Tea House Asian Bistro

Dude. So good. Ridiculously tasty. It’s not like, ~upscale dining~, but it’s reliably good, really pretty, and super affordable sushi. Even after moving away, when I visit the capital region I always try to make a point to stop by.

Today was my first visit here and I have to say that Jimmy and his food were wonderful. He is a very friendly and knowledgeable owner and sushi chef. I ordered the platter for two, which was perfect. All of the sushi and cooked fish tasted great. It was a lot of very good food for the money. I will definitely be back sometime.

It is always outstanding. We love food from here. The service is, well ok. Friendly ish. They just busy. Atmosphere is, ok. It's a little, dark. Parking on both sides. Freshly painted inside. A little quirky. But you won't be disappointed in your meal. Hot tea is authentic. Portions are high. Sushi and regular dishes are very flavorful.

Always fresh high quality food. Very roomy dining room with plenty of parking. The lunch specials are a very good deal as you get a lot of variety, a large portion, and high quality for only $10. I wish they had a more extensive tea menu because I think all they have is Jasmine Green Tea. It is a high quality tea, but would be nice to have some oolongs, etc. Very friendly service. Great for a lunch with coworkers as well.

We enjoyed this restaurant enough to return. The food was beautifully presented and generously apportioned. The staff aim to please.

Hands down the best wonton soup and sweet and sour chicken I have EVER eaten!! The FRIED cheesecake we had for dessert was out of this world! Prices are super low and serving staff was very friendly! I didn't choose sushi this time, but their specialty rolls sound excellent and I can't wait to return to try other items!!! Definitely one of my new favorite restaurants in the area!!!!!

Absolutely delicious! I love love love sushi and this place has THE BEST. Their gyoza is also top notch and I love coming here. Staff are friendly and attentive and the food comes out super quickly. Make sure you check the specials board by the sushi station (on the right wall when you walk into the place).

I love this place and it's probably the most underrated restaurant in Delmar. The staff are super friendly and attentive (I've never seen my water run out there), and the food quality & selection can't be beat for their price range. It does take out and delivery to my knowledge, and is on grubhub. I think that's where most of their business must come from, but the interior is really nice. They have little window booths and larger tables - it's a great place to stop in for a casual lunch or dinner.

Had some amazing sushi and sashimi delivered from here last night. It was all very fresh and flavorful. Also enjoyed their hot and sour soup and harumaki. Can't wait to order again.

I usually order take out and it arrives on time and hot! The M80s are my favorite app! If you love spice you have to try these!!! General Taos chicken is always a good go to! I’ve done dine in a few times and had a pleasant experience but I love ordering take out for a lazy night in at home

I have been going to this Asian restaurant for a few years now. I have to say it's the best Asian in the albany area. The prices are great for the quality of food that you will receive. Every person I have told about this place has loved the food and raves that it is the best Asian cuisine in the area . The staff is also incredibly friendly and it is nice to support a family business .

I love that this is just 2 doors from my office. I love that it is easy to get vegan food here. Jimmy, Jenny and the other staff are warm and friendly and attentive. Whether doing paperwork by myself, or dining with friend or friends, it is always a comfortable and comforting experience.

Best sushi in Albany area. Owners are very nice and excellent hosts. Salt and pepper squid is delicious. They have a lot of creative dishes.

One of the very best places to eat around the area. Excellent food expertly prepared with great artistic flair by the owner. Wonderful flavors and large portions. Friendly staff and very reasonable prices. And no....I'm not related.☺

Really good food and friendly service too. My favorite is the m80 which is a fried jalapeño covered in huge amounts of crab meat. Jimmy makes some really creative sushi rolls too. Try it!
