Boathouse at Forest Park

The food was very good, I absolutely loved the pickle fries and sauce thar came with! The atmosphere is nice and there's a fantastic view of the lake!

Terrific experience all together! The place was beautiful with great food and the paddle boat was fun!

Their private event space is wonderful and their staff outstanding! We hosted a rehearsal dinner, followed by a welcome party and everyone had a fantastic time! We brought most decorations the day of and it was beautiful! The bride had a garlic allergy and they made her a special dish to ensure no issues!

Great atmosphere and the drinks and setting were good. Helpful staff. Sad we didn't eat, but it's an incentive to go back. ...also, for the kids, you can drop fish food in the pond and there are tons of fish that'll come along and eat!

The place is beautiful. Now, at the beginning of the fall, the decorations are so nice. It is well located next to the lake. During the day you can see people paddling in the lake, or see the sunset in the evening.

Food is as good as any bar food. Plates are abundant and prices are fair.

The servers are great, kind and efficient. The time for them to close for the winter is coming soon. It is absolutely a worthy visit. Would recommend, if possible, to go on a warmer day

I was at the restaurant in the fall, and it seems to me that this is the best time to come and sit outside where the restaurant offers a fantastic view of the lake. Unfortunately, on Sunday it’s a little crowded here, but I think it’s worth waiting to order food while enjoying the autumn view.

The boathouse with the paddle boats and the restaurant had a beautiful scenery. Rent please take someone on a first date. Or your family and your kids, the paddle boats are safe. It's excellent very long paddle if you take the long route because there are different routes you can take. The only one thing that would have been nice is if I had thought about grabbing a map as to which route takes you to which area.

This is my favorite restaurant. All of the employees are friendly. The service is great. The food is delicious. The drinks are excellent. They also give my daughter food to feed the fish. We visit all the time. Can’t wait to come back.

The boathouse or “The Forest Park Yacht Club” is a great place to get food and drinks after a long day at the park. The food is delicious and the portions are pretty big, but chances are you’ve already burned those calories playing golf or exercising at the park;)

The outdoor bar usually has a good selection of canned beer, as well as local brews from 4 Hands and UCBC on tap. The portions are huge and the food is well made.
My wife had the chicken Salad Croissant and it was FULL of chicken salad. She said it was a sweeter lightly seasoned flavor, and that you’ll want to keep some napkins handy. I got the Smokehouse Burger, and that thing is enormous! It’s a smash burger patty topped with pulled pork, and not just a little bbq either. If you want a healthier option, their salmon salad is amazing, and I’ve gotten it a couple times.

If you do wind up eating too much, just go rent a kayak or paddle boat to burn off some calories cruising the lagoons.

Babes brought me here on a surprise lunch date and we had such a good time! The vibes were everything! Started off with paddle boating and if you haven't tried it do it we had our ice coffees on the lake in the sunshine it was like a relaxing workout lol, then had lunch there the food was so good and their lemonade and lavender vodka slushies was soooo delicious 😋 ik how lemonade and lavender sounds but hunty give it a whirl.

Eat a great breakfast sitting by a fire. I went there to try out the new breakfast menu. Food was great. Atmosphere was very nice too. The slinger had smoked brisket in the chili and was very good. Also had the steak (smoked brisket) and eggs and it was awesome as well. I will definitely go back for more.

We went here to hang out and have a beer. Such a great place rt off the lake....good food and great ambiance....the indoor/outdoor dining area is wonderful. Definitely will be coming back during summer hours

Went kayaking & ate lunch at the Boathouse in Forest Park! The kayaking was a reasonable price and allowed you to explore out to Art Hill & then some! Highly recommend for a fun weekend activity!

We found it near impossible to find a place to eat around this area and tried here.

The food was phenomenal! BBQ pulled pork was delicious, mac and cheese tasted similar to KFC (good), and the sweet potatoe fries were amazing. Service was fast and nice.

Perfect location with great food, can't beat it. Prices were very fair.

I like this boathouse restaurant; the view is wonderful, the waitress is friendly, and the service is prompt. The prices are great too. I remember we had a kids’ meal and an adult meal, which only cost us $24, which is fantastic

My wife and I went there for brunch after attending Easter Services. We were not disappointed. The food and the service were first rate. The brunch menu was varied and delicious. It was a cool day but the food was kept warm. I chose to get lemonade but it was not available at that time. One of the staff on duty got the drink set up and brought it to our table.

There were several desserts available as well. The cookies and cakes were tasty. We brought some treats home. The staff encouraged us to take home what we wanted. They were quite nice and added to our experience. Just before we left, one of the staff gave us food to feed the ducks that were on the lake.

The Boathouse will have a Mother's Day brunch on that special Sunday. The food, if it will like today's, will be worth the price. It definitely was today. I suspect it is everyday it is open. We will go back in the future.

It is still popular weeks later. On a Sunday afternoon in June there was a long line outside to order afternoon lunch. Of course there was no table service on that day. That played a role. Still it is a great place to eat.

I can’t wait to come back and try a boat ride. But the food!! So Good. I had the smoked salmon sandwich. This was a flavorful decent size salmon on croissant. The cucumbers in the cucumber salad were fresh and crisp. The tiramisu cake…was so spongy and delicious.

This was, hands down, one of the most amazing adventures I've had in my hometown. They have kayaks, canoes, and paddle boards, an amazing patio with a view of the lake, and great food. There was a band playing too! And the wildlife is a bonus... Cannot go wrong with anything here. Make sure you grab an umbrella to help with the sun. Pretty reasonably priced as well. Do it!!! You won't regret it
