Enjoyed very much. Raised many questions about construction of original track. Took comfort in rail trails being easily converted back to rail use. Area still has many dairiy farms. Says there are beavers. Believe I IDed one lodge. River otters on iNaturalist. Would certainly return for cycling (via bike). First photo may be a bollard that lies flat.

Very nicely paved trail. Beautiful scenery. Would recommend more for walking as it is not to long. I biked it in 15 minutes.

Great paved trail. ADA accessible, one wheelchair can comfortably pass another wheelchair. Saw a nice amount of dogs being walked. People running, walking, biking. No restroom 😫. Small playground.

I walk the trail regularly, beautiful scenery and interesting local history. It's pretty well kept and all the people who walk it have always been friendly.

This is a paved rail trail of two parts split by the Main street of Hurleyville, about 3.2 miles, Access to the trail head is by the Arts Center. A great place to walk or ride your bike.

This is a fabulous rails to trails bike path through some really lovely forest. It is an initiative of the Open Space Institute and the Center for Discovery to young adults with autism a richer and more fulfilling life through farming and access to the natural world. Hurleyville itself is becoming a ever more interesting place to visit.

This park and trail is absolutely beautiful. The grounds are well kept and wheel chair accessible. My only wish is that people occupying the trail would do their part in keeping it clean!

Walked this trail twice in July.
It's approximately 1.1miles in length. It's straight, paved and level the entire way making for an extremely easy walk or bicycle ride.
This trail is a gem in the countryside. You'll pass through the marsh land, rock
formation then through the forest.
ENJOY

This trail is smooth, clean and beautiful. We take our bikes from Mountaindale and ride local to Hurleyville. The trail can get packed by noon, even now during Covid-19. You’ll likely going to see geese and ducks but if you’re luck you’ll spot the heron and see an eagle and hawk too. I hope they continue the trail into ferndale. Right now it stops at Old Monticello Rd.
