Sal's Pizzeria

It's taken me three decades to find spaghetti and meatballs like this. It smelled faintly of bell pepper or fennel, but the taste is sublime, with complex layers & depth of flavor. Reminded me of my early days in New Jersey. Real down-home Italian but cooked with finesse. You can't get sauce like this from a jar. Sauce tastes like love. Also can't say enough about the crisp chewy gooey goodness of their slices; some of the best around, and the most reasonably priced. Service was fast, efficient & warm. Beats anything you can get anywhere else. I'm looking at you, Manhattan.

My first and def not last time. They didn’t have the upside down Sicilians ready but i went for the regular Sicilian which was very very good and delicious. Prices are reasonable and the guy that served me was very nice, polite and manner-full. Would def go back; can’t wait in fact!

I had the cheese Silician, which is pictured with several bites already taken, and it was great! The crust was thick yet fluffy. I really, really loved the crust!

The sauce at first tasted sweet to me but that went away. The cheese was layered on thick but was good.

At for the service, I was waited on immediately and didn't have a problem. But I also visited around 1230pm on a Sunday when the place wasn't busy.

Incredible old school spot. Not sure if they related to the one on dekalb avenue in bushwick. Both are awesome

Sal’s catered my event and everything was amazing. The wings, pasta, calamari and pizza were good and my guest enjoyed it. I asked for delivery and they got their 15mins early and the delivery guy was helpful. Will order from again.

Sal's has the best tasting pizza in Williamsburg- hands down! I've been going there for about a decade. I grab slices before going into my favorite bar in the neighborhood. That great sauce and cheese recipe and thin crispy bottom slice has me fantasizing about it so much that I never go more than a couple of weeks without popping in and getting a couple of slices. I also ask for pepperoni and sausage on the same slices. So good! If you love pizza, come to Sal's.

Really good pizza. Bf thought the crust was a bit too crispy but I like it that way. Also, I left my bag in the pizzeria when we left, and the employee came out chasing after us to return it. THANK YOU!!!

I grew up on this stuff. Always clutch. Grandma slice, margarita and classic cheese and are my favorite.

Favorite pizza place in the neighborhood. I always run in here for a slice and a tecate, because I'm cheap. But I've seen ppl grab entire pizzas and bottles of wine. They always have a few beers on tap, too. Same guys have been here since I can remember. It's an entire mix of ppl that eat here. This ones for the localsssss

Oh my, the pizza here is simply glorious whilst the staff are a lovely bunch. You have to try it. If you're having a glass of wine the Chianti is pretty good.

If you’re looking authentic NYC pizza this is definitely the place. It’s been a neighborhood staple of Williamsburg since 1967.

This is Brooklyn version for 99cent pizza. An historic place for pizza lovers. So delicious. Makes all kind of pizza with all kinds of toppings (broccoli). Very cheap (although it’s not 99cent a slice), and a nice place to sit as well.

I went and ordered a pizza roll here for the first time. It was $7, but it was a great size! It came with a side of marinara sauce, which was a seller for me because a lot of places make you pay extra for it. Great sized pieces of chicken in the roll, just enough cheese to be cheesy and I thoroughly enjoyed that the ends were crispy/crunchy and still edible. I would buy this roll again.

Sal's has new management, but the recipes are the same. Delicious pizza 🍕 and dinner plates satisfying. I love it.🤩

One of the best pizzas ever, specially the thin crust Sicilian salad pizza is the best. We drive all the way from New Jersey (more than an hour drive) for this delicious pizza. Staff is very curtious and welcoming. Definitely deserves 5 star.

Sal is very personable and professional. His staff knows the value of customer service and they also behave in a proffessional manner. The pizza is Amazing! The place is always clean, the bathroom is always clean and there's always a theme on display on their windows. I love going to Sal's, it has always made me feel welcome.

Probably the best pizza place in the neighborhood, not only for taste, but also for price. Skip Carmine's and head over here. This is the only pizza place in Williamsburg that sells actual PIZZA and not cheesy, grease-dripping bread triangles. Also, if you like Grandma/Sicilian pizza (as I do), these guys can't be beat. Great atmosphere, great food, great price, and great service. How could you go wrong?
