My family has been buying from here for so many years. Valencia cakes were always included in our holidays and birthdays. Every occasion was a Valencia cake and Valencia ice cream moment. The mixed cookies just YUM! ALWAYS FRESH. The guava powdered puffs are great as well. Super fresh! Whatever the occasion, Valencia has the cake for you.

Been over 40 years since I visited, my Wife insisted on me having a Valencia Birthday Cake. I wasn't going to argue, I had moved away and was back after so long. The service was excellent, cake was just like I remember. Would recommend everyone to go there!!!

I've been going here since I was a child. I love the makeover of the inside of the store. There are so many more options to choose from, which always brings you back to try new desserts. I just wish the guava pastellios had more guava in them. Everything was DELICIOUS!

My wife hasn't had a Valencia cake since she was a kid, and always talked about wanting one.

Placed an order over the phone a week prior, and the cake was made on the morning of pickup.

Service was great, and the cake was phenomenal. My wife cried, she was so happy.

I always go here for my birthday cakes. The prices have went up a bit but if you like sweets this is the best place to get some. They been in business for a long time and it's a family tradition for my family to have a Valencia cake. I even buy a cake for my family when I travel to visit in Kentucky. The cakes are always fresh and if you are unhappy and your cake is not fresh they will give you a new fresh cake. This place is my favorite bakery and I truly recommend this place.

My family and I have Been buying our cakes here for years. It's become a tradition to have. From birthday to baby shower etc it's been from Valencia. 2 generation going strong and they always make sure their clients have the best in taste and the cake looks beautiful. This location has received a well deserved face lift. The location interior has been given a fresh coat of paint and new display cases have been added. The cakes are all still made the same, fresh and DELICIOUS. Very happy to see this establishment is still running strong for the next generation to indulge in.

Omg they still got it, I’ve been eating this cake for years and moved. When I was in the area I ordered a 6” and it was still amazing. From pineapple to guava add their vanilla ice cream and enjoy. To order guava or other special flavors call a day in advance.

This bakery has been the family favorite for years. I visited them for Mother’s Day and they had a wide variety of pastries and cakes ready for one’s liking. The cakes were delicious and fresh. The bakers made ideal gifts for my family and neighbors. Valencia is No. 1 in my family!! I always visit when I am in NY from PR.

This location is a diamond in the rough! Don't drive too fast down Edgewater Rd or you just might miss it. The staff there are super nice. It's clean and the displays are in your face and more importantly, clean and easy to see. Prices are right and I just found out that they sell my favorite cakes with my favorite fillings "by the slice".

Best bakery and old school tradition!! Can’t beat the Bronx for there original cake spot !

Valencia cakes have been my favorite since I was a child. I was so happy when they opened a location close to the Verrazano Bridge on 4th avenue since I now live in Staten Island. The owner there is very nice and I no longer have to travel to the Bronx or East New York. For this occasion I took a picture of the cake I wanted to the 4th avenue location and the cake came out beautiful. It exceeded my expectations and was reasonably priced for the amount of cake provided. One of my guests said that if it would have been a Dominican cake (they charge by the pound) it would have been well over $900 so $350 for this cake was a great price and it included the beautiful roses.There were over a dozen. The cake was fresh and the pineapple filling, which is my favorite, was delicious.

Still the hidden GEM.. Strawberry shortcake. OMG is all I can say!!!

The one at Hunts Point is a trip you don't want to take. There are two other stores but forget about parking. It's a Thanksgiving tradition so....

Valencia Bakery ‘s have been part of my life since my first 16th birthday. I am now 64 on many occasions I am I don’t know who thought of it but they make it I half cake you could purchase one that’s all you need. Reasonable so I keep coming back many years later. Oh they even made my wedding cake.🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩
