Mr. Crab House

My husband and I drove an hour just to come here to celebrate our anniversary for something different than where we are from.
Helena our waitress was very nice.
Our order cane out super fast. We went on a Wednesday around 12:30, not crowded at that time.
Everything was so awesome! Crablegs and jumbo shrimp were sooooo good! We definitely will be coming back!
The special blend medium sauce was perfect, a little zing but not too spicey.

What a hidden gem in Cinci! We visited on 10/14/23 and each of our family members got a different Cajun boil. The food was FANTASTIC! Our waiter was attentive and funny. You definitely get a lot of food; it’s delicious, pipping hot and we all can’t wait to come again!!

So, I was starving and saw this little spot in a tiny strip area near Lowe's and I drive over to get some noodles for carryout. Welp, it's a Cajun seafood restaurant haha. So, I ordered some chicken strips and fries, (so delicious), some white sauce clam chowder, a chicken salad with fresh chicken strips and BBQ wings. I'm not a gumbo fan and I have issues with anything too "fishy". I can't comment on the seafood unfortunately but I can tell you that the carry out orders as I sat at the bar waiting for my order was for catfish. That's my next order for sure! The folks in line said it was fantastic but I already ordered chicken.

The food was incredibly fresh and hot. The fries were super crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. My favorite. The wings were spectacular as well as the salads. I also had a house margarita while I waited and it was delicious! Possibly a little pricey for the size but I haven't been out drinking in a while, so maybe $8 was average? They do have a happy hour so I'll definitely check out bar more closely at that time.
The chowder was creamy but a little more fishy tasting than I prefer. That said, I am not a fish fan, so keep that in mind. I'm sure that anyone else would have loved it! So creamy!

The owner is amazing! She mixes a delicious margarita and the atmosphere is fantastic, plus she's just a really neat young person. I felt like I had walked into a restaurant on the beach or on vacation. Very nice and cozy!

There's a separate bar area and there is also a party room for large groups. Another thing, they roll their own seafood as the owner was telling me as I took a few pics of the restaurant. I also got there at a half hour before closing time and was met with enthusiasm, kindness and really hot, fresh delicious food. I'll absolutely be back for the catfish and definitely more chicken strips and fries. Yum! Plus I want to see what else I might have to try.

I do want to add that I am not a fish fan and thought this was a Chinese restaurant from across the parking lot haha. In my defense, it was raining like crazy! That said, I wasn't disappointed whatsoever!

My fiancé and I love coming here on special occasions such as Valentine’s Day or birthdays, it’s my absolute favorite dining spot! The service is super friendly, they’re never packed at one time, the music/atmosphere is relaxing, and the food is extraordinary! I give them a 20/10 🥰 Their seafood boils are worth every penny!

Stopped in for the first time. The shrimp in the shrimp basket were fresh and succulent! The fries and sweet potato fries delicious too! The servings generous. So glad I ran across this place and I will be back!

This was my first visit to Mr. CRAB HOUSE. My friend came in from out of town and really wanted some good seafood so we looked around and landed here givin all the good reviews and great photos!
We ordered King crab legs, shrimp and muscles with old bay garlic butter, fried calamari, spring rolls. Let me just say, EVERYTHING WAS COOKED TO PERFECTION! The staff was extra nice and caring. The food was AMAZING! I give 5 stars and would give more stars if I could.

So all I can say is mm mm mmm. We were at steak and shake but after waiting 25 minutes in a non moving line we rerouted and ended up here. I was so pleased with my new hidden treasure that I almost wanted to keep it to myself. The drinks are on point and for the price I was really full and satisfied. Excellent service from our waitress Vivian also.

Couldn't pass by a place with a name like this, on a very hot day in Cincy and while waiting for repairs on my motorcycle. And Mr Crab House was great! An unprepossessing exterior, but spacious, attractive, and very clean inside. Staff was very welcoming and personable, and attentive without at all becoming a nuisance. Draft beer was cold, and came quickly in a stylish glass. My Shrimp Po' Boy with a generous side of slaw also came quickly, and both were fresh and delicious, with just the right spiciness in the Po' Boy sauce. I will definitely visit them again!

Always a nice clean restaurant with great service. The food is always good, even as a to-go order. The special they offer with snow crab is one of the cheapest in the city. They allow you to purchase the blends to-go if you're ever craving the taste without the budget.

I have always liked the food from Mr. Crabhouse. The last time I went there I had an issue with my order, but they fixed it right away. Good customer service is important and it's nice to see they realize that

Traveling I wanted to stop and try the local seafood place. Checked out the reviews and decided to try them. I definitely don’t regret my pick. The cashier was so polite and welcoming. I ordered a seafood boil. Which I would rate a 10/10. The seasoning was so amazing. My food was hot and fresh. Cooked perfectly. Safe to say I’ll stop while traveling in the future.

The best seafood I have had in years. Seasoned to perfection. The staff were extremely attentive to our needs and the restaurant was spotless. Seriously a hidden gem. Prices are very reasonable as well. We got 1lb of crab, 1lb of black mussels, 1 pound of crawfish, an order of kalimari (perfect, not rubbery at all), an order of fried shrimp, and two Mai tais. All this lovely food and drink for $100. Food was wonderful. This is my new go to for seafood.

Pleasantly surprised how AMAZING the food and drinks were here! My friends and I all tried different things just in case somebody's order wasn't that good. Between lemon pepper wings, crab cakes, catfish filets and shrimp/snow crab boil with the Mr Crab non creamy special sauce: 🔥🔥🔥! I'm from the south so my expectations were pretty high - It's not NOLA, Juicy Crab or my Uncle Freddie Lee's seafood boil but it's definitely delicious. Happy hour drinks were potent af and our server was sweet as pie. 5/5!!1

Wonderful service with delicious seafood & cajun style boils! They have great happy hour drink prices & daily specials. They let you customize your seafood boil so it's the perfect mix of seafood and flavors. So much food at such a high quality -definitely will be back to enjoy it all again!

The best seafood boil I have ever had and I go to a lot of seafood places all over country. We had luxury boil. And luxury it was!!! The shrimp was plump and not overcooked, crableg meat coming out in single strip, the seasoning is amazing. Sausage was huge and tasty. Corn was sweet, potatoes soft. Lobster tails were extremely tender. The owner is the kindest , most welcoming person and service was just excellent. Gabriella was happy and caring and very efficient. Her serving skills were impeccable. Best birthday present from my son I ever got is dinner here. Thank you all for my special day and red sangria was delicious too! Coming back with more family for birthday dinner number 2.

Everything was perfect! The server was attentive and friendly. We got the Luxury Boil and it was well worth the price! Can't wait to return!
