I love the food here! Authentic Jamaican fare in the heart of Mount Vernon. Amazing Jerk Chicken and Curry Goat. They actually cook a lot of the meat outside on a huge grill! Tasted amazing and will be back many times.

A small take out spot in a crowded unassuming little strip mall. The secret is the best cooks in the entire area are there! A really good variety of meats in delicious sauces, fish, chicken many ways, the absolute best mac & cheese, vegetables and my new addiction - Chicken Vegetable Cheesy Lasagna', OMG! They serve very healthy size portions for your money too! 👍🏾👏🏾💞

Excellent as always. This small Jamaican or Caribbean restaurant is Great! I love the food. Service is great & they service some very good spirited patrons ☺ all good. I hope you try more of the choices. I have had their. Oxtails, cabbage, peas & rice and some juices. Hoping to try some soups, winter coming. Great place

Shockingly it's not owned by Jamaicans but its really an amazing almost unlimited array of Jamaican cuisine. They even serve a Jamaican Jerk rice. I've had it nowhere else on earth but it could spar against the finest rice dish at any restaurant specializing in any fare. Freshly made sorrel, my family always cries when they run out of chicken or cow foot soup and the mac n cheese served by the pound is worth every dime every time. There is even a buffet on weekends. Love it.

Food is mad good! A little pricey but worth it.

Oxtails we large and delicious. They have friendly staff and when you walk in, you automatically think you’re somewhere in Jamaica from the billows of flavor in the air.

My experience was excellent. Every time Im in Bronx poppy deli always my stop. I come all the way from Schenectady Ny.

The food was ok. The staff was fun to have fun with.

What's not to love...the jerk chicken, plantains, cabbage....delicious. We eat at there several times a week. Definately one of my favorite spots.

The best breakfast I ever had the deli man Omar was very professional and great attitude all ways with smile not matter how busy they are I really recommend

The person cooking is very polite cooks your food the way you want it ,it's quck and easy especially if you are on the go

They always have something available to eat very fast in service they make breakfast lunch and dinner some thing you always want to eat
