Pontillo's Pizza - Penfield

Since the new management I am impressed with the mom and pops feel of the shop, the time and quality put into the food and the politely excellent service. Chains tend to treat you like cattle when they say they treat you like family. You want family oriented service? This is the spot!

I have been frequenting pontillos pizzerias for over 30 years, and while I have had a couple of sub par experiences I have had far more exemplary experiences. I have had both deliveries as well as many pickups from this location. Today was great as the person working there heated up my slices exactly how I asked while being very courteous, and even starting singing some country music in the back which my gf and I got a kick out of. What was even better though, was the Mark's worker getting food.

Great customer service, great price, and most importantly delicious pizza! We will definitely be ordering again soon!

They use fresh ingredients. Always found the staff to be very polite and helpful and will be willing to share any deals. The quality of the food is on point. Gorgeous pizzas. Never the less, the pizzas are well worth it as they are luxurious. Fair amount of toppings and portion sizes are on point too. Lovely food, great staff. Highly recommended.

They have the best customer service. Every order has been perfectly delivered! Their crust is the best in Rochester. Our favorite pizzas are Italian sausage as well as ham and pineapple. Both are always perfectly cooked, hot and fresh. Love the fresh ingredients much better then Perri’s and Mark’s in Penfield. Keep up the good work!!

I ordered a large pizza and 10 boneless wings the other night and I have to say that these were the best pizza and wings that I have ever had. The pizza was amazing and customer service was even better. I would recommend ordering their Large with 10 wing special. Also very cheap delivery fee. Great value!

The customer service was amazing, the employees were very polite and made it easy to order. The pizza came out fresh and it was one of the best I’ve had in a while. Definitely looking forward to coming back soon!

Since the new owner took over a little over a year ago, I can't believe the changes. The pizza is so much better!! He has definitely made food changes for the better. Each time I go in, I see new improvements. The new owner is constantly updating and improving the menu and the pizza shop. My favorite is the EP sub! Omg!!!

Best Pizza location in upstate New York! I have been coming to this Pontillo's location for a year now and cannot recommend food from here enough! The staff is always friendly and the food is always consistently amazing. They make sure to put the extra effort into making your food the best quality they can deliver!

Pontillo's was always a go-to while growing up in the Rochester area. Upon graduating, however, I moved out of state and can truly say that signature Pontillo's pie has been missed.
While visiting my folks recently, I was pleasantly surprised to see the the new (for me) Penfield Pontillo's. The team on hand was professional and both pizza and wings were excellent.
Highly recommend and look forward to stopping by during our next visit.

I grew up in Rochester and have had pizza from pretty much everywhere. I don't know how they do it, but the slices specifically at the Penfield Pontillo's are always top notch. If you're in the mood for a quality NY slice... save yourself the trial and error and just come here for the best

Ordered from the NEW OWNER at Penfield Pontillos. They aren't my "local" store, but they offer online ordering (which i love), and i am in their delivery zone. They do the Pontillos name proud, it tastes like my childhood. Got a medium thin crust and mild wings. Crust was right, sauce and cheez were right, everything was well proportioned and cooked properly. Wings were Large! It tasted like a portal to 1998 .10/10 would recommend.

I requested a heart shaped pizza for valentine’s day. They were happy to do it, and I was very impressed with the craftsmanship! Thank you so much guys! My family was so happy and it made our night. The food is always delishous too!

Ordered the boneless wings the other day, very good and great value. Definitely going to come here next time I want pizza or wings. Also have heard about their fried dough. Definitely want to try it!

We are sad this was the second pizza we ordered moving after moving to NY. We tried Marks first, and it was nothing special. We heard about pointillos, and we were so happy 😁 pizza was so good! Wings were super crispy, we ordered mild and wished it was more of a buffalo sauce, but they were super good.

best pizza i have had in Rochester, their wings are also to die for. staff is alway nice and wearing masks and they wear gloves when i see them preparing food. try their new yorker, it’s the best.

Very good pizza and very fast preparing, the owner was very nice to us and workers are great! Also amazing seasoning on the pizza and crispy on the crust and bottom

Ordered wings and a Lg pizza and the food is amazing. The wings were not soggy cooked to perfection. The pizza was wonderful and the service was amazing very welcoming and friendly.

Ordered 2 sheets and 100 wings for a birthday party at ellison park, food was delicious, delivery arrived on time and they gave me extra cutlery and plates with napkins at no extra charge.
