Lovely bakery with delicious pastries. I was so excited to see a number of GF pastries. They were all delicious. The almond thumb print with raspberry was my favorite.

We put in a birthday cake order by phone and the cake was ready on time, beautiful, and delicious. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Also picked up a few cookies on a whim and they were awesome. Thanks Overlook Bakery!

The Tahini Chocolate Chip cookies here are OUT OF THIS WORLD amazing. So are the key lime pie and chocolate cupcakes. You must top by , ingredients are fresh , home made, and Rosie Devito , the baker, is very sweet.

Reviewing strictly based on a GF carrot cake that was ordered for a friend’s birthday! Seriously the best I’ve ever had— and I work with baked goods! So impressed, both by the quality and the pricing. Will be recommending to many in the future, whether they require specialty food accommodations or not.

Best of the best! We used Overlook Bakery to create our dream wedding cake, and it was a dream come true!!! Rosie was so sweet and the biggest help from ordering mini cakes to have our own cake tasting, to creating the cake of our dreams! Everyone raved about how delicious it was, and how beautiful it looked. The chocolate cake is to DIE FOR!!! Thank you so much again Rosie! Best salty chocolate chip cookies ever! Crispy, gooey, sweet and salty…everything I want in a cookie.
Friendly staff…lemon bars and lemon cake were great too.

Rosie and the team at Overlook Bakery did the cake and pies at our wedding and we could not be more grateful to have worked with them. The carrot cake, pecan pie, and peach raspberry frangipane were exceptional and many guests commented how surprised they were to have such delicious dessert at a wedding! Wow! My sister sweetly got me this delicious vegan chocolate raspberry cream cake for my birthday!! The crumb is amazing, the chocolate is perfect and the icing is amazing!

I highly recommend a visit to the Overlook Bakery. They’re very accommodating of dietary restrictions, and their gluten-free selection was robust. I had the gluten-free cherry thumb print & cold brew. It was truly delicious and baked to perfection. Don’t miss this!

We got married in Kingston and had Overlook make our absolutely delicious olive oil + lemon buttercream wedding cake. Rose was such a pleasure to communicate with and the floral decoration went perfectly with our decor!

Rosie made our wedding cake - lemon blueberry cake w/ vanilla buttercream and lemon curd filling - and it was a crazy delicious hit. She was fast, communicative, accommodating, and reasonably priced. Our greatest regret was leaving the leftovers in the freezer at our honeymoon hotel…

Baked goods aside, Overlook Bakery has *great* coffee! Head in and load up on all the goodies. Highly recommended.

Finally, someone who knows how to make a chocolate chip cookie! Perfect nostalgic homemade chocolate chip cookie taste. Sad I live so far away 😭

Just had the best pecan pie in my life, and it just happened to be gluten free! Kudos Rosie you did it!!

Ordered a cake for my mom’s birthday as we celebrated with a family trip to the Catskills.

Got the Cosmic Chocolate cake & it was legit the best cake I’ve had in years. I also had one of their chocolate chip cookies & was super impressed.

The owner, Rosa, I think, was super nice and would 100% recommend this. The ganache on the cake was so good & the chocolate butter cream was delicious.

Smells and tastes like heaven

I was recently looking for a last minute birthday cake for my mother in law, and knew we would be driving through Woodstock on our way to see her. I took a chance and placed an order over the phone for one of the last two cakes they had available for the day- an 8 inch chocolate cake with a browned butter buttercream frosting. Oh my god. It was one of the best cakes I’ve ever had! I’ve been talking about it for a week (and I may or may not have dreamt about it). Run! Don’t walk!
We also picked up a magic bar and a salted chocolate chip cookie as we were getting our cake- again, super delicious! Thanks Overlook! We’ll be back!

The v/gf options here are hands down, the best on (probably) the planet. Friends and family feel the same about the more traditionally baked items too! Don't sleep on this gateway to heaven.

I stop at Overlook Bakery on my way to friends who all love to receive a box of their delicious cookies and special occasions are always much more special with one of their lovely cakes. We recently had a wedding party for my daughter who requested a carrot cake. Rosie made the most beautiful and delicious cake. She even coordinated with the florist to display the cake with the centerpiece flowers. When the chef at the venue tasted it, he brought home a slice to his son, a carrot cake connoisseur!
