Vinny's Deli & Pasta

I was told that I had to go to Vinny’s and get their famous sandwich “The Steak Margarita” and let me tell you I know why it’s famous!! The owner and staff were super friendly and engaged me as soon as I walked in! Places like this with people and food like this are very rare nowadays! A true gem!

Steak margarita sandwich was a big hit! So were the chicken Parm and swedish meatballs. Definitely ordering from Vinny's for future parties.

Their hot sandwiches are blowing my mind. The son in law on a wedge is incredible. Awesome old school Italian deli. The staff is super friendly. The vibe is authentic. The products are niche and high quality. They don’t insist that you tip (though you will want to) and the prices are super affordable. New lunch spot for me

Such an amazing spot. Great people who work here, recognized my mom who brought me and knew I was a first time guest. Got the Steak Margarita sandwich and some take home items. The sandwich barely made it to the car before we were digging in. I cant wait to make the take home stuff, its sure to be phenomenal.

We ordered party subs for our wedding weekend and they were INCREDIBLE. Vinny and his team worked hard to make sure we had everything we needed. It was easy to order and pick up, and all our guests LOVED the sandwiches. Can’t recommend enough!

Been going to Vinny's Deli for 20 years and they have the best and most fresh food in the area! Definitely gotta try it!

This is the best place in Pawling. The service is excellent. The catering is amazing. Sandwiches are delicious. Prices are reasonable. What a gem!

This deli is your typical Italian deli. I mean that in a good way. If you need a quick lunch or cold cuts or salads, I highly recommend this delicatessen.
Working a construction project in town, we frequented this location many times.
The sandwiches were great, fresh, tasty. They did not overwhelm you with 2 lb of meat lol. The prices are average. The staff is very friendly. I would not hesitate to recommend this location. Enjoy!

What can I say? Rolled into Pawling tired and hungry after cycling for most of the day. Wasn't expecting much since the area is so sparsely populated. Spotted Vinny's and decided to give it a shot. Really impressed with the variety of food they had - beef soup and barley was amazing and filling for a steal! Vinny himself is super nice. Definitely pay this place a visit if you're after some excellent wholesome food and friendly service.

Vinny's Deli has been catering my kids birthday parties since birth. The food is always excellent and Courtney makes the ordering process a breeze. My cousin from BK even mentioned "I was hoping you'd have the hot roast beef sandwiches again!"

Best sandwiches in NY! Vinny does an amazing job with bringing Italy to Pawling. It’s an awesome little grocery.

It's always an adventure going to Vinny's. Along with the staples, you never know what goodies the shelves will be stocked with. It's a foodies dream shop.

Vinny's deli has always been the best 25 plus years in my book. Quality products amazing taste and fantastic prices when the whole world has turned upside down crazy with prices. Featured in food Network everything is top notch. You're in for a real treat when ordering a mouth-watering sandwich from Vinny's.

2023 update! While the world chaged in the past 4 years Vinnie's is as wonderfully reliable for great food & Service! OMG the sandwiches here are the best available anywhere at any price. The grocery items available are quite unique and you need them! A must try.

We are regular customers at Vinny’s Deli and recently used Vinny’s to cater a rehearsal dinner for our daughter’s wedding. The food was fresh and flavorful! The guests loved the chicken Marsala and the eggplant parmigiana especially! The fresh mozzarella and tomato plate was also a huge hit! We also needed serving pieces and sterno trays, which were offered at a minimal cost. This made everything so convenient! Pick up was a breeze! Vinny’s Deli is a well-known, long-standing neighborhood business in Pawling and Vinny is an incredibly kind and affable owner! Five stars!!

We went for the first time today, met Vinny (wonderful warm generous) and picked up some chicken Parm cutlets, had it w/ their house jarred sauce. My 7-year old rated it a million out of a million. I've tried all the jarred sauces (Rao's, Victoria's, Whole Foods, etc., etc.), this is by far the most delicious jarred sauce I've ever had, tastes like delicious homemade cold out of the jar. We'll be having their homemade mozz w/ tomatoes tomorrow. We can't wait to go back for their sandwiches on a regular basis. :)

It was my first time in the shop, though I've enjoyed many things from there, such as the Margarita Steak sandwich (which I cannot recommend enough!). The shop is small in size but giant in character, and quality. Nothing from Vinny's has ever disappointed!
The customer service is excellent, so much so, that customers seem genuinely happy to just be there.
Like I said; it was my first time actually in the shop, and after giving the guy ahead of me a welcoming hug, Vinny greeted me like I was a long time customer.
I live in Manhattan but needless to say, anytime I'm in this area, I'll absolutely be making a stop at Vinny's.

We heard very good things about the deli, but we were never in the area. I had the Rhode Island chowder and it was very good. Not really enough soup for what i would consider a meal but it was good for a quick snack. Next time i will have to try a sandwich or something bigger..overall its got a great selection and the people there treated us like family. I would recommend this place if you happen to be around the area.
