The hearing test was very thorough and the introduction to the hearing aid itself. I have called twice with questions since I got mine about six months ago and both times the person who answered the phone knew exactly what to do. I tried several places that do tests and sell hearing aids and Sussex was by far the most professional and friendly. I'm very pleased.

Wonderful experience. Staff is very friendly and always welcoming. Beth was fantastic. I have never had such a thorough hearing test. She really took the time to explain every test she did and go over several options to help with my hearing. Ultimately I decided on moving forward with hearing aids. Beth was kind enough to lend me a trial pair. There was a hold up with my insurance but Beth let me hold on to the pair until mine came in. She definitely cares about her patients . I have been working with Sussex Audiology for several years. The staff is incredibly helpful and pleasant. Beth has done several examinations on my hearing and really takes the takes the time to make sure it is right. She offers advice as to which aides would be most beneficial and in my case has gone the extra mile in working with me to resolve an issue on my behalf. As far as i'm concerned there could be no better place to go for a true hearing professional.

Unfortunately we had a negative experience with Sussex Audiology and would not recommend them. My pediatrician suggested my daughter get a Central Auditory Processing test done due to struggles in school. I scheduled an appointment with them, clearly stating we needed a CAP test. I even asked specifics such as whether or not I would get a definitive yes or no as to whether she had a central auditory processing issue and they told me yes- right on the spot they could tell me yes or no. The earliest appointment I could book was about a month and a half-2 months later. So I left work early and got her there hoping to get some answers after all that waiting. I filled out the paperwork (here for CAP testing), gave them the script from the pediatrician (states "perform CAP testing), sat through the entire hearing test....and THEN, the audiologist tells me she isn't able to do a CAP screening and I'll have to go to a specialist. I see it still says they can perform this testing on their website. Apparently, they cannot and have no shame in wasting patients time and money. Beware!
