Jamie is a truly wonderful man! I purchased an Ebike today, and let me assure you, I am an ebike trauma child!!! I rely on it, almost exclusively, for transportation, and I have for nearly 3 years. If there is a way to find an issue, I will definitely find it. The bike that I purchased today was priced right and feels great. Jamie is extremely transparent, and are you ready for it??
He has said he would actually teach me to change a flat tire! I cannot say enough good things!!!

As a cyclist first, this is an awesome shop with a great selection of high-quality bikes for nearly every rider. As people who live in the Northeast during winter, Jamie was able to hook us up with an awesome Cascade rower to keep in shape when the outside is less than appealing. Highly recommend this shop, you won't regret popping in and seeing all the cool stuff they have to offer.

Jamie stocks Ibis bikes! Went into the shop to buy some tire sealant and noticed ibis bikes were on display. Rode the ibis ripley and ripmo AF around the parking lot. The geometry and feel of the ripmo was a little more to my preference. Ended up adding the AXS upgrade kit to the ripmo AF - love the electronic shifters. Great deal on the shifters as well! Upgraded from a 2015 giant anthem sx which is a 650b. The ibis ripmo rolls over everything in tryon, bay park west and Lucien morin (took the bike out the day I bought it). Lots of travel in the front and rear suspension so could definitely take the bike on some downhill courses as well. Overall very happy with the bike and Jamie is top notch! Rochester fitness and cycling is a great shop with knowledgeable people that cares about the products they sell and stand by their quality. Would highly recommend this bike shop if you’re in the market for a new trusty steed!

I stopped in right before closing one day with my daughter’s bike, thinking it had a flat tire. The person working was so kind and helpful and filled her tires up so we could see if there was a problem. If we ever have any other bike needs, we’ll be back!

Absolutely love how Jamie dialed in my Yamaha Civante! The new tires, and the riser stem have made for me an enjoyable and fun ride! First ride did some urban assault downtown. The new tires stuck well, and when I had to jump from the road to gravel it held traction great! The assist from the Yamaha with my knee out of wack was perfect! Thanks you Jamie!

We bought a LANDICE treadmill from them a few years ago and were impressed with the team. Years later, Dan continues to service our treadmill yearly and has great availability for any service calls needed. He is professional, friendly, and works hard to ensure we are happy with our treadmill! Thank you !

We visited Rochester Fitness & Cycling for the first time in the summer of 2020, hoping (like everyone else) to purchase home cardio equipment. For those who really enjoy a personal touch, the owner (Jamie) is thoughtful and does his research, yet presents it in such a relatable manner. There is much knowledge -- but no pretense: Jamie is a straight-shooter, yet with a wonderful sense of humor, which my husband and I both appreciate. Plus, I can be one to ask endless questions about products, and the staff was wonderfully patient with me each interaction. Rochester Fitness & Cycling is a top-notch local business that we highly recommend and will undoubtedly purchase from in the future.

I went there to check them out after it was highly recommended. I can see why, they are great. Very knowledgeable and helpful. Not pushy at all. I went to buy one bicycle and bought two. Jamie and Dan are just awesome. They really roll out the red carpet for everyone. Great place and awesome people.

MAKING BIKE SHOPS GREAT AGAIN!!!What can I say but wow hands down best bike shop I've ever been to they really put the customer first and won't just sell you anything they listen to your wants and needs and will put you on the right bike or fitness equipment for what your looking to do. The reason I say this is I was looking to upgrade my bike as my old one needed repair and was outdated and the cost to fix and upgrade would have not been worth it. So I went to the shop and I was like I want a bike I'll take what ever you got cause at this point I was over fixing and working on my old bike. So little did I know I was working with the owner of the shop and he could have said ok here's a bike and been done with me but no he took his time and talked to me and said hey I got a order in for another bike and more bikes that may suit you better. so 2 months later more bikes came in delayed to covid and higher than normal demand. I later found out the shop had to pay for the bikes to get to the shop because the bike company only ships when they have x amount. So, after about stopping in about 100 times. The owner tells me some should be in by weeks end. We then talk about which bike would be best for me and he will get it built asap so I can see if I it feels right so the next day he had it built, perfect. Then the owner said ok let me fit it perfect for you for your riding style and size. The whole time he was looking out for me so I could get the most out of my riding experience. And they didn't try to over sell add-ons and unnecessary items. This is what a bike shop should be like, makes biking fun again.
