My son went to St. Raymond was the best thing i ever invested in I did not have to worry about the school like my other kids went to Public School had a horrible experience. My son Angel enjoyed all us 4 years in St. Raymond. Went on to College and now he his in Stony Brook. If i had to do it all again i would do the same thing had my son go to this school which he did enjoy going every single day Thank You St. Raymond

I attended St. Raymond's for the last two years of high school & am still a very active alumnus in the community. Education is what you make of it, and I took what I was being taught at that school very seriously, and came out with many full scholarship offers, having accepted an offer from Babson College in the end. Aside from the education, it was my second home where I met my current best friends and built great relationships with the faculty who still help me when needed, today. Mr. Sturgis is probably the greatest guidance counselor of all time. He believed in my potential and helped me land my first internship, which triggered a myriad of successful endeavors from there. Mr. Wirchansky was a great math teacher and was the reason I excelled in my business courses. Mr. McCauley was a wise & outstanding English teacher, with genuine concern for his students in and out of the classroom; also the reason that my writings and anecdotes have been complimented on many occasions. Mr. Musto's history class was extremely entertaining and triggered much of the patriotism I have today. Though lacking much artistic ability, I did appreciate the lessons and artistic inprovements offered by Mr. Mouzon's class. The extracurriculars were entertaining and kept me out of trouble. The principal at the time, Br. Daniel Gardner, made a tremendous effort to improve the school, both tangibly and intangibly; the school you see when you walk in there today is a result of his hard work, with an extra push from alumni who help fund improvements, as well. Mr. Sedia, though not fondly remembered by the wrongdoers and ignorant students, was actually a great dean who always wanted what was best for the students and the image of the school; rules had been set in the handbook and he was merely the enforcer. Even if you were a pain in the butt, once an alumni, he left all of that behind and befriended you. Mrs. McDonald was like a second mom to me & has helped me on a million & one occasions since graduation between the Marine Corps and college transfers. My friends and I would attend the basketball and baseball games to support our brothers who played on the teams; school pride was at an all-time high in 2008. This school offered me much more than the other two schools I attended, combined. As you can tell from the writing above, my Raven pride is hard to match.
