Let me just start off by saying that crepes are one of my favorite foods. I’ve tried a lot of different crepe places. A co-worker told me about this place and their “Mixed Berry Crepe” does not disappoint.

I’ve been to this place over 10 times in the last few months since I’ve found out about it. I have to be honest, the customer service can be a little hit or miss. This one lady was so friendly and helpful (I think she is the owner). She helped me create a custom drink and told me about their point system - and got me enrolled. So now after 10 points you get a free item. Just overall, very personable. There have been a couple times where someone else was working and they weren’t that friendly or helpful. But I get it, good help can be hard to find. And one person can’t work 24/7.

The crepes do take some time because they said one crepe maker was down. So after that, I started calling in my orders or placed them on an app. So they were ready when I got there. But I don’t mind waiting for a quality item. The crepes are full of blueberries, raspberries, & blackberries. And they don’t skimp on the berries - it’s the perfect crepe to berry ratio in every bite.

I’ve also tried the “Grilled English Muffin w/ Sausage” and the “Breakfast Crepe” which was full of Bacon, Eggs, Tomatoes, Mushrooms, & Cheese. Both were delicious but the Mixed Berry Crepe is my all time favorite. I highly recommend Marine View Espresso. One of these times I’ll actually take a photo of the crepe before I eat it and post it on this review...

My niece ordered a chicken wrap and that was delicious! Full of fresh veggies, nice and light. I ordered a sugar and spice crepe and that was incredible! Food was really good. Atmosphere was quaint and quiet and the prices are extremely reasonable 👌
This coffee shop is a local gem. We will be back for sure!

Great vibe, friendly people...this place has quickly become my weekend go-to for great espresso and breakfast while I work.

Really cool place with cozy booths, fancy chairs that will make you feel like a Tudor, sandwiches, and wide variety of coffee. I thought quality of coffee was better than Google average rating (4.3 stars as of writing). Definitely one of the best lattes I've had in the area.

This place is great for delicious coffee and cozy local cafe ambiance. The baristas always come up with fun seasonal drinks, and they display cute local art that you can buy. There's also some really plush booths and seats. They do have some food options as well, the savory crepes are a little too rich and salty for my taste but my friend likes them. I hope this coffee shop is here for a long time.

Cutest coffee shop ever with actually decent spots to sit down and work or study for a bit. The special Turmeric latte with hemp milk is one of the best lattes I’ve had. Perfect place to chill, big windows & not too noisy

My wife and I came here on one of our first dates together when we were starting to date. Now we have one child a few years later, and we came back and it’s still as good as ever. The coffee is great. And I highly recommend the banana Nutella crape. Just amazing.

open for limited occupancy dine-in, and it's a good thing because the appearance and atmosphere is very cozy. there are different kinds of seating arrangements from regular wooden chairs at tables to a few booths and some cushions around a coffee table. the English muffin I got was finished relatively quickly and was pretty good

Quaint cafe with delicious offerings!

One of my favorite breakfast/ brunch choices when visiting Des Moines, WA. I can get something delicious and vegan or at least dairy free, while my partner is very satisfied with the meat enthusiast and omnivore options.
The staff is friendly and the crepes mouthwatering! Two enthusiastic thumbs up!

I loved it! Very quaint and unique. Doesn't have the "commercialized" feel at all. There were even board games. I am a tea person and they served Big Train Chai which is a huge win for me. Went Sunday afternoon and it was not too busy. Definitely recommend.

The coffee is fantastic. One of the few places where I could really taste the notes in the coffee. Sit back, relax, don't be in a hurry. If you're in a hurry, go to Starbucks.

The panini options are delicious. I've had the Italian and breakfast ones, and was very pleased with both. The fam ordered crepes and really like them too, especially the berry one.

The staff here is always friendly - the coffee good. It's a regular stop for me when I'm working in Des Moines. I tried the crepes about a year ago and was not disappointed. I saw a plate of them go out today and they looked as good as ever.

The atmosphere here is great, service is really pleasant and accommodating plus there is free WiFi. You can get breakfast, lunch, snacks, smoothies, bubble tea, regular tea, pastries and your normal plethora of espresso beverages.

Nothing is pristine which in my opinion adds to the small town character of the place. Seating is plentiful and set up in various ways to welcome the single stopper to a large group. I normally drink a plain soy latte but their mocha is rich and delicious as well.

Perfect to stop at for study groups, coffee dates, real dates or just by yourself. Well behaved pets have been welcomed in with our parties. Overall, just a wonderful, comfortable place to be.

The service was a bit slow, but this is a nice quiet, non chain. The coffee was great and the muffin I had was good. I could tell it was just a Costco muffin. It's a good sit down coffee /snack shop.

I use to live in a condo just behind this amazing Cafe. Marine View changed my perspective on tea all together by making me an incredibly smooth-black tea that tasted like a sweet, velvet marshmallow. I have to throw kudos to their food menu as well. You do have plenty to select from but you truly don't need any more options being that every thing offered is extremely tasty! Sincerely, a very picky eater and a harsh critic.

Excellent little coffee shop. I go in there to do my studying quite often. The wifi is fast and convenient and the seating layout works great for some privacy to study or just talk with a friend. The coffee is good and I would recommend this place to anyone.

One of my favorite places to grab some coffee and read! My husband and I started coming here when we first started dating and have continued to enjoy this shop ever since. There are larger tables for those days when we want to play a board game and cozy nooks for when we want to bring our books. The decor is so unique (lots of fun chandeliers) and the fireplace adds a home-like touch. They have a large selection of food for breakfast, lunch and snacks. Although I'm not crazy about the baked goods. If you find yourself at marine view espresso make sure you get a sugar and spice crepe!

The atmosphere was warm and inviting. Nice and quiet place to meet a friend or to study. Blink and you'll miss it- and regret that you did!
