My daughter attends this daycare and they are absolutely amazing. They take great care of her, she’s learned a ton and they have great cooks in the kitchen. She is always raving about how good her lunches are! We will miss them when she starts kindergarten next year!

My children (3&6) had an amazing experience here I was very comfortable leaving them especially being away from my hometown they made my kids feel welcomed which put me at ease and if there was ever an incident they were very communicative with me and attentive with them. I can’t thank the staff and especially my children’s teachers for the amount of support and love they gave for the year my kids attended. Unfortunately, we relocated but i whole heartedly recommend Family Circle 💛

Family Circle is amazing. The staff have been so kind, thoughtful, and loving to our kiddos. It is a relief to know our kids are safe, happy and learning while we are at work. We love FCLC!

This was my little’s first daycare. I felt confident leaving my infant in the care of the teachers here. I loved them meals that my child received and I feel like my little is a better eater because of the food she was exposed to at daycare. The kids were kept busy through play-based activities that were meaningful to them. We unfortunately moved out of the area and had to switch daycares, but I would recommend Family Circle in Renton to parents looking for quality childcare.

I have trusted this staff to care for my kids which I truly do. When it comes to daycares you can never really be to sure. I am glad I can say I know my kids are in good hands. I have an 8 year old who did summer care here which he loved they went on alot of field trips so they are not just sitting inside all day which I loved. I have a 2 year old who also attends & she loved it right away & adjusted pretty while she has her daycare grandma which is what we call her! My child started in the waddler classroom & went up to toddlers which was a little adjustment but the toddler teachers made her feel very welcomed. I also have a 5 month old in the infant classroom which I vauled I would never put my kids in this young I cried but Michelle helped me with the whole process & so far I love it! Erica is one of the infant teachers & I absoutley love her she gives me updates & she pays attention to the little details I tell her about. I espically love Trina & Garnnet they really try their best to help you has much as possible they are all like family to me & I appreciate them for their services & dedication. I would not want my kids anywhere else.

W WA "Winter Storm Warning" on 26dec2021 .. i can't stay cooped up indoors .. so at ~10:00, 30s_F and snowing, i went for a walk-about (~2 miles 1.5 hr) - a CW Loop (from/to) Family Circle Learning Center .. Lovely wintery snow sceneries .. 👍

Saw a few people out and about; a few children playing in the snow, a person walking his dog, .. and there's a ATV spinning around for fun in the Church parking lots 😆 On 3 separate occasions, i saw vehicle(s) having difficulties when they were driving up the "hill" (only a Grade ~10 deg) snow-covered road .. 😅 In the first 2 cases, passer-bys stopped and helped pushed, or towed the vehicle(s) .. and got these stuck vehicles on its way. For the 3rd case, i joined another 2 passer-bys to get the 3rd vehicle moving again

The morning snowing ended ~13:00 .. probably had 3" - 6" of snow accumulation ..👍

My kid's went there for years! I would say 90% of the teachers they circulated through, I absolutely loved! The office staff is nice and they have a really awesomely laid out facility. I would definitely recommend this place.

I remember being a kid here and they would only allow one book during nap time which was lame for kids like me who couldn't sleep. However from the bits and pieces of my experience that I still remember, it wasn't too bad. Shout-out to that lady who taught us a polish song about a cat

DO NOT BRING YOUR SPECIAL NEEDS CHILD HERE! I had high hopes when my children first started here unfortunately they were not met. They left my autistic child at school on his second day and did not notify me at all of the incident. My son was left long enough to be the last child there and the school had called both myself AND the facility before he was picked up. Had the school not called I would have never known until my son told me. The school pick up and drop off is not a difficult place to manage and the fact that he was left blows my mind. I've been to pick up myself. They are incapable of noticing when a child is tired and instead blames it'on their disability which only shows when completely overwhelmed and overstimulated resulting in violence. They had concerns about my child and never once spoke to me about it. Even after speaking to them every single day from the first time I met the director they told me I had never told them about my son's diagnosis. They lost my payment forms with my credit card information and made me late for work insisting that I was lying, never turned it in and wouldn't watch my kids until I filled it out again right then. If you are even a second late they will charge you. I was never more than 5 minutes late for pick up driving from Seattle. . If you stand up for your child this is not the place for you. The director absolutely takes no responsibility for her attitude and incapability to be an active listener.

I am not one to typically write reviews, but I hope to save another parents grief in dealing with this poorly managed child care center. I have unfortunately had my daughter enrolled at Family Circle for nearly five years, and like most two-parent working setups, daycare was our last/only option. After skimming through several previous reviews, I would agree that in the beginning I was optimistic and the staff was friendly and forthright. I honestly trusted many of the employees who were actually watching over the kids, and I knew they were doing their best to finesse a room full of energetic children and navigate all the unexpected waters that will bring.

I ran into one such of these employees in a grocery store about a year ago, our conversation led to her telling me that she no longer works for FC. When I asked why, she was very clear in stating that management creates a "toxic" and "unhealthy" working environment, so much that she decided to leave. I sensed this prior to speaking with this former employee.

During my daughter's tenure, I had several challenging discussions with a Trina Humphries, the Business Manager. As a customer, no matter the business, I rightfully expect to deal with friendly and open/understanding staff, especially those in leadership positions. Trina had a special way of making me feel like a bother anytime I had questions or any needs at all; even before conversing, she seemed to always be on the attack and dismissive of anything I said. During these aggravating talks, I would regularly be talked over and interrupted when simply trying to convey my side. I believe it would be very hard to be a good listener when all you are doing is formulating a response while the other speaks.

In short, our typical encounters were due to financial disagreements, whereas I believe a customer should pay for services provided, and she held her authoritative power to collect based off of misunderstandings and technicalities/formalities. I never felt satisfied as a customer of FC after our dealings.

For those parents who are forced to look into childcare for their little ones, I respectfully advise looking somewhere else and saving yourself the buyers remorse. There are many other child care centers to explore in the area, I would avoid FC at all costs.

As far as the owners scripted response that will shortly follow this post: The predictable lines in attempt to save face with anyone reviewing the comment section are irrelevant to me personally. I am giving you the perspective of a long-term customer who has had dealings with your team over the last five years, I truly have no gripe with the majority of the staff, just the aforementioned occurrences. I hope to never set foot in the building again specifically due to the one employee.

I would simply suggest speaking with all of the staff about their honest relationship with management to see for yourself. Also, a customer-based relations training for anyone stationed in the front office probably wouldn't hurt. It is a very unnerving feeling to leave your child in the care of a business whos face-to-face manager is naturally confrontational.

My toddler was on the waiting list for a whole year. Finally the daycare reached out this month (May 2020) and said they have an opening but because of the Covid things are a little different. I understood what they meant because everyone is going through the same thing and safety has been a big concern. My child was supposed to start on the 18th but I received a call last week saying his teacher was leaving on an absence and they did not know when the return would be. So I was told they would look to see if he could be in another classroom and she would give me a call back by the end of the day....NO CALL BACK... The Manager/Director Michelle is very rude and unprofessional. She never returned my call from last week. I called this morning and she took no responsibility until I got upset. When I got upset she proceeded to give me 1 word answers as if she was upset with me. I asked her why she was giving me 1 word answers, she said I did answer you and that it seemed as if she were upset and if anything I should be the one upset RIGHT.. I have the right..no returned call, on the waitlist for a year, teacher in absence and everything and she has the nerve to be upset with me and say it sounds like I want to argue..WOW people really amaze me.. she apologized for not calling back but had an attitude because I had an attitude..then Ofcourse when I asked her who the manager was she LAUGHED and said it sounded like I want to argue...and Ofcourse when I asked Michelle who the manager was and she said herself she was even more rude..you can always tell when management is in position..smh...I’m disgusted with this daycare and will never send my child here not give a referral..they deserve all zero’s. I hope this place gets under new management that will uphold the company name with better respect then this manager. I am a Mom of 2 and my child has been out of daycare for almost 4 months so u can only imagine my pain...everything happens for a reason and from the beginning it was mess. I should’ve listened to my gut. My child deserves better. If they act like that to me l, what will the do to my baby..NO THANK YOU....God bless.. I hope everyones being safe..have a great day😊

The customer service is HORRIBLE! My son came there for 2 weeks (the 1st week was ok) the 2nd week, he got sick and they requested to have a doctor note for him to come back as they were afraid that he had pink eye. We took him to a doctor to confirm that he didn't have pink eye! Instead of taking him back, we decided keeping him home for 2 days to rest and also not spread the germs to other kids. He came back the week after that with a doctor note, came there late after 10am as he was still tired, we gave him breakfast at home. When we came to the class, we let them know that he was there, waiting for them to take him. Instead of asking how was he doing and welcome back, The Japanese teacher took his bag and said "he couldn't stay, he was late!" We tried to explain why we were late but she denied to listen and was very aggressive with her statement that "He couldnt stay"! Then the Business Manager stepped in , was very aggressive "We followed the rule, you had to take him home as it was past 10am" "we were enforcing the rule!". and continued to show their bad approach, no matter what we tried to explain! The Director then explained to us and said "its was ok for this time, but next time not drop off after 10am" We decided not continuing to bring our kid to this daycare anymore after seeing how aggressive, bad customer service that those 2 staff approached to us. They are the ones who are working in Education but they can't listen and not even one time think about why he was late. How could we trust them to educate our kid? Not with their Aggressiveness, strict like military!. You are teachers, you should be the one who are patient enough to listen, approach us in a nice way with calm and showing your sympathy and caring. NOPE! Those 2 staff just acted unprofessional and showing how strict they are! It would not go this way, if they in the first place at least asking how was our kid doing, did he get better and explained to us that do not drop off after 10 am next time, then it would be a different story! What if the parents had a flat tire on the way to daycare or was in an accident that's why he was late. They have a good program to educate children but their behaviors, characters to react to the situation was UNACCEPTABLE. They are still young, they are supposed to daycare to enjoy and have fun , learn from their teachers but the MILITARY concept. Would you want your kids to go there and have fun or learn things but STRICT AGGRESSIVE, CARELESS from those teachers? I even observed that Japanese teacher, she seemed nice at his first day but after that everytime we dropped him off, she never said GOOD MORNING or nothing, she let us stand there for 2 minutes then she said to me " can you take him to wash his hands?" I dont know what is the routine at dropping off as we were new, so instead of welcoming and let us know what to do - not wasting our time standing there while she just tried to ignore us. SUCH A BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE and BAD TEACHER

Horrible customer service! Told me that my daughter wouldn't be accepted back into their care after being told that i can came by and sign paper work. All because "They felt like they couldn't meet my families needs" and when I asked them to explain they blatantly told me that they're not going to go into specifics. Excuse me? If you decide to turn away a child, fine. Just tell me what was the REAL ISSUE.
