Early Terrible

On a relatively cold Saturday afternoon, we decided to checkout Early Terrible for their specialty cocktails. Their setup is very unique and the place has major wintery vibes! Lots of outdoor seating with fireplace in and around seating - enough to keep you warm enough as you enjoy their spirit forward cocktails.

We ordered the Mezcal Penicillin ($17) and Smoke Signals ($19) both mezcal based cocktails which were prepared by, one of the most stunning and attractive bartenders / cocktail mixers. They do tend to get busy, so your cocktails do take a while to get ready, but the pretty looking ladies keep you occupied at the bar! Cocktails though are absolutely amazing and have a serious punch and flavor to it.

We spent close to two hours at this location and there was enough for our toddler to be occupied with as well, including three swings at the entrance of this establishment. Highly recommended and will definitely visit again!

A magical place, since the moment you arrive you can feel the energy of the place, it’s built in conjunction with nature, art and authenticity are present all around. Delicious cocktails, 🍸unique food. It's definitely a place you should visit if you go to Woodstock. On Fridays and Saturdays there’s a nice party mood. In addition, on weekends, there wood fired sourdough pizza 🍕

Long over due review, I have to say it was such an amazing experience being there great snacks and awesome drinks, made to perfection my first time in wood stock and can’t wait to go back to Early Terrible for their drinks

There brick oven pizza 🍕 is everything my kid and i loved it. I also had a margarita which also tasted pretty good. Go inside ask for the owner Nicholas, tell him his brother from another mother Kool (His driver) told your to stop in to check ✅ them out. The girls (bartenders) are beautiful and very nice, and you guys would enjoy sitting inside or outside by the firepits🔥🔥🔥 or on the old wooding swings. If you and your other half. You and your friends want to go out drink without worrying about finding a ride home they have my #. I'm located in Kingston so i will take 20 minutes minimum if I'm not clearing a trip, but i will get you or your back home to the resort or hotel safely. Service was actually quite good. The atmosphere can be a hit and miss depending on the night (or music choice). Overall, it’s one of the coolest places to hang out and enjoy an expensive cocktail. The bartenders are awesome and can really serve some amazing drinks!

This place is so unique! The outdoor layout and seating is very secluded and cute. They have swings as well, that you can utilize as seating. I'll definitely be returning again.

Awesome spot with good cocktails - super vibey and great music. I love how the space is built into the trees which feels very organic and Woodstock-y. Food has gotten better, but mostly come here for the drinks and vibes. Cozy and dark inside - love this place in the summer

The name is very misleading as it’s quiet amazing throughout the entire day ;) This place is one of a kind, from the carefully curated interior and atmosphere to unique and full of flavour tapas and cocktails. The service is top notch as well, we were also very lucky to meet the owner, who have kindly showed us the entire property and even all the plants! This experience is not comparable to anywhere I’ve ever been, and I recommend to anyone looking for a unique bar to come and check it out for themselves!

The spectacularly beautiful, inviting, warm, and delicious food, people, and atmosphere of these two fabulous places (Mud Club & Early Terrible) have given Woodstock that hybrid of old and new magic that it needed desperately. Big thanks to both Nicks, Roxana, Dale, Abby, Brooklyn, and all the rest of the amazing crew here❤.

The atmosphere and decor made you feel like you were on a island, if only there was water out front!

Drinks were all amazing, and Purple the bartender was great at making mocktails too.

The food was delish! The well seasoned chicken kebab was our fave. But honestly it was all good. The bagel chips appetizer was on the thicker side, so not for the faint of teeth.

I went on Monday and it was their burger day and the burger was absolutely delicious!
It’s such a nice place with music and lots of stuff around. Dog-friendly and great music. I’d recommend visiting it. There is also a pizza place nearby that you can order pizza and have it with your meal or just for the road.

Offbeat, comfortable, alive, and even better when the weather is warm enough to open the doors to the outside. What a wonderful little fantastical oasis! The bartender made a point to connect without be invasive at all. This should be a part of your Woodstock visit... chill out on your own or with friends.

We went around 2 pm on Sat , it was extremely busy.
The bartenders and servers work very had , but still wear smile and friendly...

The average price is kinda like Manhattan Price but dishes are much bigger .

This is my favorite place ever anywhere! We always go here when we are visiting the Woodstock area, and it is always a highlight. It is whimsical magic. The drinks are divine. The tapas are delicious. The pizza from next door that you can pair with your cocktails is fantastic. A++. Between this and Silvia across the street I could live there and be completely happy with my going out options. No one should need anything else.

Very cute, relaxing spot. Seating inside and outside. Creative chairs outside, and tree stump tables. Decoration inside is like a story book, many branches, leather, and knickknacks. Very warm welcoming atmosphere. The drinks are wonderfully delicious with creative twists. Not a great wine selection by the glass, but it's okay. The food is delicious, just small tapas. I loved the cheese tray with the Bordeaux.

Lovely spot just magnificent, love the hot apple cider look forward to it every year.

Hanging at this wicked cool bar for several hours was one of the highlights of our Woodstock trip. Those cocktails were delicious and the bar staff was super friendly. Great vibe!
