McLendon Hardware

As far as a Hardware/Home & garden store goes, McLendon has it all going on! Great place to shop, and the employees are always helpful. Also, if Milwaukee is your brand of tool, they now have a huge collection!

This is the headquarters for Christmas decorations. We went big this year and the Renton store had it all in stock when I needed it. I made a couple trips there from Bonney Lake and I was never disappointed when I arrived. They even had 300’ of C9 green Christmas light wire with 6” spacing.

A great location, great store for hardware, tools, all type of construction project supplies, lumber, plumbing, electrical, painting, windows, doors, construction clothing, gardening, & so many other fields.
They have great selection of all type of supplies, modern, and new designs in so many product lines
Even especially designed tools .

you can find items here that you can't find in other big hardware supply stores, especially when you have to repair something, and only that small part will do, and complete replacement, and complete demolition, and install a brand new system is not an option . Then McClendon will rescue you, and your project, and your budget. Because you could find what you need at McClendon what many other hardware stores discontinued carrying , then you realize the value of McClendon,

Good customer service throughout, and good helpful, friendly employees.
If you need good, friendly, knowledgeable service in plumbing dept. Then Steve is your man plus his co workers
Employees working there for long time, and they can give advices on products, and how to installation.
It is a really big store, but it has that next door neighbor, or local neighborhood store feeling, that they will give you the personal friendly assistance,or help you need.
If you need good friendly help in Customer service dept. Then Robert is your man

They also deliver.

Their price is little higher than big box stores, but it is worth paying the extra money , if it will finish our projects, and don't mind paying this extra price difference here if it helps McClendon stay in business, and support it daily operations, and allow it to be competitive, and flourish, and have higher pay to their employees.

McClendon is the destination for whatever is needed in construction small, or large project.
They do offer discounts for special quantities, and customer with large orders

Most of what they sell, are quality made.

They treat customers good. No hustle return with receipts,or Credit Card.
Lots of good free easy parking, and there are some charging stations for EV

This is your old-fashioned hardware store on steroids. It smells great, it feels great to be in, and its's clean. Everyone is very helpful and there are emoloyees everywhere.
I hate Lowes for their nasty emoloyees and their dirty stores. I am no Home Depot fan as they lack any form of professionalism, but I do love McKendon's.
I own rentals and do real estate flips. This is a go-to place for almost everything.

I love coming to McClendon's in Renton for house plants! They always have some healthy and happy house plants. I had a great experience with one of the employees - Alice from the plant department! Alice is extremely kind and knowledgeable and helped me find some plants I was looking for (much to my husband's dismay), as well as recommending mosquito bits to ward off fungus gnats. I have been to this location multiple times and Alice has always been more than willing to help. If you like house plants and haven't been super impressed with the Lowes and Home Depot offerings, I recommend coming to this store to take a look.

Steve in plumbing is the best very knowledgeable person and always willing to help. Customer service is above and beyond very friendly and patient always willing to help. He knows his stuff and very much familiar with the store setup. If you cant find it on plumbing im sure he’ll direct you to the right person or take you there himself

Wonderful selection of plants and all things gardening! Their houseplant section is also amazing with a mix of full grown and small houseplants.

I love the knowledge and customer service Renton McLendons offers. This is my #1 go to store for all home improvements and nursery.
McLendons is my Home Nordstrom.

I really enjoy going here and seeing what they have and picking up new, interesting varieties of edible plants :-) (This time was a Goji Berry & a Wintergreen plant that you use the berries for flavor - I REALLY look forward to trying that!!). The staff is helpful (checking on prices when it’s not clear, etc). I’m mostly in the garden center, so I don’t know much about the rest, lol… But this is a business I’m glad made it through COVID!

I got a ton of help from miss Kelly today, she helped locate parts for a kitchen fan I am replacing and have not been able to find and shared a recipe to clean the mount to replace the fan. Thank you miss Kelly

I have shopped at the McLendon Hardware in Kent and Renton for several years. They carry quality products and have great service. If your tired of those other stores where the employees see you and walk the other way, give these guys a try, you won't be disappointed.

I am completely satisfied w/the helpful workers on the floor. There was so much needed material, that was much better then other shp'g places. Only thing , that I was looking to set up my Earring! Jewerly display stand, which required is plastic pegs, but there was non avail. But I was referred to Michael's, which I found exactly wat I was looking for. Yay!!

Gabriel was such a big help finding the fire tools I need. Chris and the key master were great too. I LOVED getting my first Fisher scone too. Great experience.

Absolutely amazing hardware store.

Their in the midst of reorganizing and it's still amazing!
I generally patronize the White Center store,
but I wanted some specific hardware for my new fence gate.
They have an enormous selection of brackets and parts for my project.
If the Renton Mclendons doesn't have it, it probably doesn't exist.

Just got my car keys copied twice expertly friendly service with a smile from Sam in Hardware.keys icon in that store and they started correct fit when tested in the parking lot, not a wasted trip. Guys like Sam earned that great MCL excellence in customer service focus far better than the other box stores. Store looked immaculate faced no holes on the shelves and not one dust ball to be found on the floor under the shelves, anywhere. A doctor could operate on the floors of this MCL store. Cheers! 😆🥳🤙
