What a great restaurant! First time eating there, and it was a pleasure. The service was top notch, the staff was friendly (eye contact, smiles, joking around), our glasses were never empty, and they checked on us regularly, but not in an intrusive way. There was a minor mix up in the kitchen, so they have us a free appetizer as an apology. It was so refreshing to get great service, great food, at an affordable price. 10/10 Will definitely be back.

The food was delicious. I had the chicken and veg bowl. The veggies were fresh and cooked perfectly. The rice and the chicken were flavored very nicely. My husband had the grilled salmon which he loved. The waitress was super friendly and the service couldn’t be better. We will definitely return and tell other family about it.

We recently discovered this place through recommendations. We now go at least a month. The food is amazing and the staff are friendly and inviting.

Inside looks really nice. We arrived early just as they opened Sunday evening on what was possibly the last warm day of summer so we decided to eat on the porch which was a pleasant experience. Food was delicious and top-notch. Service was nothing short of excellent. Can't wait to come here again and try the dining room.

Food and service amazing... the staff is so knowledgeable about the menu... service just excellent... hats off to the Chef for one of the best meals I have had ... cooked to perfection and beautiful presentation.

Best restaurant in penfield. I've come here since I was little girl for the clam bakes and now I'm a mom bringing my little one here! It is so nice to have a local place that cares about the quality of their ingredients and marrying flavors together in a perfect way. The chefs sister is the greatest waitress of all time, 5 star service for sure. Beautiful shaded patio, great prices. We are always happy to eat here :) thank you for being awesome

What a nice place. Our server was attentive an knowledgeable. Beer selection was good. Outside porch was delightful with a nice breeze. Too many great food choices. My dinner was delicious and ample. Brought some home with me. Dessert was the amazing. It was called something like S'mores bake. Baked marshmallows and crust with vanilla ice cream and hot fudge drizzle. Enjoy your dinner.

Husband and I went to the Humphrey House for the first time this past Wednesday. Our experience demonstrated the value of employees who have clearly been retained for many years and have a deep understanding of their profession.
When we arrived the host informed us of a short wait, and delayed our seating so that the rest of the service team had time to “catch up”. This facilitated excellent service once we were seated. She remembered our name and checked in with us during our wait at the bar. She was friendly, personable, transparent, and informative.
At the bar, we ordered a few drinks. The bar tender was perfect and graciously made the specific drinks we ordered. It was an easy and relaxed vibe. She was on point, and did not ruffle to the busy evening. Later in the night we would reorder these unique drinks by their generic names from our table with the busser. I did not expect our drink specifications to be remembered or considered- we were ok with the generic version. However, the bartender remembered the specifications without being told by the wait staff and personally brought them to our table. I was shocked at this level of service- exceptional and out of the ordinary.
Our server was lively and knowledgable of the menu, but not over bearing. It was clear that she was very experienced and exceptional at her job. We were well attended and the food was very good. The menu was traditional with a few unique spins. The atmosphere was nice (if a bit worn), and the noise level was perfect- we did not struggle to have a conversation.
Appetizers, drinks, and meals came in under $100 for two people. Excellent!
However, as stated earlier, what made our experience exceptional was the service that we were provided. Employees with a deep knowledge base, unfazed by a busier than expected evening, who were invested in their roles, and had a high level of professionalism and knowledge.
To the management of Humphrey House- retain these people at all costs. A team like this is impossible to find, exceptional at their profession, and because of their high level of service we will be back!

This is truly a local treasure. Chef-owned, great family run restaurant. The food is fantastic - always the freshest, in season dishes. Can't recommend highly enough.

We had an excellent meal here. The service is fantastic and the ambiance is so truly inviting and comfortable.

My salmon dish was super ample and exquisite. The four of us enjoyed the entrees and were overwhelmed by the portion sizes!

My next trip here is guaranteed and we will make a visit to the well-stocked bar.

Parking is free and easily accessible. Restrooms are clean and well kept.

This is a new regular spot on my dining agenda.

Chicken and Waffles fantastic!! Our waitress possibly her name was Jen did a great job warning me of the spiciness. I'm sure for some folks it's not their taste so it's good to educate the customer on a dish. For me, the mix of sweet maple syrup and the spicy Sriracha was divine!! Great service, delicious food and very reasonable cost especially in Covid times... We will be back!!!

Bravo👏🏻. The Humphrey House burger is delicious. Service great(especially the busboy), atmosphere is chill modern rustic. Put it in your rotation.

One of our favorite penfield gems! They are so attentive and nice! The food is consistently amazing! The fried brussels is the most amazing appetizer ever!

I was there last night with Actually all three of them Diet restrictions. StephieWas fabulous and with support from the chief we had a most delicious meal. Joey did a great job too. I so so glad that I picked signatures to take them.

We have been waiting for this place to open since the quarantine went into effect. AMAZING food!!!! Our family ordered the short rib tacos, the brussel sprouts, the calamari, and fish fry. All of these dishes had incredible flavor. The way they packaged the food allowed for us to get it home without being soggy or losing the integrity of how it should be enjoyed. HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend!!!!!

Top notch service and incredible food. My wife and I went for our anniversary dinner and we were both very impressed. Will be back soon!

The food is absolutely incredible! So fresh and flavorful. It’s a true farm to table restaurant! You won’t be disappointed- we had the braised short ribs are to die for- not dry tender & great balance of flavors. The fish tacos are light , fresh fish and super delicious! The service is outstanding! The portions are huge you won’t leave hungry. We are definitely going to be regular customers.

I can count on one hand how many restaurants have never let me down in Monroe County, and this is one of them. We’ve probably eaten here a couple of dozen times and everything is excellent. We blew this place off for a couple of years until one afternoon when my wife said she wished there was a place she could not only get the best burger, but also the best calamari. I researched reviews for a couple of hours and came up with Signatures. We were floored by our meals that night. After that, we wanted to take our fish fry game to its limit. Again, I researched reviews and came back to Signatures. The fish fry at this place is fat and above any places I’ve had one, including the fish n chips at Gritty’s in Portland Maine. After that, we just started going here because we knew the food was excellent. It’s obvious that whoever’s cooking is a chef, not a cook. It’s clear nothing takes a back seat. Tarter sauce? From scratch and obviously well thought out. The batter on the fish fry? It’s crack. Seafood risotto? I always told myself to never buy risotto at a restaurant. I was wrong. I can’t recall everything I’ve ever had here but it’s all been fantastic. The service is excellent. The staff are friendly but don’t overwhelm you. It really is a gem of a restaurant.
