Tinker Taco has the most unique & delicious tacos!!

From the first bite you can tell they care deeply about the quality of ingredients being used in each taco. We ordered our tacos, were handed a number for our order, then sat ourselves near the outdoor grill. (If it was a little warmer out, we would have sat by the river as there is ample seating!)

Our food was brought to us once it was ready. I ordered one barbacoa, one fish, and one chorizo y papas taco. Each taco was savory and enjoyable in its own way, but my favorite was the fish taco – every bite was crispy & oh-so delicious!

I highly recommend giving Tinker Taco a try.

This place serves some of the best tacos I have ever eaten. Trust me when I tell you, I have eaten more than my fair share of tacos. If you're feeling adventurous, I highly recommend the octopus taco...no joke. Tinker Taco is a hidden gem. It's a must for any day trip in Woodstock.

This is one of the best locations in Woodstock to lounge by the river or inside at the bar and chat with friends. The bartender is so nice and the margaritas are never short of interesting flavor profiles. It’s an order-at-the bar & take a number where they drop your order to the table. I always get the fried avocado mole and chorizo tacos which leaves me full! They recently launched BBQ on Fridays and the ribs were bangin’ and a generous portion for the value. A Definite go-to spot!

A little expensive but amazing tacos. Lots of flavor. Don't be afraid to get more than one because they're a bit small. I love the outdoor seating they have it gives you that Woodstock feel. Also they have a cute stream that you can view right outside the business.

We absolutely.loved Tinker Taco Lab. The service was great, the bartender was amazing, the ambience was original and beautiful, and the tacos were delicious!

Service is great. It was raining a lot and everybody was doing their best to deliver food. In addition to it, great tacos, bartender is super kind and quick, ambience close to the river is another positive point. So I don’t get why some people complain about it - perhaps they were just having a bad day, don’t like tequila or are not patient enough to wait 5min.

Finally they have THE CUTEST DOG as the bar mascot.

Awesome Taco place. Authentic food, everything look made from scratch even the pita, everything taste great, people are friendly, great experience!

Nice little place set back from the road. Friendly atmosphere and even a bar dog! Went in April on a Saturday and it was still pretty busy. Worth checking out if you are in town.

What a great little place. The tacos were on point. Highly suggest the Vegan "Chorizo" & fried Avocado. Yum!

Great tacos and cocktails, both “high-end/gourmet” so not cheap, but worth it. Also great vibe in the outdoor patio—like you’re on vacation somewhere south of the border—quite different than the rest of touristy Woodstock. Note very limited hours—basically weekend days. Great mezcal version of Smoke & Mirrors.

The bartender very congenial and very good at his craft. The tacos were creative as well as tasty.

There are two Woodstock NY restaurants tied for first place on our opinion, and Tinker Taco Lab is one of them. Incredible variety of tacos, all hand made and incredibly delicious, and some salads that are simply the freshest and best to be found. Indoor seating is tight but on a good day there's nothing better than al-fresco (or should I say 'con taco') dining by the stream.

Excellent tacos! We tried 6 of them off the menu and they were all fantastic and bursting with flavor. The pickled charcuterie was an excellent touch as well. There’s plenty of outdoor seating and the vibe is super relaxed.

This place is awesome. Jim the bartender owner/operator is a true pro. Excellent curation of tequila and mescal. Place attracts interesting people.

Got a little more hammered than intended, but was a lot of fun. Looking forward to coming back soon.

Delicious and creative tacos and cocktails. However, the pickled vegetables served as a side garnish almost stole the show! However, come prepared to order 3-4 tacos because portions are small. I tried fish, tongue, barbacoa and carnitas. All delish. Barbacoa is a definite Do Not Miss

Best tacos ever!!! 🌮🌮This may have been the tastiest and most authentic Mexican food I have ever had. This place is truly a little gem! 💎💎💯 I also liked the location and setup, it’s very cool and charming (but totally laid back! 😎)
