A huge shout out to Anna, who brought a little of Italy with her to the Bronx. Everything, from the coffee to the vibes, you will feel you have just stepped into a neighborhood coffee shop in Italy. They even have a NYT article written about it!

I am Italian and I can confidently state that Anna makes one of the best espresso coffee not just of the Bronx but the whole NYC. Also they are Napoli supporters, which is a huge plus for me.
Good pricing, cash only.

Absolutely wonderful service, the cutest outdoor seating and most delicious espresso. It’ll be my go to spot!

Excellent Italian-style espresso. Everyone in the entire cafe spoke fluent Italian -- customers included. I went three days in a row and it was fabulous every time.
The croissants are delicious.

Honestly some of the best coffee I've had in NYC. Genuine New York-Italian atmosphere, amazing cappuccino, the croissant is the perfect balance of crispy and soft. Simple and lovely :)

The best espresso. Not at all acidic. You have to experience the taste. I had a macchiato. No sugar or whip. I also purchased a very tasty cookie/biscuit. The service was great. The atmosphere had an authentic vibe. I would go back and I do recommend. I am very picky and have a sensitive pallet especially for espresso.

Oh man! I miss this place. It's the last cup coffee I had before leaving the Big Apple. Best cappuccino in northern NYC. Careful - the croissants are super fresh but hot. Helps to know what you want to order ahead of time (there's sometimes a line of impatient and surly looking folks who probably aren't morning people waiting for their coffee).

Got espresso and cappuccino, both were great. Croissant was also really good.

I love this place. Found it in an old New York Times article titled “Espresso Disciples Worship Here”. They weren’t wrong. Worth the trip, even if you’re no where near it.

The lady that makes the cappuccino behind the counter is probably one of the best cappuccinos I ever had in my entire life. Last time I came was back in 2018 and decided to see if they were still open. I’m glad they are and they have an outdoor seating as well.

What an espresso! I'm searching NYC now for two years for great espresso, and this is clearly leading the pack city-wide! I live in Brooklyn, so it's not my easy neighborhood place, it takes me forever to come here, but I'll certainly be back. Good for cappuccino as well, and for original Italian treats (Pan di Stelle etc).

Benny the butcher sends me to get espresso for Morris Park Meat Market, it's the best I've had since my mother passed away (she would have loved this place too); they also are selling some really good seeds from Italy, my basil is growing rather nicely (you get a very generous amount of seeds for $3).

I adore this place. The cooffe that Ana makes is the best one in the world. It's a cozy a nice place with a classic italian touch where you can enjoy with your friends or reading a book. Attention to the customer is very good. I really recommend it !!!!

A little slice of Italy right in the Morris Park neighborhood! The cappuccino is comparable with what you can get in Rome, and Anna the proprietor is the best! Today everyone except us was speaking Italian! I love it

Yes, I'm here to announce to the world, that I'm officially addicted to there "Iced Cappuccino", it Is my new drug of choice.
I gotta admit that even After reading reviews here and their on how amazing their espresso and cappuccino Is, I was still skeptical, mainly because thus far, my disappointments were far too many for a place like new York, with so many coffee shops... But nothing prepared me for this! It's like Anna the barista/owner put a spell on me!!! I guess she just wanted me to "try" the Iced Cappuccino.... And their I was, hopeless and hypnotized, and hooked for life!
But that's not to say, that their espresso shots fell short, no no no! not at all, these potent little shots are not to be underestimated, it will kick the s*** out of you! And leave you with a long lasting piquancy!
Disclaimer: Yes You will Savour the depth and character of the coffee here, but in the same time it might ruin your coffee palate forever...
And it's only 5-10 minutes drive from the Bronx Zoo.
Bonus: read the nytimes article on this place.

I ordered three cappuccinos. The lady in the front counter was wonderful. The cappuccinos was heaven. I never tasted such a delicious cappuccino. I can’t wait to go again.

Extremely authentic Italian cafe that comes complete with a bevy of septuagenarian men out front with steaming espressos. I do not know when they get their croissants, but they are some of the best I've ever consumed.

A small privately owned small coffee shop or bar as it would be called in Italy. Run by the nicest people, you can stop in, have a capucino or espresso and be on your way without all the chaos associated with chain stores. Italian news or shows are usually on the TV. it's really like a quick trip to Italy.
