Lloyd's Carrot Cake

I ordered 2 slices of carrot 🥕 🎂 from this restaurant and both slices got destroyed. The cake was very moist and the cream cheese topping was good. They give you a nice size slice for the price. I definitely will recommend this place to friends and family. Support this business.

What can I say? The best carrot cake hands down. Fresh , moist not dry, melts in your mouth cake. The best.

What a cute place, authentic and the cakes are so yummy. The place is not so big, and the staff members are so friendly. The aroma of the cake is super pleasant!

I ordered food next door at Tortoise & Hare and got Lloyd's Carrot Cake for dessert.
The carrot cake was SO GOOD. I liked that there weren't any nuts or raisins in this one. Very moist cake and yummy, not overly sweet cream cheese frosting. Wish it tasted more like cream cheese but I also am a cream cheese fanatic! I just saw on Google Maps that they have a Manhattan location, too! I can't wait to go there and try their Red Velvet (my fave kind of cake) and see what other desserts they have 🤗

Honestly, I usually buy Lloyd’s carrot cakes or red velvet cakes for a holiday, a big family gathering! This is also when I am so stuffed that I can enjoy it…

Yet this week I was passing by, so how could I not stop in???
I picked up a small carrot cake with raisins and walnuts.
Then I had to invite family over!

It is- just as always fantastic!
It was our only dessert for the six of us, and there were still some left over!

Fresh & delicious. Have been there twice now and it tasted better today. We had the carrot cake with nuts and raisins. It was iced right in front of us and was still warm. Also tried the chocolate cupcakes. Delicious and so fresh! You really need to try their cakes. Worth the trip.

GOAT in terms of service and the cakes! the employees are all so sweet, and the cakes are to die for. i bought their classic carrot cake for a dinner party and it was a hit! i’m definitely coming back here for all my party cake needs :)

The carrot cake and the carrot muffins are so delicious, you will surely go back for more.
They have two versions of the carrot cake, one with walnuts and raisins, and one without. I gobbled up the cake so fast I did not get a picture of it.

Lloyd's Carrot Cake Bakery is an iconic landmark located on Broadway in the Riverdale section of the Bronx.
The bakery has been in business for more than three decades.
You will usually see a lot of people going in and out of the bakery because it is a popular place.
Entering the bakery you will be greeted by friendly staff and a pleasant orange and white theme.
Across the street there is Van Cortlandt park, a nice place to relax and enjoy your carrot cake.

Lloyd's Carrot Cake Bakery really is "Bakers Of The World's Finest Carrot Cake" as it says on the bag.
If you have never been there before I really recommend you go.

Delightful, delectable homemade cakes and cupcakes... everything is made from scratch...you will never buy plain old store bought cake after eating Lloyd's Carrot Cake...just Yum to the 10th degree!!! It's worth the trip to Broadway just across the street from Van Cortland Park.

Hands down the best carrot cake you’ll ever eat. It’s absolutely bursting with flavor from the delicious cream cheese frosting and cake’s natural ingredients.

The perfect carrot cake. I appreciate that the individual slices are a generous but not gluttonous size. Love the +nuts and raisins version for the added textures but would never turn down the one without. Can’t wait to try the other cakes 🤤

MELT IN YOUR MOUTH GOODNESS! Best carrot cake I’ve ever had in my life. They have cake slices and 6”, 8”, or 10” cakes ready when you walk in and the people are great. Overall wonderful experience and amazing cake! 10/10 highly recommend

Best carrot cake ever! You need to try their carrot cake. It's so moist and flavorful! You have the option of getting it with or without nuts and raisins. There was just the right amount of icing on the cake.

When I walked in and saw all of the orders waiting to be picked up I knew I was on to something. As soon as I stepped out and tasted the cake I sent my mother in to get more. These cakes are amazingly delicious.

I've only had pleasant experiences with the staff at this place and the carrot cake is so good it's hard to have carrot cake from anywhere else. They are the elite when it comes to carrot cakes.

I have never been to Lloyd’s until today, and let’s just say…I WILL BE BACK!!!
The cake is super moist and not too sweet, it is just perfect. You can taste the love and care that went into making it. The prices are super reasonable and the staff is as sweet as the desserts. I would recommend to anyone and everyone!

My 2nd time coming to this delicious goodies! al usually the person that take your order very nice and very delicious carrot cake. It's nice riding your bike and stopping here and eat it across the street at vancortland park.

Finally got the chance to try their carrot cake 🍰 which I have been hearing from my teammates and it came out to be true. It’s so delicious. I enjoyed every bite of it. Would like to try their other products too.
