Ray's Barbershop is my go-to spot for over three years now, and I've always had a great experience. Mark's service is top-notch, and the atmosphere is always nice. Highly recommended for anyone looking for great cuts.

I’ve been going to Ray’s for the 2 years I’ve been living in Manhattan and have had a great experience so far. I feel the quality of cuts is very high and they are also flexible to discussing different hair styles and pros and cons of different choices. The facility is also very clean and nice which makes visiting very enjoyable. My barber has also suggested new ideas like blending scissor cuts and different razor levels to make better side fades than either alone can provide.

Ray’s Barber shop is great. I have been coming for more than two years, and have had a great experience every time. The staff is friendly and accommodating and I highly recommend coming in for your next haircut. Also conveniently located near many express subways. Ask for Mark!

This is the absolute best barbershop I have ever been to. They treat you with the upmost respect and never fail to give you what you ask for. Come to rays barbershop they will not disappoint.

One of the things I love most about NYC is that you can walk into any well rated barber shop and get a top-quality haircut. I was a walk-in. I got a trim before attending a wedding, and it was excellent.

This is a real deal barbershop for men. Have been a few times prior but long overdue it is that I give these professionals the praise they deserve. I walked in early morning and Mark jumped up to ready his chair for my cut while I hung my jacket up. He was friendly, attentive, and an obvious master of his craft. I could tell he took great pride in his service and his ability to give me a masterful hair cut. And that he did. He gave me the best hair cut I've gotten in a while. He will be my guy, now. This is where gentlemen go to get their hair cut by top notch barbers. A+

Ray's is a great spot for a reliably great haircut. I've been coming here consistently for the past year and couldn't be more pleased. It's very convenient (super easy to walk in without an appointment), fair priced, and consistent quality across multiple barbers.

Favorite barber shop in the city! I've been going for about 3 years and gotten a cut from almost every barber. They're all super friendly and experienced and I get a fresh and consistent cut every time (I have asian male hair). They're also very efficient and you don't have to wait too long even if there is a line. The owner Ray and several of the most experienced barbers are also there every single day - true dedication to the craft!

Best Barbershop in Manhattan, period!!! No appointments needed either, just walk in and the place is super clean. Everyone is friendly and extremely talented. Ask for Ray, he’s fast and gave me probably the best cut ever. This will be my new go-to barbershop.

I recently moved to the city and went on here on a whim after seeing all the great reviews. Needless to say, Valerie who cut my hair at this location was incredibly professional, quick, but also took her time to make sure everything laid the way it should and made the refinement trims that make all the difference in a good haircut. 100% worth the price and 100% will be going back! Highly recommend if you need a new barber or a quick cut while in the city.

Yesterday was my first visit to Ray's. I did not have an appointment, but Mark greeted me at the door and escorted me promptly to his chair. I am very pleased with my haircut and feel that Mark did an excellent job. I used to patronize a "fancy" barber in Brookfield Place, but I will be going to Ray's from now on. Fair prices, fast and friendly service, and a great cut.

Spontaneously went here for the first time and it was amazing! Walked in with no appointment, it smelled great, was very clean, stylish and had basically a 5 minute wait. Ray cut my hair, who was very professional, quick and considerate! It was like he knew my hair for years, with the amount of speed and precision he had while doing my fade. Highly recommend.

Been coming to Ray's for a few months now, and am very pleased with the service. Mark is my barber, and he's top notch. He's always laser focused when he's working on my hair, which is what I prefer. For comparison, I once had a barber snip a part of my ear with his scissors while angrily talking about his ex-wife.

I never have to worry about being butchered by Mark. He's a pro.
