Pure Ink Tattoo Studio

I got an amazing tattoo tonight, however I had a medical emergency right after. The staff was incredibly helpful and caring and were able to get me back to normal. Thank you all so much for helping me! It is greatly appreciated. Also, the tattoo is really sick and I love it.

I had an amazing experience at Pure Ink. It was my first tattoo and had the pleasure of having Bethany do it for me. She was awesome to work with. Great conversation. She made me feel comfortable and her enthusiasm was absolutely refreshing. She took her time and listened to any concerns I had. Front desk staff was great too. I highly recommend Pure Ink! And if you have the opportunity to work with Bethany, jump on it! Love my Tat!!

I started going to Pure Ink in December. After viewing the portfolios of each artist, I chose Joanna to be my artist as our styles aligned the most. I was very nervous, as this was my first tattoo and I didn't know what to expect. Joanna quickly made me feel at ease, as she was very knowledgeable and helpful. I was also nervous about the pain, but she made the process so easy and comfortable through pleasant conversation. She listened to the ideas I brought and truly created a work of art. She has done my first two tattooos (please see the photos below) and I love both of them. I have received many complements on my tattoos and I am proud to display them. Shannon at the front desk was also very personable and informative on the whole process. Along with the other artists, Shannon and Joanna make the shop a very inviting and fun place to be. If you need any tattoos done, please look no further than Pure Ink Tattoo, as there are many talented artists here. I'm looking forward to getting many more tattoos done by Joanna in the future!

I got a tattoo done with John today and it came out really cool. I totally recommend coming here and getting a tattoo here. SUPER clean and everyone is very nice and cool here.

This was my first tattoo and it was exceptional! I had such a wonderful experience. My brother and I went together to get matching tattoos. Jeremy was very helpful, he walked us through how everything was going to work. Brandon was our fabulous tattoo artist. He was very patient and gentle with me which I so appreciate. His line work is great and he’s very attentive. We had good laughs & connected, he also held good conversations. He has a good spirit about him. Overall my brother and I had a great time. Def will be returning. 10/10 recommend! 🖤

So let me start off by saying my first Tattoo by the Infamous Danny Pain was 19 years ago. Well, two kids, a wife and about 35 pounds later I find out Danny has the most absolutely awesome studio in Ledgewood, NJ. So I call them up and speak to the receptionist Maya. My first opinion right off the bat was wow this is super professional. I felt like I was making a doctors appointment as I immediately received texts and emails updating me about the appointment I had made with the Uber professional Maya. Maya had made a recommendation based upon my wife and I availability for Joanna. I already new that any team handpicked by Danny Pain would be kick ass…little did I know what I had signed up for. Joanna our artist who is 13 years my junior is super professional and has a portfolio backing up her creative ability. If your into Neo Traditional and want a hard working young woman with drive and passion Joanna is your woman. She is all about her artwork and her customers, constantly asking how I’m feeling and making any adjustments if need be. No adjustments needed to be made as she is very tender handed and a truly skilled artisan. I even had some questions about tattoo placement and her recommendations were spot on. 10 out of 10.

Bethany is wonderful! I have gotten a few tattoos before this from other places, mostly flash tattoos, but she did my first custom tattoo. The line work and shading came out amazing, and the overall experience was relaxing. Super nice & easy to talk to. Thanks again!

Great !!! Job!! My tattoo complete by Bobby G. He's awesome!! Very clean inside, bright, and a good atmosphere. Complete professional I had an immediate consultation and was able to get it done that day!! Took about 3.5 hours and very happy on how it turn out. I will be back!!

I've been here a few times and meant to write a review. The staff is all awesome, and really friendly. They make sure your appointments are set, and send you friendly reminders.

My artist Ian does some amazing work. You can bring a tattoo idea and he will give you the honest truth on your idea and modify as necessary which is something I appreciate since this will be on you forever! I look forward to getting more tattoos done by Ian in the future.

Bethany did my wedding band tattoo and the words “Til Death” across my knuckles. She is awesome and such a sweet person! I highly recommend her work to anyone, you will not be disappointed! Can’t wait to have her do more work on me! Thank you Bethany I love the tats!

Bethany was fantastic to work with, and I have already recommended her to my own friends and family. Bethany tattooed a custom skeleton riding a wave for me (my 6th tattoo, first with Bethany and pure ink), and my sons name in cursive. She also took great care of my sister in law, who came in for a small memorial tattoo as her very first tattoo. Bethany was both incredibly nice and easy going, and went above and beyond to create a welcoming environment for us. The line work, shading, and attention to detail all came together to create a price of art that brought my idea for this tattoo to an whole new level that I did not next expect!
