I finally made my way over to Gentry's after being referred by a friend several times. I went on a rainy cold day thinking that no one would be there but me. What a surprise! I had a chance to browse some shoes while waiting. The salesperson, Unique was extremely patient and personable. She was even wearing one of the shoes that I purchased! I love my shoes.

The service in this Kent, Wa Gentry Footwear store is wonderful! The greet you, listen carefully to what you are looking for. When I bought a pair of Oofos shoes, they let me exchange them for the correct size without any hassle. Very respectful and I have returned a few more times to purchase more shoes.

We went in to Gentry's hoping to find something other than Keens for my husband (his go-to brand). We left with two pairs. Their selection was fantastic - brands we didn’t know but now love - and the salesperson was knowledgeable.

I've been shopping with the folks at Gentry since they were still on East Hill. Friendly staff, offering a curated selection of only the best for your feet. They've always been knowledgeable and helpful in helping me with my purchase, even as a non-enthusiast just looking got extra support for while I'm on my feet. Worth every penny you spend here for premium footwear.

Gentry's is now my go to shoe store. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable and they have a nice selection. I especially like the local store feel of the place.

Every time I have been into the Kent store I have received outstanding service. They have a large selection and they make sure they fit you properly. This is a great experience.

My mom (75) and I went here this evening to browse their selection as we were each looking for a certain type of shoe. I’ve been telling her for awhile that she really should prioritize shoes that are good for her feet, and comfortable. We each found something that perfectly fit the bill! Alyx assisted us and she was very patient with the many pairs of shoes my mom decided to try on. She even asked questions about my mom’s foot shape and gave her guidance on what to say or search for anytime she’s shoe shopping in the future! Overall we really enjoyed shopping locally, trying on shoes and having a shoe expert there to help us out. We will definitely be back!

Great service and great brands of shoes. I bought a couple pairs of my new favorite brand "Taos". Love the look, fit and comfort. They cost a little more, but worth it. The service at Gentry is excellent.

I love this store. Every single shoe in there is comfortable! If you're looking for comfortable shoes most places have unflattering shoe ware that aren't stylish. Gentry's stops all of that foolishness. Why can't you be comfortable and cute at the same time?? The store has a calm vibe, and the customer service is great. I highly recommend this store. I needed some serious shoes for an extensive walking tour. Thanks to Alyx and Unique, I was quickly able to try out a bunch of brands and styles that I thought might work. In less than an hour I was able to pick the best of the best.

A good fit ranged in different brands and styles ranged from a size 10-1/2 to a size 12. I never would have been able to figure all that out by shopping on the Internet.

I have bought several pairs of sandals and shoes over the years and had always had wonderful service from Gentry's Footwear. In the early spring I had purchased a pair of sneakers that had a wide square toe area and zero balance..reminded me of earth shoes from the 70s. I had gone on vacation and found that I ended up with hip pain whenever I wore them. Walking ended up being a painful experience. On return, I called Gentry's in Kent and when I explained my problem, the sales associate Nancy was so helpful. Even though I had passed the 30 day return policy due to vacation, she made an exception so that I could return them and I replaced them with Hoka sneakers. So far 4 other ladies in my Maple Valley Community center walking group have purchased Hoka. They were all impressed with the service I received and are all very happy with their purchases too. Some have even gone back for a second pair.😊

BEST SHOE STORE, hands down. If you need comfortable shoes for your feet so that they do not hurt by the end of the day, Gentry's Footwear is the place to go. They have fashionable shoes that will quickly become your favorites. it is nice to have a good shoe store in the south end. These kinds of shoes can be a little more expensive, but you get what you pay for. If you have sore or painful feet by the end of the day, you know it is worth it! Great staff, helpful, knowledgeable and courteous. Competitive prices.

Nancy was of great assistance 10+ suggesting shoes I was needing for high arches, very patient. The store has a wide selection of shoes of many styles.
Definitely go visit even if to just look around, you'll find a pair or two of not more to leave with and will be very comfortable.

Gentry's Footwear staff is incredible! I have very difficult feet to find a shoe that is comfortable and yet gives me the support I need. Kendall was amazing! She spent nearly two hours with me. Fitting me with a pair of shoes for walking and house shoes. When the house shoes didn't work for me she spent another hour an half trying different styles. Have to wait till next week to get my size in but I know I will get what is going to work and be comfortable. It will be so nice not to have to wear shoes with orthotics in the house all the time. I finally won't have to go to other's homes where they all remove their shoes at the front door and say "sorry but I can't go without my shoes without being in severe pain." I can't say enough about the custom service at Gentry's. It was like when I was a little girl.

After so many years of wearing inexpensive shoes, my feet, knees and hips needed some love. I've been going to Gentry's Footwear (previously Seattle Footwear) for 3+ years now, and always walk away more impressed than the last time. Erica is beyond help, and so patient. She takes the time to explain the benefits of each style, and also makes recommendations that I greatly appreciate.
Not only does Gentry's Footwear sell the most comfortable shoes, boots and sandals on the market, they're also really cute and stylish. I'm so happy to see the Gentry's Footwear team knock down the preconceived notion that comfort has to sacrifice style. I will be a forever customer.

I was excited to see a new store opening at Kent Station and to have it a shoe store was even better! When I first visited the store we were at the beginning of the Covid pandemic. They were so careful in keeping the store safe for everyone to use. Awesome selection of shoes, great brands and a very helpful staff. I found the most comfy Oofos flip flops! I wear them all the time. Thank you, thank you.....a store that my feet love.
