Artie's Steak and Seafood Restaurant

A great place to go to. Exceptional service with a great knowledge of the menu. The New York Strip was juicy and tasty. I am not a seafood person that being said I tried and liked the buttery lobster. A top recommend to go to in City Island

My only suggestion would be to do something about the fly problem. The flies kept coming to our food and that got annoying.

It is a wonderful place with an awesome staff and a delicious menu. You should stop by if you're in the area.

Cosy spot on City Island Avenue. Had the Linguini with white clam sauce. Super tasty, perfect buttery, huge enough portion to bring half of it home. Beutiful local, Italian-American atmosphere.

I could not let this day pass without writing this review. My Fiancé andI had the pleasure of visiting Artie’s today. THE SERVICE WAS PHENOMENAL. The food…… ALSO PHENOMENAL. We had the greatest time! Everyone was kind and happy and took their time with us. We had lamb chops, Octopus, and baked clams for appetizers. The ribeye and the shrimp and lobster fettuccine alfredo were both cooked to perfection. Honestly, I will continue to come here as it came highly recommended and exceeded all our expectations. Thank you to the staff at Arties!

This Restaurant is GREAT. It was my first time dining here and I loved everything about it. I came for lunch and it wasn't too busy at the time. The place was quiet, peaceful, warm, and cozy, with a nice decor and table presentation. The restaurant is of a decent size and it seems to have several dining rooms. Upon entry you will be greeted by the host and you'll notice the bar to the right. The staff and our waiter was nice and tended to our every want and needs. The Meñu has a decent amount of items, prices are fair but can get a little pricy with certain dishes. The wait for the food wasn't bad and it was all delicious and worth the prices. Customer parking is available, Restrooms are clean and Unisex. I certainly would recommend this place and definitely come again. Thank you and Enjoy.

Everyone of our entrées were cooked to perfection, add to perfectly seasoned, and large portions, attentive staff and great service, our wonderful waitress Esha made our trip from Bensonhurst Brooklyn worth the trip. We had mentioned that someone at the table was celebrating a birthday, she made sure to sing happy birthday as she brought her dessert to the table. Overall it was an amazing experience.

This place was great! The portions were large and the food was tasty! The waiters were super too! The raw oysters were so fresh and delicious. The baked clams were small okay. The scallop sliders and mussels in a white wine sauce were great.
Surprisingly. The place a nice Crispy duckling with mash on the side. The risotto with clams. Shrimp, mussels. Scallops was amazing.

The food and staff are beyond at this establishment! We hosted a small baby shower there and everything was phenomenal. Laura was a please to deal with when talking about details and very responsive. Jose aka the Real MVP (so attentive to the guests and always checking in to see what we needed). I would absolutely recommend hosting a small gathering there. They have their own parking lot. The room to the side had a seperate door so guests could leave and return out the same door. To be honest, we couldn't have asked for a more perfect experience.

Food is good, service is great. We were given clam chowder and bread as an appetizer and forewarned that a large group entered before we did and our food may be slightly delayed. Very attentive and on point.

I came in with my wife I ordered the 30oz porterhouse steak and my wife got the Surf & Turf. Both steaks were cooked to perfection (medium). Our waitress Mallory was amazing and made sure we were ok the entire time, she made us feel comfortable and welcomed. I rate her 5 stars in customer service. Overall it was a great experience and would highly recommend.

Great environment for family dinner or just friends hanging out. The Maple Smoked Old Fashion was one of the best. Had 3 wonderful meals.

The food at this restaurant was fabulous. Debbie the bartender was amazing with making the Blanco Luxury Margaritas drinks, they were lit. Joe and Bryan were our waiters for the night who were all attentive, friendly and fast. Thanks to the wonderful staff at this establisment for making my experience wonderful.

So I went back to Arties recently with a group of friends and family and we had a fabulous time. Lauren-Manager, Debbie-Bartender, Jillian-Hostess, and Brian-Waiter were all fabulous and amazing. I love me some Mrs. Lauren, she is so personable, charismatic, and a sweetheart. We literally felt like family to them throughout the whole time, extremely accommodating and inviting. The service was impeccable. The food was delicious and well seasoned. The cocktails were superb. It was such a pleasure seeing Debbie and Brian again as well as meeting Lauren, Jillian and the Chef. You guys made my returned experience amazing 🤩 !!! I will be back…. 💋 😘

Great place to eat. They know us since my son was young, I celebrated his Confirmation there, all our birthdays, and any other celebrations we have. I love the place, it is very family oriented. My favorite restaurant.
Recently after Covid19 we were able to eat inside Artie's finally. We celebrated my mother's 81 birthday.
It felt great to see the staff onec again 👏 at Artie's.

I've been coming here for over 20 years.
Found it pretty much by accident then, just driving around City Island on a rainy Saturday night looking for someplace for a date night - Google Maps, etc wasn't so big then.
I've been here numerous times over the years, have always had a great meal and great times.

I found myself on Orchard Beach yesterday on a Bonus Round Of Summer - 80° on the 28th of October- and wanted lobster rolls.

Artie's not only didn't disappoint, but thoroughly impressed:
I got two lobster rolls, fries and cole slaw that knocked my socks off in quantity, quality and price.
(Go ahead, compare)
I also picked up their seafood salad for two which was huge, amazing and fresh.

Love, love, love this place.

Update:
On latest visit we tried the seafood appetizer for two, the tuna and the chicken francais. All were excellent. The appetizer had shrimp, stuffed clams, mussels and eggplant rollatini.
Service was attentive without being overbearing.

Wonderful variety of seafood and Italian staples. Portions are generous. We shared oysters and the half shell and the grilled octopus. They were both lovely. The new England clam chowder was excellent. Tasty pieces of clam were good. The cup will not be enough! The fettucini with shrimp and lobster in spicy marinara was very good and provided enough for a second meal.

Great overall experience! We'll continue to visit here. The drinks, food and desserts are amazing. Our servers are always friendly and helpful.
