U-Haul Moving & Storage at Grand Concourse

Customer service ladies were amazing! Helped me go through the process, gave me tips and advice for me to get the truck fast and easy. Truck pick up man was ready and friendly. Drop off guy was above and beyond! I didn’t put the gas and he told me about how much more I would be paying if I don’t do it. Recommended me the nearest gas station, even advised me on how much to add to make sure I don’t go over what I had to add!!! Simple the best customer service ever!

The ladies in this company are so very helpful and have great customer services. They were helpful with all my needs and good with the size of truck I needed. Anthony is awesome he’s the guy that brings out the truck to you. Let me say these vehicles are so old fashioned and I had no idea what I was doing but Anthony helped me out with everything he explained everything to me and how to drive it and maneuvers it very well. I would definitely come back if needed it.

Great location! The staff are very nice and even when the station is closed you can still return your truck 24/7 and leave the key in the drop box, which is super convenient.

One of the best U-Haul's location staff are very friendly, big lot with mass varieties of Vans and Truck never run out of vehicles.

Really thought it was going to be a hassle but i was proven wrong. It went good... My friend booked a certain trailer which he noticed he had to switch n they made the switch with no issues at all. That guy outside also was a good help

THE STAFF WAS GREAT AND HELPFUL AND THE STORE SOLD PACKING SUPPLIES : BOXES, FOAM, BUBBLE WRAP, TAPES, HEAVY DUTY VINYL AND PLASTIC TARPS.

Extremely solid U-Haul place. Don't let the location scare you. It's a stone's throw from the 4/5 stop at 138 and Grand Concourse which is pretty convenient if you're coming from Manhattan. The folks that took care of my order were very friendly and helpful. This place runs an honest shop, which isn't easy to do given that U-Haul rentals getting stolen, destroyed, or not returned on time is commonplace in NYC. I rented a cargo van and it was well maintained and ran and handled excellently. Returned the van, they figured my mileage charges and had me on my way in 5 minutes.

The company I work for and my own personal business is why I use this location. Theres only one other location that compares to this and thats Manager Amandas store in yonkers. 383 Grand Concourse is an awesome location and convenient. Mickey, Sam,Anthony,Francesca and the rest of the team always make my experience a pleasant one when using my storage or renting a vehicle. If theres a problem they fix it. They are all courteous and extremely easy to work with. It makes choosing to deal with this location an easy one. Cudos to the team at 383 Grand Concourse

My experience at this location was greater than I expected, the customer service representative handled the rental very professional,kindness and with the human touch, I thought it was lost. 👍👍👍. Keep up

First time renting and driving a UHaul truck and it was great. Doris, one of the staff was able to help my cousin, her friend and I for the process of getting a truck. She was patient with us since we were so confused with the ongoing questions that were asking us to do. I felt safe and comfortable in the truck. Coming back, I parked the truck by Walton avenue (I believe that’s the name of the ave) and had to take pictures to confirm the truck was clean. I had To leave the keys in a key box.
Great experience, will rent a UHAUL again in this location.
