Savannah South KOA Holiday

Lovely campground for tents, RVs, and cabin goers. It was clean, the people were nice. They patrolled all night long and grabbed our trash bag the second it went out. We rode bikes through the logging trail next door and around the lake.
There are swans and a TON of ducks.
They also had Savannah tours that picked up and dropped off at the campground.
We just wanted a place to park the RV and got so much more.

I checked in this afternoon. The staff was super attentive, and the office/store was clean, well organized, and smelled amazing! I was escorted to my lodge by a very kind and knowledgeable man on a golf cart. I was so happy to enter a beautiful, clean and well equipped cabin with the most beautiful view. I couldn't be happier with my accommodations. 10/10 would recommend to anyone passing through, or better yet, needing a local "#staycation". They pay attention to detail here. Clean, comfortable, and affordable.

We stayed in one of the simple, small lakefront cabins. It was chilly enough for a fire and not too far a walk to the bathrooms. And boy were they clean! We were treated every morning and every evening with a visit from several beautiful swans. The staff was extremely friendly and offered granola bars and a deck of cards upon check in! Although the campground was full it was always very quiet. The location was just fine for day tripping to Fort McAllister and Savannah. Overall, a very nice KOA!

My husband and I pulled in with our 19ft Escape as a one night layover on route to FL. Conveniently located just off 95 made it an easy in/out for our trip. Check-in service was pleasant and efficient and we were even escorted to our campsite by a gentleman in a golf cart. Sites are close together but clean and level. The park was well maintained, bathrooms were very clean both upon check-in at 4pm and at departure at 8am. Highly recommend making a reservation in advance as the park was full when we registered at 4pm arrival.

The camp ground was extremely clean and well organized. It was quiet after 10pm and felt safe and secure. The bath house was immaculate and lots of hot water. The staff was very friendly and professional. The entire facility was well maintained and looked new. It’s close to everything without being in the middle of everything. Fantastic experience! We look forward to staying here again soon.

This is a sweet RV park not too far a drive from Savannah. Staff very nice, bathrooms clean and typical of a KOA. The dog park is big, well- lit, and has supplies. Nice area to walk around. We were near the street was the only issue. Heard traffic and helicopters often.

We stayed in our RV pulling a toad. The reservations were made by telephone and they had to be changed due to our conflicts. Both times on the telephone Cassandra helped me and she was AWESOME at helping me to book and change the reservation. Great location to I-95 with easy access as we are 65 feet long. The staff was friendly and welcoming.

Very clean and relaxing campsite. If you pay a bit more you can stay at a site with a private dock. Not far from main attractions in Savannah, right off the exit which was very convenient for travel. I will definitely stay here again in the future.

Savannah South KOA RV Campground offers a serene setting with ample amenities. The spacious sites, clean facilities, and friendly staff create a pleasant stay. However, occasional noise from nearby highways might disrupt tranquility. Overall, a comfortable spot for RV enthusiasts.

I liked the campground, particularly #53 because open space on my left. Site was level but shorter than many others. But my 26 ft class c fit with room for my car. Hook ups convenient. You must ask for a fire pit. Office can arrange pick up for Savannah Trolley, which I recommend.

We enjoyed our stay at the Savannah South KOA. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rideshare driver, Manny, was able to give us a ride with short notice and his prices are more than reasonable.

Amazing place in Savanah GA, Savanah South KOA! We got 26a. Pull through, private patio with fenced in doggie area, full hookups, and right next to a beautiful lake/river. Staff is extremely friendly!! It feels like you're at a resort!

The staff.i.e...Peggy and Gary were fantastic hosts, they treated us like family. the campground staff were constantly on the move, the rest rooms were clean. the garbage was picked up as soon as you put it out. bottom line next time we are in the area this is my go-to place.!

Very close and convenient to I-95, but not so close that traffic noise is an issue. Sites were plenty big and utilities worked as expected. Wifi got a little slow at certain times, but was mostly useable. Would stay here again.

We RV camped here for a week and really enjoyed our stay. The area is very close to Savanah proper but looking locally around Richmond Hills is the prize. The p KOA staff welcomed us and really spend significant time cleaning and keeping all beautiful. We had an issue with our truck and they helped us find local repair. Plenty of walking areas and a small but fun dig area for our four legged family member.
Great local source for food and fuel. This is a class RV retreat.

Nice cabins by the lake relaxing you can hear some road traffic but its one of the best KOAs i have stayed at..

We stayed in one of the deluxe cabin on the lake. Although it is older and pretty outdated, it was very clean. The location is great. Close to Savannah, Tybee, and lots of shopping and restaurants.

Our one night stay was very pleasant. Stayed in one of the cabins. A great location by the lake. Enjoyed our stay at this KOA.

I love KOAs in general, and this is a really nice one with a swan lake! Both times we stayed here we were in the smaller cabins on the water. We had swans right outside our front door. It is really beautiful and also conveniently close to the highway and restaurants. Keep in mind when renting the smaller cabins you need to bring your own sheets, pillows, blankets, towels; as is specified in the registration information. The bathrooms were very clean and the employees are super friendly.

Beautiful property! Swans, geese, and ducks all over the lake! 😍 It's so serene. The staff is friendly and that area is well kept. Great location too. Highly recommend!
