I have been coming here for as long as I can remember. The food, service and cost has always been fabulous. I love the atmosphere and special attention we get every time we come in. I'm headed to AZ for good and I made sure to stop in before my final goodbye. Totally worth it in my opinion.

We sat in the bar on a Tuesday evening and there were only a few other people there. The bartender was attentive and very friendly and helpful. He did say it gets pretty packed on the weekends. The service was amazing from him, the space was clean and tidy. We ordered orange chicken and crab rangoons and they were both impeccably tasty and fast to come out. Had a super wonderful time. I will definitely be back!

We have discovered this place recently and have been coming for a couple of months every week or so, both eat in and take out. Really excellent American Chinese food, fresh and tasty at reasonable prices. Bar in the back is always busy but we are just here to eat so stay in the dining room. Nice portions, enough for leftovers the next day. Very nice owner lady. Get to know her and this place and you won't be disappointed!

Great food and excellent service. We love the food and menu selections. The staff is great and always double checks our 'take out' order to ensure all of our selections have been packed. (Which is very important when ordering take out.) We are new to the area and are so happy to have found this place.

Have been driving pass it for yrs and decided to stop for there for lunch, for the first time yesterday. Order the Mongolian beef with bbq fried rice. Almond fried chicken and sweet n sour chicken. Definitely planning to go back to order it again. And also try the other options on the menu.
Our server was such a sweet heart. She was very attentive.

I absolutely love this place. The food is great and very well priced. The lady has attitude but its literally the reason ill be going back. She makes me smile. Its like being at home. Cant wait for the dine in option to be available again.

This is not a bustling place full of people🤔 which is why i liked the service😉.this lil wonderful woman , who is attentive and funny if u are nice , "so please show her the upmost respect"..the food is great and in abundance.👍there are things to look at and the placemats have the chinese calendar on them iam The Dragon which is so cool!!😎.you will have left overs and might i say the Almond chicken, and sweat and sour is good. I loved all the rice dishes and the tea is on point hand made by the lil ole Lady..😉watch your spead heading to des moines and parking but enjoy this place i sure do!!😋i go there more than other places

Been a patron for over 10 yrs. The menu is diverse and quality and quantity of food is quite good. If you leave hungary, it's your own fault...be sure to stop by the lounge and imbibe your favorite libation..

This place is not fancy but, it is The Best in all aspects of customer service and in quality delicious food. Best prices in town! I was there last week and they had their inspection by the fire dept. I overheard them telling the owners that was one of the cleanest restaurants he had ever seen. You can't go wrong here!

Great food, excellent waiter! My son and I ordered the combo #4 plus crab wanton and it was all very good. A lot of food, brought some home for later. Very enjoyable! Price is very good.

This is a restaurant, bar that I have visited many times and never disappoints. Never buzy, which I can't understand. The food here is very good, a clean restaurant, and not over priced.

This is my favorite Chinese restaurant, the owner is super kind and it's the only Chinese place that I have loved everything I have tried. And I've had more different dishes here than any other place, and have never been disappointed in a choice. The honey walnut shrimp is my fav, followed by the lemon chicken.

The lady who always works here is the sweetest old lady iv ever had the pleasure of meeting this place has it all amazing food decent prices large portions and awesome staff!! Not to mention there's a bar attached lol 😁

Especially if you only want Really Good Chinese Food and the owners are very kind , hubby n I keep coming back, ever since 2017, when we had visited Washington, now we are staying for awhile and we eat here at least 1 to 3 times a month.

I would 10/10 commend coming here!!! Such amazing dish! And then sweet customer service! I came in form the cold to go order some dinner and wile I was wait she brought some hot wile waited!

Food is great owner, chef and son are wonderful. I eat at bar and bar tender Greg is very personal and pours great drinks. If you want great food at a great price or drinks this is your place! A+++

Fun...music is occasionally dynamically lax ie VERY LOUD: bring ear plugs just in case...fun neighborhood bar and restaurant...food is good...prices more than reasonable...Greg is a great and attentive bartender. Give it an 8.

We love to go here on Wednesdays before choir practice... Our waitress is a kick and we enjoy bantering with her. The food is fantastic!

We eat here 3 or 4 times a month, Absolutly the best hidden secret in Des Moines, honestly the Chinese Cuisine here is Excellent, ive enjoyed so many dishes and all of them 5 star.

Greg Bonus runs the lounge and he is the very ideal of what a gracious host is. An example of accountability, integrity and honor and a true American! I will keep going back to the Dragon Gate
