough about this place. Glad we'll be here another night!

My family and I stayed here last night 3/9/18. The frond desk customer service was great. The room was clean. The beds and pillows were very comfortable.. My baby fell asleep after I sat him down against the pillows because he was so comfortable. I stayed on the second floor, and I did not smell any smoke. The breakfast is a standard continental breakfast, which I have no complaints about. I found everything I expected to find in it: waffles, buscuits and gravy, coffee, yogurt, cereal, donuts, bagels, juice etc. Everything was good. I definitely recomend this place. I would definitely stay here again. Overall, I had a great stay.

The staff is always on top of anticipating a guests needs. They open doors, offer towels before you have to ask, and the halls, lobby, and parking lot is cleaned frequently. Over the last 8 years, I have never had a dirty roof. Thanks to all of your great staff!

The place was very affordable, extremely clean and up to date. The staff was very friendly, even late at night. The rooms were very comfortable and the continental breakfast was very well put together. In the morning at breakfast I over heard many people taking about how this is the best place they have stayed at, and that it was the quietest place they have stayed at. Very happy with our stay. Will be back soon.

Walked in the lobby and noticed how clean it smelled, and looked. We were on a non-smoking floor though there was a faint odor of smoke, but nothing awful. Good breakfast options. Nice place if you just wanna rest and sleep, would stay again.

The price was good , and the hotel was very nice and clean. The room was comfortable, a good size, and had beds that were some of the best I’ve slept on. The water pressure and temp were above par, and the staff were both friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good quality, and nothing ever ran out. I was very pleased, and if I ever need a hotel again, in Nebraska, this is my choice.

The hotel was emaculate. So clean and the workers at the front desk where so helpful. I had forgotten about telling them I was bringing my dog and it wasn't a problem at all. The room was spacious and clean. The pool is awesome. And the breakfast was beyond excellent.i would recommend this hotel to all my family and friends.
