Esurance

Esurance was an inexpensive auto insurance that is underwritten by Allstate insurance. Sounds pretty solid. At the time, I had a used Volkswagen Jetta. My premium with loaded coverage was about $800 annually. I had no accidents, no tickets, and my car was parked in the street in urban San Diego. I moved to a community called Lake Elsinore. I had a garage and gated community. My premium jumped up. To $10,800. A ten grand increase on a high mileage 7 year old Volkswagen worth maybe $5,000. I called and spent an hour on the telephone asking why the ridiculous increase was on the premium. That was the premium for a habitual drunk driver who owns a new luxury vehicle. I was told it was because of my zip code. I changed insurance companies. It's a cash cow for Allstate. I stay way from that company as well. Association and all.

Esurance is the worse company I've ever dealt with. They never returned phone calls or emails. This company does not have good service AT ALL. They literally sat on an approval of an estimate for my car repairs FOR A MONTH, and didn't return calls from me or my car shop. I feel like they must let AI do whatever it wants without any care for the impact on their customers. I do not recommend this company - not even for consideration - AT ALL!

Slow and frustrating auto claims process. The claims adjusters are inexperienced. They asked me if I thought the vehicle was repairable or is a total loss. They should determine that. It took 16 days from the day the claim was filed for them to complete the appraisal. They had the vehicle towed to Copart right away. When it came to getting it towed to my repair shop, they didn't reply to my emails or return my calls. Only the adjuster can arrange a tow from Copart without incurring add'l cost. I was stuck waiting for their reply for days! If I could give their auto claims department a 0 star rating, I would!

Esurance. I never thought I would be leaving this review but I'm leaving it in Hope someone from the company will reach out I submitted my claim on July 17th for my car was stolen it is now August 19th 2022 and I still have not heard from anyone I left several messages with my claim representative then I also left a message with her supervisor and have yet to hear from either one I've been with them for a couple of years and now when I need them I can get no help as soon as my insurance is up with them I will be seeking another company that cares about my concerns and not just my money thank you Esurance for nothing. The professionalism of this company is unacceptable especially that of a supervisor who does not return calls back.

Horrible Service. I Had An Accident On July 2nd, 22. Spoke With My Adjuster On July 5th, 22 For A Couple Of Mins Regarding The Incident. Haven't Spoken To Them Since. I Called Several Times And Left Several Msgs. Even Left Emails. NO Response!!! Terrible Insurance Company!!!!!!

Esurance is horrible. I've been paying for insurance but they total my car, tow it to auto shop, I tell them I want to keep my car and then I have to pay for it to be towed back????? Horrible insurance company. Acted like I was bothering them for wanting to keep MY car!!!! Other issues too but to many for review.

Bad customer service, they get all your info and ask you the same questions over again, then get it wrong in the end anyways.
