Love the food here, the owner is so kind and always makes sure I feel welcomed and cared for. Service and food 10/10. I highly recommend!

The smoothies are greatly priced and on point. Ordered mixed platter very good as well as their empanadas. Shortly food was great and the guys were very welcoming definitely coming back soon

Best gyro platter, I got beef, chicken and lamb Gyros, so yummy. Falafel so delicious.
And it's reasonable prices.

One word: Delicious! Food is cooked fast and seasoned to perfection. Staff is courteous, place is clean. In my opinion, this place is better than J. P. and is my first preference when I'm craving Mediterranean food.

I've had food here (at Fat Moes located in Hawthorne, NJ) on a few different occasions and absolutely loved it. What a fantastic restaurant. I had hotdogs and french fries and they were incredibly delicious! What a treat. I was quite happy when I first learned that this tasty joint opened up right here in Hawthorne. I can't wait to eat here again many, many times in the near future. What delicious food! Again, what a wonderful restaurant conveniently located right here in town! Thank you.

I ordered the Mac and cheese bites for my daughter who absolutely loves them, and ordered the chicken shwarma wrap without pickles for myself. I normally have the platter for dinner, but the wrap is a nice alternative for on the go. It has so many layers of flavor, and if you like spicy don't forget their red sauce. So far everything I have ordered has been right on point. Location is clean and the service is quick and friendly.

5 star in my book. Best place to get late night food that is also on the healthier side.

I ordered the beef shwarma with extra beef. It was a good amount of meat. The rice was very good. They make sure you have a lot of white sauce.

I also got a side of hummus and was surprised how good it was. Again larger portion.

I would’ve taken a picture of the food but I already enjoyed it.

We were bored with the usual list of local restaurants - too expensive, inconsistent food quality, slow service, same-old-same-old. Then stumbled on Fat Moe’s.

Amazing food! Best babaghanoush I ever had! Fattoush salad, falafel, hummus, kebabs, kibbe...
And so reasonable!
We over-ordered and will pick on leftovers for days.
Check it out. They have a few dine-in tables. Spotlessly clean and they make milkshakes and smoothies!

Went here for the first time today and what an great place, Falafel is the best I have had in New Jersey and the price is perfect; they should actually be charging more for that great food. You guys ROCK!!! I hope you stay in business for many years to come.

I have been to this place a few times and tried all of their various platters. The gyro the lamb and the chicken. All of the platters are very good and the food is fresh. I really enjoy this place and will keep returning.

Happened to be in Hawthorne. Checked Yelp for local eateries. Found Fat Moe's and ordered for for my family:. Two falafel platters, two chicken shawarma platters, baba ganoush, and baklava. Everything was really delicious! The baba ganoush has a luscious subtle Smokey flavor. Highly recommend this place.

New Place and I will be back again and again.. Service was great the owner very nice and gengerous with food and shakes..
I had the beef shawarma and grape leaves and a smoothie all were great! Shawarma was the real deal and the grape leaves were not fake out of the can! Grape leaves were Delicious!

Been around this cuisine my whole life and I have to say Fat Moe's legitimately delivers home cooked quality food. Definitely some modern American twists on some of the menu items but that makes it unique. Everytime I've been my man Junior has made the food TO ORDER, nothing sitting around and well worth the short wait, he knows what he's doing. Can't recommend the beef shawarma enough, but everything I have tried has been on point. Real great Mediterranean food hiding in Hawthorne, puts most places around here to complete shame.

Most amazing gyro I have ever had.

Placed a big order for me and my family and we were so amazed. Great quality food and good prices and the food will definitely fill you up with the portions.

Ordered take out that was ready when promised - Baba Ganush, chicken schwarma and a mixed grill platter. The portions are substantial and the food is excellent. There will be plenty of leftovers to enjoy tomorrow. We will definately order again.

Great smoky hummus , the hot sauce is excellent, and the falafel and tabouli are superb. It's probably my favorite quick healthy bite in Hawthorne.

Fat Moe's is one of the best Mediterranean spots I've found in the area if you want awesome tasting platters. Their schwarma is amazing and the gyro is delicious. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a good spot to get some baba ganush. Definitely check them out if you have a chance.
