Takumi Sushi Hibachi & Lounge

I’ve been here so many times- this is my go to Japanese spot.

First of all the service is always spot on! Chris, our server, has been our server since the beginning of time and he is always so welcoming, friendly, attentive, and courteous. Chris always makes sure we are having a great time and he definitely takes care of us- not only prompt service, but also a friendly smile throughout it. You can tell he loves what he does. Chris, I believe is essential to the Takumi experience!

The ambiance is nice. Always busy and clean inside, with dim lights and laughter heard from the hibachi tables.

Food is always amazing! Their sushi and sashimi is always fresh and on point! I love their poke bowls also as well as their bento boxes. Their mango sauce pairs perfectly with sushi and sashimi. Their food is always fresh and tasty. And their lunch price deals are also pretty great! Here is what I’ve tried thus far:

Appetizers:
-Rock Shrimp Tempura: so delicious and a pretty great portion.
-Fried Calamari: fresh but not my first choice. Breading is seasoned weirdly for my tastes and doesn’t combine well with sauce.
-Kani Salad: fresh! So delicious!!
-Clear Soup: soooo delicious and fresh. I enjoy it every time!

Entree:
-Shrimp and Scallop Teriyaki Bento Box: so delicious and such a great deal! It comes with broccoli, carrots, zucchini and onion. Choice of white rice or fried rice (delicious!) kani salad, spring roll, California roll, and fruit.
-Poke Bowl: so delicious and FRESH. You can build your own poke bowl.
-Sashimi Lunch: so FRESH and delicious
-Sushi Lunch- so fresh and delicious! Rice is not dry and fish tastes fresh

Dessert:
-Fried Oreo: so delicious and fresh! The batter is perfectly combined with the Oreo and the ice cream scoop pairs well!

Sauce:
-Mango sauce- such a nice sauce and fresh/homemade/unique! Pairs perfectly with any sushi/sashimi.

Writing this review as I'm eating because people need to know how good the food is here. Its absolutely incredible. Beautiful atmosphere and excellent service. Was looking for a new hibachi place since the one i use to go to for years closed. My search is over. This place has won my heart and my stomach. I hope to spend many years eating here.

This restaurant is fantastic! Every time we come the food is great, it comes out fast, is always fresh and everyone there is very friendly. We found this restaurant by accident one day while in the area and still routinely travel fairly far just to come here for sushi.

Our waiter Chris has been so kind and helpful since the first time! He always takes the time to say hello and help out even when he’s not working at our table. He is probably one of the best waiters we’ve ever had and even remembers our drinks from the first time being there and will bring it out without us saying anything, water without ice!

Truly cannot recommend this restaurant more, always a great experience!

I can’t say enough good things about this establishment. I highly recommend Takumi. The food, the service and the entertainment is unmatched. You will go home full and with a smile on your face after all the fun you had. We are usually lucky enough to get Chris as our waiter. He always has a smile on his face and is always attentive and accommodating. He’s our favorite! We go here pretty often and I stand by my review and always recommend them to family, friends and even on social media platforms. You will not be disappointed!

We had an awesome time! The food was so good and our server Melody was superb! Top service from her, we will deff be coming back and getting the Tokyo roll again!

It’s a family favorite! Every time we come, we have fantastic food, delicious cocktails, great atmosphere and an overall great time! Chris is our #1 guy! We having been coming for years and he’s always here, making sure we are happy! Would definitely recommend!

Been coming here since they opened up. The food is always incredible. Quality with great portions and wallet friendly is hard to find but this spot hits all three! The staff is friendly, attentive and very hospitable. If you are looking for a nice sushi spot that also offers a variety of entrees including hot from the kitchen or hibachi then you have found the place! They also have custom cocktails that goes toe-to-toe with top speakeasies.

We chose a regular table (not hibachi). Food was good, shrimp & sea bass were cooked perfectly, the rolls are delicious. The portions were a good size. Service was decent. The ambience is nice. I would definitely return.

Takumi is our favorite place! My family loves the food, the atmosphere, and the service! We especially love when we’re seated in Chris’ section. He is a great server who really cares about the customers! Thank you, Takumi!

The restaurant overall is great but what makes it the best out of the best is Chris. He attends me, my family & friends each and every time we come & he has the best of the best customer service I’ve ever experienced in the food service industry. The food and the service here are exceptional. The restaurant is clean. The booths are comfortable and a little more private than most places. Chris is very friendly, welcoming, and treats us like family. It's a favorite dinner date night spot for me and my husband.

Excellent service, decor, and food. And our server Yuna was absolutely amazing! Highly recommend.

My husband took me here for my birthday and we had a blast! The kids loved the show and the chef made it so fun for them! They also sang Happy Birthday and gave us all blow up hats! We will definitely be back!!

This is my go-to restaurant whenever wanting to go out for dinner! The food never disappoints and always impresses. The atmosphere is also so calming yet fun at the same time, and the prices are very reasonable! I highly recommend going!

Super cool vibe. Great food, didn't matter if you got hibachi or sushi the food was on point. The hibachi show was fun, fairly standard but the chef made it a little more.

I've ordered takeout from here before but this was my first time dining in. very beautiful interior. it was quite busy, and even though my party had a reservation, there was a wait. the staff was very pleasant, and the food was delicious. we were given an appetizer on the house for the wait. much appreciated! will be returning.
Edit to add about a second visit!! I made a reservation using the tool on google maps and when I arrived we were swiftly seated and helped (this time for normal dine in, not hibachi). We ordered an appetizer and 3 sushi rolls and they were amazing! And for a very fair price!!!

Service was amazing. Servers are very attentive and kind. Food was delicious and prepared fresh. Atmosphere is cozy and comfortable also not loud so you can actually have a conversation with the person across from you. Overall great experience and great food.
