Smoking Monkey Pizza

Quaint little spot, friendly service, cold beer. Calzone was really good, pizza was pretty good. They offer a buffet style but I prefer made to order. First time having deep fried cauliflower, I have never liked cauliflower but it was tasty and I would actually order it again to my own surprise. Drove 30+ miles to try this place, and I will keep it on my list of local stops.

I’ve tried a lot of pizza in my day, but Smoking Monkey Pizza is in a league of its own. The crust is perfectly crispy, the sauce is tangy and flavorful, and the toppings are always fresh and delicious. And the beer selection? It’s simply unbeatable. With a constantly rotating tap list featuring the best local and craft brews, there’s always something new and exciting to try. Do yourself a favor and check this place out.

Simply amazing with one caveat. The photo your looking at is of their margherita I believe. Its saucy with seasoned mozzarella balls. The first time I went in here was before 4:30pm so I was able to order single slices. I was blown away by how deliciously perfect these slices were. On 3 subsequent visits though, I was forced to order a small pie because they dont do slices after 4:30pm. I was disappointed. Yes it was cooked perfectly but, the major caveat, there was far less mozzarella. It was like eating a marinara slice with a few hints of mozzarella cheese. If I have a picture of the small pie I will update the review or on my next trip down there. Its a shame because my first visit I was hooked, no other pizza will do. Please guys, if you read this, make the small pie the same as the slices in terms of quantity of mozzarella. I'm not talking a small minor difference, it was major. Nonetheless I will return because there is no pizza like this anywhere outside of Italy.

Quick and easy place to order pizza to go or delivery. Menu is changed and ordering is easier than it was before. Also nice not spending $70 for a pizza like some of the other good pizza restaurants

We thought we would try Smoking Monkey for the first time. Glad we did! We ordered 3 different pizzas and all 3 were delicious! We will definitely be ordering more in the future!

A bit out of the way if you are visiting Seattle, but really good!

This place was really unexpectedly good. It’s a local pizza joint that’s kinda themed to sci-fi? A bit odd, I know. But it’s actually really good! The garlic “bread” to start was great and then we got a very unique pizza that had cashews, goat cheese and salami. Weird sounding but amazing! Service was very friendly and the bathroom was clean. They also have a good selection of beers and wines, some of which are sci-fi themed and they also have a buffet during lunch periods. We visited around 6 and it was very slow, but I could see wait times being an issue with how small it is if you visited during peak periods. Hope I’m back in the area and have an excuse to go back!

Well where do I begin?! Driving past Renton, pizza was suggested...I gladly obliged. Upon reaching the shop; I noticed the monkey smoking...I on the inside prayed it wasn't what I assumed it may be. NOPE! It has such an awesome Sci-fi comics/adventures throughout as decor, cozy funky little joint. I didn't really know what to expect. I ordered my own slice with my likings [Provolone, Argula, Cherry peppers, Jalapeños, and sun-dried tomatoes]...it was AMAZING!!! We also the Buffalo wings for appetizers AND fried cauliflower [which is the best I've had thus far]. I ordered Sprite but they had something better made with cane sugar. It is safe to say I am HOOKED and will definitely return soon. Staff was awesome as well. They do have a bar and lots of different unique flavors of drinks. I use to always stick to name brand chains if you will, but as of lately, these hidden gems in our neighborhoods have turned to be jackpot. Give them a try, you will not be disappointed!

Most definitely one of if not the best pizza places in Renton WA. They have fantastic service as well as a wealth of delicious products for all walks of life to choose from. You can't go wrong if you decide to test the atmosphere of this cozy hole in the wall Syfy themed pizzeria for yourself. Whether you're bringing a date, the family, or just want a some stellar grub for the gang to devour. This place will beam you outta this world with out question.

Remember technology is great and speedy for those fast food places. But even though a brick oven baked pizza may be a few minutes slower it is truly worth the wait.

Delicious fettuccine pasta & monkey madness pepperoni prade is my new favourite wood fire pizza. Must visit place in Renton with good ambience and good quality food.

Nice guys here, and the pizza was delicious. Tasted like someone cared enough to make it edible and yummy.

This restaurant is out of this world! (OK, bad pun as this is a 'tastefully' science fiction themed restaurant). Seriously though, this was one of the best dining experiences I've had recently. From the variety of toppings available, gluten free options, friendliness of the staff, and yes, even the decor, this small shop does it all right. I had the fried cauliflower as an appetizer, we both had a salad and shared a gluten free crust pizza. They bread and fry the cauliflower in house. Their sauces are made in house. When ordering a pizza on a gluten free crust (12" is their only size for gluten free), the manager, Rachel, caught that the pesto cream sauce ordered with the pizza is thickened with flour and came out to talk with us about other sauce options. That's fantastic! Saved us the literal agony of digestive issues and sickness. Our server, Alexander, did a nice job of answering questions and checking in on us. Last shout out is to the owner, Shawn, who I didn't meet, but I have to say that I appreciate the humor in his feedback comments. Perhaps you'll give some here! LOL! Next time I'm in Seattle, I'm definitely coming back here! p.s. Sorry for the half-eaten food in the pictures - we were hungry!

This is honestly one of the best Pizza Chains I have ever had hands down in The Pacific NW! I’m A Pizza Fan like The Next Ninja Turtle 😂. I am from Astoria OR, & My favorite Pizza place is Fultano’s.
I have to say This comes really close to The Pizza I know & Love back Home.

The extra cheese & their Alfredo Sauce 🔥🔥🔥 With the Fresh Toppings & don’t Get me started on their Crust. 😋.
I give this Pizza place 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Not just for their Amazing 🍕. But for their outstanding Customer Service!

It’s kinda expensive but worth it when it’s all made in house.
Keep up the Great work & making delicious Pizzas.

Seahawks had a rare Tuesday game and needed some game time grub, ordered through their website at 3pm and food delivered by 3:30pm just in time for the game. We ordered the Pepperoni Perfection, jalapenos poppers and 2 liter coke. Everything was good 😀😋

Absolutely delicious. I got the pepperoni stromboli, and it's probably the best I've ever had. Nice little place too, quiet. You do wait a bit for food, but it's worth it.

Awsome place, this may be the best pizza I've had in the region. They have a lunch buffet with a great selection of pizza, pasta, and salad. Prices are reasonable and the staff is very helpful. The restaurant is very clean. You will not regret eating here for lunch or dinner with the vast selection of fine Italian food.

Pizza was very good. Fresh ingredients and delicious crust. Several beverage options. Slightly pricey but you get what you pay for. I'll be going here again for sure.

I love this place! Little pricey, but the toppings are out of this world! Would definately recommend the crispy cauliflower, especially if your dining in. Also they let you add meatball as a topping, which tastes super good.

I can't attest to other reviews, because I don't consume meat, but if you eat vegan or vegetarian then this spot makes the absolute tastiest pineapple, jalapeno, and cheese (request vegan alternative if non diary) pizza I have ever had.

We ordered from Uber eats today. Take my review seriously- because I truly don’t care enough to bother reviewing things generally. The pizza was brilliant and we REALLY enjoyed our meal. And the cookies on the menu are excellent. They obviously care about the food they make and it shows
