Cardinal Hayes High School for Boys

Admittedly I'm out of touch. I graduated in 1967, The education back then was superlative. I sailed through my first year of college on the knowledge I received at Hayes. ON A PERSONAL NOTE: I am looking for any information on Keith J. Scully '67. He died around 1968. I would like to know how he died and where he's buried. Thanks in advance.

I graduated from Cardinal Hayes in 1973. I had to work a job to ensure that I would be able to pay the tuition. And while I am now retired after a successful life in law enforcement, my four sons grew up hearing that the best present I ever gave myself but my education at Cardinal Hayes high School.

They ight at sport but like the trancedening thought of reaching through the school, but yeah like when you go to the side but like it seen, you know what I mean. Education is just for spirituality growth so you know good to express relief for me so when playing the game from watching distance from the start I can start from the bottom and go to the sky. But you know that going to school is essential so it a good experience!

My greatest investment. I could never stress this enough, this school spends every dollar on their students. My son spend the best 4 h.s years of his life as a Hayesman! He loved his school, his lifelong friendships and connections are forever. He went on to study in Iowa State, if not for Cardinal Hayes only God knows where my son would be today. Special thanks to Father Tierny and Mr Badillo who helped my son Stanley become the man he is today. I will forever be greatful!

Graduated '63! Best experience, guided me thru life, set me on a path to a successful career in IT Systems Engineering. The discipline I learned there helped my with my service in the US Navy. I laughed off boot camp after 4 years at Hayes.

Graduated from Hayes in 1971. Hated it at first, but learned to accept the rules and loved it by the time I left. Taught responsibility and discipline (sometimes that hurt). Great school and would have sent my son there if we were in the area.

I graduated from Hayes in 1962 - it was the foundation of my success in the Marines, in business and in life. A great school in a tough neighborhood.

No one will ever confuse Hayes with Regis High School or Bronx High School of Science but for 60+ years Hayes has played an important role in providing a unique educational opportunity to young men in the Bronx and Manhattan.

Up Hayes and all it's loyal men... Infamous Class of '84. Unique is an understatement this place is a foundation in NYC Catholic education.

For the google user's son who had his iphone stolen.... guess what ? NO phones should be allowed to be take to school. If so... its dont at your own risk!!!!

Don't blame the school for a poor choice making by a Parent and Student. That's too easy, and not fair. There are bad apples in any school, even schools up in Riverdale!

Best Boys Catholic school! Deeply grateful for my sons experience there , I was actually sad he graduated!! UpHayes!!!!

Great school which established the base needed as a young man to transition into adulthood. Go Cardinals !
