My husband's visiting in NY and this was my recommendation per my last visit.

And yet again I had amazing food with my amazing forever.

And surprisingly by far he found this to be the best restaurant for Italian taste...Soulmates with soul-buds I believe :-D

One of the Best Italian restaurants in the Bronx!

This restaurant is a local neighborhood spot that boasts great Italian cuisine.

As with all great Italian restaurants, they start to serve you with salads, bread and antipasto. Then they have an extensive menu from pastas, pizzas, steaks and seafood.

We ordered the crab cakes for appetizer and it was heavenly! It was paired with a creamy cognac sauce that balances out the dish well. Then I opted to order one of the unique pizzas I have ever tasted, it is called “Bee Sting” pizza. Its a pizza topped with honey and hot sopressata. That combination is righteousness in every possible way. You should try it out when it’s available! We ended our lunch with Spaghetti Carbonara which was delicious and the filet of sole cooked oreganata style.

Each menu item we ordered was superb. Definitely a gem in the Bronx and a must visit.

Love this place! Food is amazing each and every time. What do I reccomend? Everything. I've tried their pizza, chicken marsala, chicken parm special (pinwheel mozzarella and prosciutto), butternut squash ravioli special, prime rib, pork chop with vinegar peppers, and the appetizer stuffed long hot Italian peppers. Each dish is delightful in its own way, I can't pick a favorite.

The food is always great and the service is wonderful. I have never had a bad experience here. It’s a wonderful go to place for just eating or for special occasions.

Excellent food. A piece of paradise minutes away from the Westchester border line. My first time, but it won't be the last. I enjoyed all the food that was served! My husband is still talking about the Cavatell w/ broccolirabe.

Wonderful food, great scallops with pasta garlic, friendly atmosphere, outstanding service, Very good salad and hot antipaste, love it!

Where can I start.
This is definitely a hidden gem in the Bronx.
Food and service is by far amazing.
Towards the night the chef came out and spoke to us, which is strange to see nowadays.

I definitely recommend for NY Italian food. They do accommodate for larger parties.

Love this restaurant. I don't have the chance to get there too frequently, but when I do it's always consistent and on point. The food, service, atmosphere are always top notch. The locals in the area that frequent it are just another example of how great it really is.

They open later than 11:30am but despite the waiting time the food was excellent

One of the best Italian Restaurants in NYC. The food was exceptional. I got the seafood platter for 2. It was a lot of food for the price you pay. You got to check this place out.

Absolutely amazing Italian dinner! The food was so fresh and homemade! We had a traditional Italian dinner in their dining hall for a large family gathering. The dinner lasted 4 hours, and I have no complaints at all. The waiters were very efficient and friendly, but most of all, they were patient. The mussels were delicious, and the pastas, etc.... I would go back again and again. If you can, go eat there and take time for a traditional sit-down meal. You will not be disappointed.

My favorite neighborhood restaurant- a real gem. Here you go for the food and service. Eddie the owner and Anthony, Mario, and Ulysses treat everyone like family. You get a salad and caponata to start - then you can dig into scrumptious appetizers and entree. My favorites- baked clams (chopped). Extremely fresh. And the best chicken marsala in the city. And hope they get to keep the outdoor dining. Everyone I bring here (and that is many people) love their dishes. You must come here. This is my 'home' restaurant.

I unexpectedly had dinner here after they kindly allowed me to use their facilities. When my friend and I entered, the meal smelled delicious. We chose to give it a go. really good ambiance I sampled the lasagna and the chicken, sausage, and pepper dish. Excellent flavor and taste! The portions were filling and of a medium size. The wait staff was polite. The seating was cozy. Friendly atmosphere that made you feel like family. The cost was fair. Certainly discovered a gem.
