Thus place is terrific. Unfortunately we had not taken the time to research this place or we would have been here sooner. Great menu and portions. I'll eat just about anywhere that has a Kramer portrait on the wall and a leg lamp at the entrance. We'll be back.

We’ve enjoyed Joe Gatt’s many times in the past five or so years and last night I have found a new favorite dish. I had their Chicken Marsala and it was excellent. My wife usually has the Chicken Milanese and it too is excellent. Joe frequently visits the tables and is very gracious and thankful for our patronage. This restaurant continues to be highly recommended.

Lamb lollipops and Ribeye were vooked perfect! Drinks were perfect! Definitely will be back!

I had my son and daughter-in-law’s rehearsal dinner here. The food was amazing!! People were able to go up for seconds and thirds and they boxed up what was left and we brought it home. The artichoke French …WOW, best I have ever had. Our server Kim was wonderful!! So glad I choose to have the dinner here!! Thank you Joe and Kim!!!

Our server (the bartender), Paul, took great care of us. It was corkage free night, so that was a bonus. My friend & I had a salad and pizza - both were excellent.

Went for dinner tonight, best chicken Milanese in Rochester! We loved our bartender Ryan.

We went here for the first time today and it was incredible! We ordered the gnocchi, pepperoni pizza and beef on salt - every item was so delicious. Cooked perfectly! To top it off, they have salt bread! Incredible! Our waitress (Natalia) was so sweet and worked really hard! She was prompt and kept checking in on us. We also finished with the lava cake which was also delicious!! 10/10 would recommend!

Went back 11/14/19 with my daughter and wife for my wife's birthday. Again the food was excellent, service was excellent. It was my daughter's first time and she was very impressed. GREAT JOB!!

Back again on 8/21/20 with my wife. Did not have a reservation but was worked in very nicely. Diana took care of us very nicely, no rush, food was outstanding.

Back again on 4/3/21 with my wife, had a reservation and was seated promptly. Excellent food and service once again, keep your eye on the ball Joe, it is a winner.

Joey Gatz is our definite “Go To” spot! Whether as a couple or with friends- they always have a perfect spot for you to dine. We’ve never had a bad meal! Our favorites are the Wedge Salad, French Onion Soup - any of their Chicken dishes. Pizzas are amazing! Loyal staff keeps us coming back as well! Don’t miss Joey Gatz! Make a reservation- they seem to be busy most every night!

I picked this place at random one night when I was in the Penfield area to try out. I didn't know what to expect but they exceeded those expectations. Very good food. classy dining experience and atmosphere with a delightful and sophisticated menu. The red sauce on my dish was perfect, I guess they're known for the sauce and I will say it was on point, not acidic at all...the wood fired pizza was amazing. Great service we felt taken care of, I high recommend, I will be returning.

I've been going to Joe's for a few years now. It's always top notch. The food is delicious and the prices are more than fair. If Amy's so concerned about her $1 side condiment, eat at Wendy's. Nothing's free anymore. And, btw, the servers and bartenders are always courteous and attentive.

Wonderful service by John. I had the greens and beans, my bf had the cowboy steak special. Food was so tasteful. I can't wait to eat the left over. Definitely will be back.
