As a chef and Beacon local, this shop is essential. They offer high quality cooking gear that won’t break as soon as you use it. The staff are super nice and helpful. I love going here to shop for last minute gifts too, beautiful linens and plate wear. And they have high priced items that are on my wishlist-like a counter mounted citrus press, Lodge pieces and lovely knives!

I’m local and I always check here first for any kitchen gadgets and tools. The owner is approachable and knowledgeable. If she doesn’t carry the item, she offers recommendations. My steak knives purchased here are top quality and holding their edge. I buy all my silicone storage bags here as I’m breaking up with plastic. Feels great to support a small local business.

A pretty impressive collection of fine kitchen ware for a small Main Street shop. Lots of gorgeous brands as well as your more basic essentials. It’s a pleasure to shop here for a gift or for yourself. I’ve also turned to Utensil for last minute *i don’t want to drive to the big box store but need this now* cookie sprinkles and measuring cups when mine broke. She’s really got everything in there. Prices are reasonable too. Worth a stop if you’re in Beacon.

Love this shop for gifts (for others as well as myself)! I have a beautiful enamel salad bowl that I use constantly, as well as my most beloved, everyday knife from this shop. Knowledgeable staff and a great selection.

Got a lodge pan holder in orange and this beautiful butter dish. I have been looking for the perfect butter dish for a while. Was visiting Beacon during the weekend and to my surprize, found exactly what I was looking for. They also had the same style salt cellar with lid. Obsessed! They got all the kitchen and cooking essentials one may need!

A large RSVP endurance collection, and they even have some falcon enamelware!! Can't really see any purchase going wrong - the brands carried are high quality and the cost is equivalent to williams sonoma/sur la table except the funds are going to a local small business owner. Was pleased to find something we needed for our home!

It's great to have a kitchen store in town and Utensil has a lot of new and interesting stuff worth looking at or getting for gifts. The owner of the story is always helpful and willing to tell you about her purchasing decisions or help you find something.

If you love kitchen gadgets and are in the area Utensils is a must stop. They have a great selection which made it hard to not go too crazy with my purchases. I will admit I went back a second time before heading out of town for the day. I purchased adorable Fish and Eddy drinking glasses and a couple of pieces of Riess Enamelware which is tough to find online.

I love this deceptively small store! Far from the big city, I never expected to find such a diverse selection of everyday and obscure kitchen tools. Imagine Sur La Table meets a small downtown... Plus you can drop off your knives for $5 sharpening.

They have unique kitchen items and barware. Always find someone surprising or locally produced. I have bought many gifts here and they've been well received.
