Excellent sea food! You wouldn't even know this place is here. You have to drive down to the end of the dock, past the warehouse and park. Go inside and place your order at the window. Large selection of seafood and combos. Also they have New England, Manhattan, and Long Island Clam Chowder. We had the Long Island and it was outstanding. Also had the seafood bisque and it was great also. We had the fried seafood combo and it was prepared perfectly. Not greasy. Nice and crisp coating. Well seasoned. Definitely fresh seafood.

You can also buy raw seafood at the counter. They have a lot of variety of fresh fish and shrimp. Live lobsters.

Friendly staff. Everything came out really quickly after ordering. You can sit inside or outside right by the channel and watch the birds and boats.

Omgosh! I just left and I love the lobster roll❤ the platter is so complete with supee crispy fries and fresh crunchy salad and the cole slaw divine! It was my first time here but most certainly won't be the last. Everything is sooo flavorful and fresh you won't be disappointed I recommend it 100%👌🏼👍🏼❤

Decided to go on a quest to find a decent lobster roll locally for some guests that are coming up to visit. I heard that White Cap should be a contender and gave it a try. Chef told me how they make the lobster sauce fresh every morning and it really makes it taste great. The dish they served it with included French fries, cole slaw, pickle and salad. So they are now #1 in the running!

So here I am several weeks later. My company arrived and we went to White Cap to try the winner of my quest for best lobster roll in the area and they came through again! My daughter experienced the same as my first experience. It is just too good to risk stopping eating and hoping the leftover will be anywhere as good the next day! (Her photo focused on the lobster roll but everything else is still included)

We've been to Whitecap many times the food is always fresh and very good. I recommend it. Today, we had the sword fish dinner, calamari, and linguine with white clam sauce. Oh, I almost forgot the crab cake . It was all great . This place is a hidden treasure for us . I recommend 👍 👌

I love this fish market. The menu has alot of great selections. The workers are great. It's not fancy but its comfortable. Than again its Fish Market. I highly recommend this place.

You go in, you order, you go outside and send the most magnificent water front view you can imagine. Find a table. When they call your name, you go get your food. And it's always really good food. If you have a sunny day in Islip, it's a great place to have lunch.

What a great place to get FRESH SEAFOOD right off the boat! You can buy fresh fish to go home, you can order dinner or lunches to eat there. Everything made to order! My seafood combo which was EXCELLENT was only $20!! And the FRESH Lobster Mac and Cheese was only $12! Lunch crabcakes sandwhich with fries only $10! Best place to go. Right off Main Street in Islip. Has a beautiful outside seating area by the water to enjoy your food too.

Fresh seafood, crab cakes, chowders, great assortment. Kitchen prepares nice seafood meals. Dine in/take out. Try it, you'll like it.

I was never there, but my friend was taking me out for lunch and wanted fish, so he took me to WHITE CAP. Well it was awesome, you sit outside under a tent in front of the water and watch the boats and birds. I loved the atmosphere. Very different type of place to eat. If you like fish go and check it out.

The food is cooked to your liking, and it is quite delicious !

How come monies for "Sandy Storm" haven't gone out to repair the boardwalk along the canal?
Can someone, please help this fine establishment out? What is the town Mayor doing?
My, Lord, I was invited by a family relative to visit this wonderful place and I'm looking around as she's giving me a brief history lesson and I was saddened, to see that nothing much has been repaired. I wish, I wasn't an 'ole ♀ to help out.

This is one of those out-of-the-way places that you know about, or you don't know about it. You need to know about it. The food is excellent, the prices reasonable and during good weather you can enjoy your meal under a tent by the water. I recommend it to anyone!

Fresh local fish at a great price. Not many tables for dine-in service during winter time but still great food year round. Had teriyaki salmon my last visit, the price was unbeatable and had great portion size. Go white cap!

A casual eating place in a seafood store. What you get is the freshest seafood properly cooked. Had the fish and chips and the New England clam chowder. Can't beat it in any restaurant. Saw a lot of takeout orders. A local treasure.

I have been coming here for years. Great food. Great service. Fresh, right off the boat, fish are always on the menu. Prices are decent. Views are fantastic.

Great seafood, both raw and cooked. Little slow when busy, but food is worth it. Staff great, attentive with a positive attitude. If you go, you need to drive behind other bldgs. It's not right on the road.

Small place either only 2 indoor tables, but the food is fantastic. Right on the water and pleasant.
