A little late posting this but it must be said. I was in the hospital the end of October was put on 2 west. I have to admit the ER staff and staff on the floor and the lady from cafeteria was amazing that was the best care I have ever had at any hospital. We arrived at the ER late at night. Being admitted was easy and quick. We were in the room only a few minutes when the nurse arrived and got things situated. The doctor arrived promptly and our needs were taken care of in short order. The entire staff were friendly, courteous, and professional with a level of compassion we were unprepared for. I know it sounds weird, but this was a great hospital experience. I understand everyone's situation is different. W we felt cared for and listened too by everyone we met. Thank you for being excellent and doing great at what you do.

I went to the ER for a nosebleed. Of course I did not want to be there at all. Knowing my history and with testing, the staff determined that I was facing Kidney Failure as well as needing surgery to stop the profuse bleeding. I still, after weeks of various treatments and procedures do not want to be there. BUT, the care was exemplary, Doctors, Nurses and Surgeons, kind, considerate and professional.
I am alive and in good health.
to the staff if you read this, I am sure you know who this is, THANK YOU, Stephen Curliss.

I have been here for about a week in the past year if I combine all my separate days, and every time I’ve been thrilled with my care. The nurses are kind and empathetic. The surgery staff is amazing. The guy who was there after I woke up was 10/10. I’ve always felt heard and listened to.

The Licking Memorial Hospital ER and 4th floor staff of nurses and doctors treated my son for his brain cancer. The care he received was the best ever. The care was highly professional and given freely from the heart. My family couldn't be more pleased with the care given my son at LMH. Thank you so much.

Premium Care and Very nice rooms after admission. In the last month I've been to 6 different hospitals (I travel). Just a few years ago I wouldn't never trusted them with my severe liver cirrhosis and related issues. They had a very bad reputation.
Other than waiting on procedures and results. They've been very good with timing. Today marks my 4th day here. I came in miserable. After 3 days I felt ready to go.
Just remember, Hospitals are very busy, There's always someone who needs immediate attention as you ring ring ring the nurse button for a jell-o. Be patient and Treat the Staff how you want to be treated.
God bless our Hospitals for great modern care.

I was there with my daughter & her partner as she delivered their first baby 😍 They had to induce her a couple weeks early as she was high risk & she was there for several days before she gave birth.
The nurses were great (as most are 😉) all very friendly and accommodating! Her doctor was great & seemed to know exactly what needed to be done to move her delivery along. The next day they got treated to a fabulous steak & lobster dinner before she was released with her precious, bundle of joy, my grandson 💖

My wife had to go here for kidney stones. No issues at all. She ended up having to be admitted and was there for almost 24 hours. All the nurses were amazing and helpful. Dr. Reedus, was very kind and knowledgeable. And he explained everything to me to the T. I will definitely go back for any of my hospital needs.

I cannot speak for how the hospital deals with life and death emergencies, but I can speak for my own experience, which despite it being a hospital stay, was a pretty good experience. I came in with shingles around my left eye, and the nurses who took care of me were all wonderful. Pardon me as I am bad with names, but I did remember some: Amanda, Nicole, Pam, Colin and Shelby, not to mention countless others who took very good care of me and made my stay much better. Nurses are over worked and underpaid and have to deal with so much during their shifts. Hopefully I was a pretty easy patient and they were able to deal with patients who needed more help. Thank you for all of your hard work and effort on my behalf, and for treating me with dignity.

Dr. Mueller did surgery on two of my family members and he is marvelous! The nurse Linda helped my grandma and my uncle and she is very generous and gentle. Thank you!!

This is actually a great hospital and a great ER if you're actually in grave danger. If you're not in grave danger, you're going to have to wait. The staff has always been very kind with me and then make sure they take care of my needs. Some people might have an attitude but you don't know what they just dealt with. Hospitals are hard to work at. Sure Their job is to be smiley but sometimes that's really rough. Everyone's only a human.

May of 2022, I was admitted for my first kidney stone and ended up staying overnight due to complications. The nurses throughout my stay and the procedures were top notch and caring. Dr. Reedus was my urologist, he was very kind and knowledgeable. Dr. Reedus took his time explaining everything to my husband and myself thoroughly. I highly recommend Licking Memorial Hospital and the staff there.

I went to see Dr D’Anna Mullins and she was the most personal, intelligent, informative doctor I’ve ever went to. I walked away, looked at my wife and asked her if she had ever had an experience like that. She immediately said absolutely not, she was amazing. I couldn’t have agreed more. After trying to get into Ohio State to see a hematologist for over 6 weeks and hours spent with the back and forth, I scheduled a visit here. I lucked out, because she is amazing. If you need a Hematologist, I highly recommend her.

I went in Monday morning to have my son. The doctors an nurses on maturity ward were amazing. They went above and beyond their job, my C-section went great, my stay was great. They answered all questions, helped me through my pain an was great to my over excited family and friends. Even the food was great, from start to till I left. I never felt unwanted or rushed out of there. Such a great experience where the nurses, doctors, anesthesiologist that guy was amazing. He talked me through the whole thing, made sure I felt no pain, an made sure I was comfortable throughout the entire C-section. I didn't feel like another patient but felt like they cared. They deserve more than 5 stars, thank you for a great time an experience with my little boy being born.

Had a good experience during my stay. If you have realistic expectations and dont expect to be waited on like your at some 5 star resort only rich people can afford I think you will come away with a good experience too. The staff were pleasant and kind.

Yes, it can take time for them to get to you during the day. There is much more activity going on. From taking people to get testing, walking them in the hallways, looking for new medications if a person can not tolerate what they are currently being given, monitoring patients vitals, and moving people between the bed and chair/bathroom. This all takes a lot of time and should be obvious if only you take a moment to think about the Other patients who are also in the hospital.

Being as self sufficient as possible while laid up in bed is hard, but it is doable and takes some of the load off the staff caring for patients so when you actually do need them they can get to you and others quicker. For instance, can you pee in the urinal in bed. Yes its unpleasant, but just this one simple act because its done several times a day per person can shave a lot of time off from dealing with people and get you help faster if the majority of other patients works together towards this goal.

So yea, for me my stay was a good one.

I don't understand the negative reviews. This is a wonderful small county hospital that I have used several times for emergencies and other services. I have been admitted no less than 3 times and was very well taken care of. Every single time I have been there I have been very satisfied. It's important for people to realize the emergency room IS NOT a first come, first served service. One is seen according to the degree of emergency as determined by the triage procedure. Also, if a patient is difficult or a jerk how do you think that might affect the way you're treated by the staff.

I could not say anything bad about this place I have come here many times for different reasons. This time was the absolute best experience I have ever had . We came in on Tuesday morning to have my son, it was an amazing experience. Full of emotions. The staff in the maternity area are amazing we hope to leave Friday as long as he checks out okay. Thank you all .

Also we have come here for emergency reasons as well and the wait can very we have waited 7 hours before but that is the worst .

This Hospital is amazing! Always implementing best practice measures. The built in oak style design throughout seems really outdated and it would be lovely if some more updates were made. Freshly remodeled cafeteria with great options.

I am new to area. Yesterday my roommate had what seemed like a TIA while golfing with his friend. I am a retired RN. When he returned home from golfing he was shaky but no longer confused. Under duress I took him to the nearest ER to rule out a stroke. It was 6:00 pm. There was no wait. The staff was very competent. We were there for 7 hours. He had a CT, an MRI, blood work and IV antibiotics. Dr. Terrill Burnworth was an EXCELLENT Physician. He was very thorough. He also called the neurologist at home for a consult. He was diagnosed with a TIA and also a sinus infection. The nursing staff was friendly and competent. The cafeteria was great. I have worked in many hospitals and for a smaller town ER I was totally satisfied with his care.
