Belmont Branch, New York Public Library

Nice public library close to Bronx Little Italy with work computers, Wifi, thousands of books, ample seating, restrooms and friendly staff. There a good amount of public events happening here week for people of each age group.

They have books from all genres and nice collection of Italian and different world languages books. They also have a lot of books on Immigration and citizenship tests for immigrants to read.

I love my library. Things of course have changed but its really a cute library.

Belmont Branch NY Public Library was a movie theater years ago when I was a child growing up here. All the neighborhood kids called it, "The Dumps." As as kids we lucked out having a movie theater just blocks away and lucked out now that it is a public library with everything one needs for research, free internet access, internet hotspot connection, printing, children's section, adult section, several diverse classes for the myriad of needs within the ethnically mixed blended community, community board meetings on occasions, movies days/nights and much more.

I love this library and have been going on and off for years. The staff has always been super friendly and have gone out of their way to answer my questions. The place is always pretty clean and it's one of very few libraries I've gone into that I actually feel comfortable in.

Exceptionally wonderful library for, not only the Bronx but, the entire NYC area.

Although maintains an incredible Italian culture, but basically has transformed into a living kaleidoscope of a most wonderful multi-cultural center of all Americans.

And the Librarians, are always extremely helpful and knowledgeable, with everyone and the entire area.
They, the Librarians, have always been an enormous help, not only to myself, but most everyone.
And always, outstandingly professional.

I find the comments about the black librarian hilarious because she is always so attentive to me and my children I'm assuming that's because we are black? Because I seen a comment that said she always seems to help a certain type of people I'm assuming you were referring to African American people since she always helps me.. That actually makes me love her more lol love this library definitely our home away from home

I have been using this library since I was in middle school. This library is a great part of the community and has great resources. For example, I was helped by Mr. Kabir in making my resume look very professional. He gave me tips and advice on what to add and helped me format so much information onto one page. It is a great place to think and get work done.

I made an appointment with a Gentleman by the name Kabir to have my resume worked on, and he did an awesome job. He was patient, informative and very helpful. I am grateful for his time and professionalism. i would definitely recommend anyone to make an appointment with him so they can have their resume perfected.

Mr. Kabir was exceptional in getting my resume so nicely done and well formatted. I had a 2- page resume which I sure knew that possible employers would not be impressed by its length and its vagueness. Mr. Kabir fixed all that. Now its very concise and it is now a 1- page resume. And I love it. Thanks, Mr. Kabir. When I get my new job ill let you know!

This is by far the BEST library I have ever been to or took my daughter too. Been going since she was in my belly and she's now going on 5. They have something for everyone from baby's to even adults. Love love love this library

Love this library, very friendly and the employees are always finding ways to help. It could some times be noisy but perfect place to study.

One of my favorite libraries for sure. They have great material and they always have great activities for the kids
