Nice place to go for a walk off the canal.

I"ve never walked the pathway to Thomas Creek Wetlands and it was peaceful, beautiful and loved listening to the birds. On a Sunny 🌞 Cloudy ☁ or any day a very pleasant thought provoking place and if you love to bird watch remember to bring your binoculars 👍👍

Great place for a nature walk. Safe, well lit, adjacent to the services and views of the very fine town of Fairport, including walks along the canal to make a loop trail with a beautiful boardwalk through head-high wetland plants and a variety of animal life. Unfortunately, sometimes vandalized and very rudely graffitied by marker-wielding nothing-to-thier life teens. They lost a great sign that explained wetlands and their inhabitants to such curs. Suitable for young children (who can't read grafitti). Also well put together by the town for accessibility and maintenance of grounds, and frequented by those ever helpful Eagle Scouts and their projects which can be seen benefiting the people of the town in many places including this locale.

Nice path to walk on and well kept. The box factory businesses are nearby to grab a bite to eat or get ice-cream which is convenient and it goes right off the canal trail.

Cute boardwalk offshoot of the canal. Some great native species mixed in with the invasive takeover that are our wetlands.

Nice raised platform even in winter weather.always of interest to see water level based on recent rain and seasons of the year.
