The Woodstock Inn on the Millstream

My family recently visited Woodstock to see a concert at Levon Helm Studios, and the Woodstock Inn on the Millstream was the perfect place to stay. For starters, the location of the inn is absolutely fantastic! While we chose to drive, the inn is located closed enough to the downtown area that you could walk if you wanted. Speaking of location, it was only minutes from Levon Helm Studios.

We only stayed one night, but there were no complaints. The room was clean, bright, and spacious. The king size bed plus the trundle bed was ample room for our family of four. The room we stayed in also had a kitchenette, which would be great for an extended stay.

The food served at breakfast was fresh and there was a good selection of fruits, muffins, bagels, breads, etc. to eat plus coffee, teas, and juice to drink.

I am sure we'll be back again the next time we visit Woodstock.

My husband and I stayed here while passing through Woodstock on a kid free weekend. It was SO relaxing, beautiful and convenient!! The grounds were soo pretty, so many places to sit and enjoy the river/waterfall. The rooms were a bit small and simple, but very cozy and relaxing. The tea/coffee/pastry snack in the afternoon was soo delicious, and the breakfast was very good as well! They offer coffee and assortment of filling breakfast food that kept us happy for our afternoon hike. It was a very short and easy walk into town. Overall a beautiful, relaxing and much needed stay. Would absolutely recommend to a friend and would love to return!

We loved our mini-Winter getaway here at the Woodstock Inn on the Millstream. It's so well-located, tucked away but so close to where all the action of Woodstock takes place. While simple, it's very charming. We'll definitely be back.

Grounds are beautiful and peaceful. If you're looking for a relaxing place to do nothing, this is it. Less than a 10 minute walk into town for food and shopping. Breakfast spread at 830am which includes vegan milk and cream cheese. Outdoor seating available at breakfast and all the time, including a chair outside your door on the porch. Standard rooms were very small. Only thing I wished was different is that there were 3 way light bulbs as the lights were painfully bright in the room & bathroom. There was a community fridge that is accessible 24 hours a day as it's outside. I wish i saw that on the website prior so i could bring some perishable food items. Staff was super friendly. Would definitely stay here again.

Our group of 4 stayed at the Brookside Bungalow and had a great experience. Location was great, very easy walk into town. Bungalow was very clean and spacious and was equipped with basic necessities. Views and sound of stream made our stay even more special. We def plan to return in the spring.

Wow! This place is a total gem. We were a group of 20 for a reunion and everyone of us was extremely satisfied with our experience at the Woodstock Inn on the Millstream. Breakfasts were a wide choice of muffins, bagels (with lox and cream cheese) granola, plenty of fruit, tea and coffee and plenty more. The rooms are fairly standard sizes and very clean and airy. Slightly apart from the main building is the High House which has 2 bedrooms, a full kitchen, and a living room comfortable for 20 - 30. The grounds (in September) are beautiful and inviting. Plenty of outdoor furniture.

I had such a great stay at The Woodstock Inn! The room was impeccably clean, the bed super comfortable, and the property was gorgeous. I stayed in the Alcove room - which was small but could certainly accommodate a couple - it was perfect for a solo traveler. It's just a short walk into town, but in a quiet area. Would definitely recommend.

I have stayed here one or two times every year or so for a long time. Have stayed in both basic rooms and deluxe suites, in spring, summer, fall and winter. My times here are associated with both precious memories and routine visits. By now, feels like home away from home except my home isn’t clean, simple, and perfect. A really nice getaway.

Lovely property located off the creek. Well furnished and comfortable rooms. Excellent service. Quiet, scenic, and few minutes walk to Woodstock Tinker Street.

A wonderful place where I will stay again. As others have said, the setting by the stream, the lovingly cared for gardens, and the friendly staff make the place a real gem. I was also impressed by how clean the room was and the high quality soap and body care products in the bathroom! The A/C in our room (#9) was a bit loud (waking us up a bit) but I would not hesitate staying at this wonderful inn again. They even have gluten free options at breakfast and afternoon tea/snack time. Great place.

Very Attentive staff and not in a bothersome way. You get to have the seclusion of being up away from the city in the woods for a very fair price. Town and all restaurant and shops in walking distance.

I left my phone charger behind and they sent to me overnight—NO QUESTIONS ASKED!! Thank you Woodstock INN!!

The Woodstock Inn on the Millstream is a wonderful charming, comfortable motel, refurbished with elegance and simplicity. Its location within walking distance to the town center as well as directly on the Millstream to relax on the Adirondeck chairs, is ideal when visiting Woodstock. I highly recommend it!

The Woodstock Inn is a lovely, quaint peaceful Inn right on a beautiful stream. We went for July 4th weekend - it was green, flowering, birds chirping - a lovely retreat. Breakfast is well done and the ladies behind the front desk are friendly and helpful.

Excellent location, gorgeous sitting areas outside our room as well as to sit and eat breakfast, read a book, do some yoga! I literally sat on a chair IN the stream. Peaceful space, extremely clean rooms, and you get a lot for the price! Very informative and friendly staff. We will definitely go back.

My sister and I went to a concert in Woodstock in late February and stayed here for one night. We wanted to find a safe hotel, and somewhere close to the concert venue.

This place exceeded our expectations. Only a 10 minute walk to the colony and it’s not a bad walk! Immediately upon entering our room, around 8 pm, we felt so safe and happy we chose this place. It was absolutely perfect for our stay. So clean, neat and just homey.

It also had amazing smelling hygiene products and those towels were high quality! I wanna go to Woodstock again strictly to stay here!! Although we were there for a short time, we could not have been any happier about where we chose! We also got a nice welcoming text from Angela before our stay letting us know if we needed anything to text or call. That’s so comforting! Hands down would recommend this place to anyone.

We loved this peaceful inn on a beautiful stream with deer in the gardens. The rooms are cozy and very clean. The breakfast was delicious with so many yummy options. Thank you!

We stayed at the Woodstock Inn for two nights. It is lovely. The stream and beautiful flowers provide a calm and restful atmosphere. The continental breakfast was lovely The office staff were pleasant and helpful. We will definitely return in the future.

This was our first time staying at Woodstock Inn on the Millstream. We absolutely loved it! Angela made us feel right at home, but at the same time, made us feel like we were the guests of honor. Her attention to detail and willingness to go above and beyond to make our stay comfortable was greatly appreciated. Absolutely lovely. We booked a Deluxe room which had the perfect amount of space for the two of us. Very nice, exceptionally clean, and cozy. The spa like bathroom was a huge plus and we enjoyed having a small kitchenette. We also enjoyed the quick and pleasant walk to town.

The innkeeper was beyond accommodating. We will definitely be back. Perfect escape from the city. Thank you!!
